Daniel G.I was to pick up my truck at 9am Saturday morning when I got there the door on sign said they were open from 9-5, we waited n waited finally finally someone asked if they can help us n than they told us they were closed. I informed them that can't be right because I have a reservation n I'm not leaving without a truck. So finally called a manager n he did the check in via telephone than the lady at the place handed me keys n said it was out there, we got in the truck n left.

Leah J.This location is a car wash and U-Haul drop off location. The support staff (car wash/detail personnel) was attentive in helping my fiancé and I find the manager/owner after we arrived. However, the level of service from the manager/owner left a lot to be desired. When I asked about the information on my e-receipt, subsequent to him completing his vehicle inspection, he was dismissive in his response and didn't answer my question. Once I pressed further with my question, he reluctantly agreed to go to his office to provide a paper receipt. Once there he refused to address me and instead spoke directly to my fiancé. The rental was in my name. I suggest the manager/owner get trained on how to respectfully interact and do business with female customers. Men are not the only customers who rent equipment.

MAURITA B.The trailer had an access point of water, ALL of our gear was soaked and some of it damaged. Not this location's fault but the reason I had to pick it up there was not acceptable. The location I rented from originally (5x8) the trailer lights did not work and the location tried blaming my vehicle for the issue when it was in fact the trailer's fault. He refused to diagnose the problem and I had to go to 3 other Uhaul locations to pick up THIS trailer, a 4x8 and it turns out it had a hole in it and road water got inside and soaked our stuff. VERY, VERY disappointing. I could not fit all the equipment I needed to in the 4x8 also. Incredibly disappointing experience all the way around. However, the location in CC Hills was VERY helpful and nice. But it wasn't his fault for the issues I have.

Alonzo H.They failed to tell me that when converting to 24/7 pick up you still must pick up no later than one hour after reservation time. I told them that another dealer had told me that you have an before and an an hour after the reservation and asked if I needed to give them a time I would pick it up and he said no. When I arrived after hours my app said reservation had expired. Had to wait 20 minutes for customer service to answer and they were helpful and reset the reservation for a time that evening so I could use the 24/7 mobile pick up. When I returned the truck I told the owner about this and he seemed clueless about needing to change reservation to an after hours time in order to pick up the truck after hours. HD he got it right, the overall experience would have been excellent as your technology and app are impressive. Frustrating but in the end it served my purpose

DON F.In order to go to the Uhaul office, you have to enter a dog washing room. I had to dodge two huge dogs since the owner refused to hold them and kept insisting they are friendly. I can't be near dogs due to my religion and was not notified of this set up when I reserved my truck. When I got to the office, it was unclear when a staff member would come to help me until someone walked by from the car wash and asked if I needed something and I told them I'm here for a truck. Check out went fine but when I asked if the associate can come out to walk around the truck with me to look at any damage, he said there's no need and walked away and started helping someone else. I said, I don't want to be blamed for any damage and would like for him to come inspect the truck before I leave. He said, I don't have time and walked away from me. He did not explain the process of return to me, of inspection, of anything. He gave me my contract and told me to bring it back at the same fuel level. I had to prod him to get more information about drop off. He would give me short answers and would try to work with someone else before he fully completed my rental even though I had a reservation. I went out and the truck had damage. I go out and see the truck had damage that is not marked. I go in to ask him to come out to look at the damage and be kept saying he doesn't have time. Again not explaining the process to me. He finally came out after wasting my time. He says oh I just have to put stickers on anything that's damaged. I showed him the damage. He then said how many stickers do you want me to get. I said look at the truck and Inspect it. Find the damage and just put stickers on it. He kept saying how many do you need...I said Idk bring five stickers so we can put some and you don't have to go back and forth. He left and came back with two transparent stickers that blended in with the truck. Put one on the bumper and one on the side. And walked away and went back in the building. This was a horrible experience and I would never spend my money at this place. U-haul is not a friendly company and I will be reviewing on every platform and warning everyone I know. U-haul made a very stressful out of state move and an instate haul from storage even worse.
