One person running the gas station, convenience store and supposedly running Uhaul. I checked in at 12:43 PM and he told me to just put it out back. I had to unhitch the trailer by myself, I am 77 years old. I couldn't move it myself to the exact parking location because it was to heavy. This crazy guy came out yelling because it wasn't exactly where it should be. I told him it was to heavy and we both moved it. About 10 ft. Very miserable person. Then I see on my credit card that they charged me $20 for a late fee. I want my money back because I was early, not late. This location is a terrible representative for Uhaul.

DANIEL K.No one answered the phone for the 2 days I was trying to call. Then once we got there they were closed and the uhaul reservation had no info for a code to unlock the lock box. AND the location had no service and it was impossible to use the app or website to check in. Even though I had already checked in days prior. And then to make it worse it was freezing outside and took literally an hour to get the key from the lock.

William Y.It wasn't about the location, as much as the inconvenience returning the truck. What's the purpose of having an attendant if the customer has to do everything. Why should I have to go online, take photos of the equipment, check the mileage and gas, register for an account or load an app that I'll rarely use!

Edward C.The only reason I use this location is because it is within walking distance of my home. However, I feel the owner of this station is not a very honest person. He always tries to overcharge me on the gas usage. The meter was almost on empty and signaled that I had only 50 mi before tank was empty. My total drive was 10 miles. When I returned the truck I put in 2 gallons. This guy tried to tell me I owed another $12,85 in gas charges because he didn't want to adjust my bill for estimated mileage. In addition, after telling him I did not want the Insurance, he added it on to my bill by mistake. He said he could take it off but because I was in a hurry I told him to just leave it. He has done this before on a previous rental a few years back. Trying to scam people to get a few extra bucks in commission is not a very good way to represent Uhaul in customer service.

I spent extra time trying to figure it out prior to getting help which only added to the frustration and delayed moving plans.the employee stated that many people have difficulty with 24/7 procedure to picking up the truck.

NICOLE G.I reserved my truck for 24/7 pick up because I needed the truck at 8am and I knew the location didn't open until 9am. Upon arrival, I completed my registration for 24/7 pick up but the location isn't set up for anything other than hand delivery of keys. So I still had to wait for someone to show up to give me the keys, which really messed up the entire schedule for the day. You should NOT be able to reserve 24/7 pick up if the location isn't able to honor that program. Very frustrating experience.
LUKE R.I had to wait 30 minutes for the Uhual truck and was told to wait 5 minutes. Then the employee was walking back and forth avoiding me. I notified the customer representative and they didn't do anything. The truck inside smell horrible and was not clean inside. I was charged a bit more than what I used in miles but good thing I called them out, otherwise I would have gotten charged more than what I actually drove. At this point I need a compensation for the inconvenience.

He did not let me know that I needed to be on the U-Haul location to do that, so I decided to check out at home and tried to do that when I got home, but that was not possible. I ended up having to drive back to the U-Haul location, late at night, to check out. Had the representative told me in ADVANCE that checkout can ONLY be done on location, I would have done that and would not have had to drive back there at night, tired.

john L.I had to squeeze the rental because your representative would not move a vehicle that was right in front of the rental. Also,I was not given a receipt when I picked up the vehicle and subsequently, I was charged almost 9 dollars for gas that I replaced at the gas station. That is not cool. But I wasnt going to argue with him.

When he told me I had to fill up the tank I said that I wasn't aware that I had to put gas but I did anyway. He said, “if you don't like it, we have to charge you $80-$90 extra from not filling it up.†He was very rude. I had my sister drive my car to the u-haul drop off so she can take me home and that same guy backed up into my car! He didn't apologize all he said was “is she still behind me?†Very bad experience. Luckily not much damage was made to my car.
