I was charged for the gas being below the required spot when I returned the vehicle. This was disappointing as I had overfilled it before returning it and my picture was angled so when I showed it to the clerk it looked like the line was sitting just below. My mistake on the photo but just sucked to be charged $50 for a photo error. All in all it is what it is, however all other reps I have dealt with in the past would have been more understanding. Just sucks bc I have only had good experiences with uhaul and this one cost me.SUSANNE V.

Gas wasn't full and when I went and filled up to the same line, I got charged because it wasn't at full line. I did put gas in but I still got charged extra for gas, I found that super odd. When I rented from this location before, it used to be very easy process, I would give my phone number and my information came up in the system and the process was fast and smooth, this time I had to provide all the information again and give a picture of my driver's license and the clerk kept serving customers at the convenience store and asking me to wait during the process, a 2 minute process to pickup the truck that I had prebooked ended up being a 25 minute ordeal. When I dropped off the truck the same day and after I put gas in it, I was told that I didn't put enough gas in it, then I showed the guy the picture from when I picked it the truck and he apologized and said, it matches the gauges and that I will not be charged. when I got my email receipts I notice that I was charged $12 for gas. I have asked for the van and they gave me truck and never wanted a equipment insurance (safe trip) since my credit card covers my rental insurance. But without acknowledging me they charged me. The customer rap was helping few other customers at the same time when she was booking van for me. Since this is a convenient store. I feel like I was ripped off. Look like they running a scam home. We returned the truck with the gas replenished and were harassed on a Friday night by an employee claiming we didn't replenish it. I advised we had the gas receipt and our driver had indeed replenished it. 3 upsetting phone calls into Friday night later until the manager called and advised the employee was new and made a mistake.Marc G.
During Covid businesses sanitize between customers. The truck we got wasn't even clean, much less sanitized. There were cigarette ashes everywhere and chocolate drink all over the dials - it was disgusting. When I mentioned it, the clerk said the previous customer returned it late... So why didn't we get one of the other 2 trucks in the lot instead? Other than the cleanliness issue, the clerk was personable, and the truck was easy to book, pickup and return.Gordon R.
We got a 20feet truck and it was dirty - There was a thick layer of dust on the dashboard, the wheel was not aligned at all, wipers were useless - we actually got caught in a storm and couldn't use the wipers! It is kind of fraud at that location, Rent 15 tons truck just 3 hours . Drives 15 km distance ended up to be forced to add gas costed me 45$ And refused to charge me the daily rate and charged me 61 dollars so total is 105 $ is that right???HOSSAM M.
- Truck was booked 1 hour later than requested, even after I called to confirm the original pickup time & double checked online the day prior; received truck 1,5 hours late; $50 reservation guarantee was NOT honoured even after I brought it up - Rented equipment (utility dolly, furniture pads) were not provided - Truck was not cleaned or sanitized in any way from what we could tell - I believe we were charged a late fee; we returned the truck 40 minutes after our original return time, however I feel this is unfair given we received the truck 1,5 hours later than expectedSAMJAMES B.
The truck was filthy. There were dried sauce stains on the seats in the cabin and there was wet pain in the back of the truck which did get in my belongings. I was overcharged for the item. I have called back the location multiple times to see the reason why, with no response. The left indicator light was broken before I received the truck but the clerk told me that they could not give me another truck. He assured me that Uhaul would be giving me some of my money back because of a faulty vehicle, but instead I got overchargedMOHAMMADALIGULAM S.

This was my second location, the Colby Drive experience was TERRIBLE, I had booked a truck a week ahead & when I was dropped off to pick it up at the end of the day it was not available. They knew all that was going to be the case but did not contact me.PEETERE P.

These people who run the uhaul rental at hasty market on westwood will rip you right off I called them to explain I would be a little later with the uhual then expected ad we had no shows to help move sonitnwas just my husband and I moving a whole house she explained there would be a 20 late charge well if that wasnt a huge fat f**king lie the ended up charging me and I had rented a uhual for 24 hours so it was to be back by 8:15 pm but I didnt get it back until 12 am and I was charged 2 full days...plus mileage Ã-2...double the appliance dolly and this was after being told only a 20 late charge would apply so they got double there rent on this uhaul because not only did I get charged for another full day and it was dropped at 12am they also wouldnt let me keep it for the time I paid for because and I quote it was rent that afternoon so on top of everything else someone else had to pay a rental on a uhaul that in all sense of the word was paid for I even said well then they shouldnt have to pay for today then since I already paid for it and they are like that's not how it works if the person who rented from this.location Tuesday I am sorry you had to pay for something already paid for it's not right. bottom line dont use this location unless your super desperate they screw you. I noticed that the gas tank reading on the paper given to me before getting the truck over estimates the amount of gas that is actually in the truck, but other than this it was a great easy experience. I would highly recommend going to the Hasty Market for picking up a truck!LEEWALTER V.

We filled out all our information online but for some reason were asked the exact same questions in store. I'm not sure if this is normal or if the store didn't prepare for our pick up. While we were being â€˜helped', the store associate would call up the next person in line and fully serve them and cash them out (in the middle of â€˜helping' us). She would stop doing whatever she was doing to set us up with our truck and completely turn her attention to someone else. She rang several transactions through before finishing our service. It was ridiculous as we are in the middle of a pandemic and she would call the next person up to the same til that we were at (not socially distanced at all). We would have to back away every time she decided someone else's service was more important than ours. I think she served 4 customers before I asked why she wasn't just finishing helping us before helping others and she snapped back at me and pointed at a printed sign that said that they don't prioritize UHaul customers. Why wasn't this posted online? I wish I knew what we were walking into when I booked my reservation. If I knew we weren't going to be helped at the same level of service as any other customer I would have booked elsewhere. We did not cut in line or do anything to demand more than her other customers. We stood in line, waited our turn, and then when being helped we felt completely uncomfortable and were treated as â€˜less than' compared to other customers. To top things off she just gave us the keys and didn't say anything else. We went to where the trucks were and had to figure out which was the one we were renting on our own. When we figured it out, we were pretty upset because it was parked HORRIBLY. I have had good experiences with UHaul in the past but this was so bad that both my fiancÃ© and I were in shock. What's the point in partnering with a store like this if they don't seem to care about UHaul customers and they are just tarnishing you're brand?JOHNDAVID BOYCE W.
