JC UHaul Field Manager helped unwind the chaos and added fees. 1st) We booked weeks in advance, we were called Sunday evening and told the truck we rented was not in service, manager "contact a competitor". 2) we were overcharged & told the truck was late when we were outside the collision center after they opened. I asked the man at the desk if he would check out the truck/mileage gas etc and he said "no that's what Uhaul does". Poor customer service, poor communication, & as a whole the worst experience with your company in years of using Uhaul.

Renee MHawaii auto collision was punctual, and professional in renting out their 15ft truck. Street parking is minimal but easy to find.
sean wWhen we arrived, there were no furniture moving blankets on hand even though it let me make that a part of my reservation. It just seemed like we were a bother when we got to the store to pick up our rental. When we returned the truck, we walked the keys into the store. I got a phone call the next day to ask if the truck was returned. Just seemed like service could be improved. Truck was in good condition and did the job. We are thankful for that part!

RICK CThe van was filled with roaches, all around the driver seat, on it, under, left, right, front, behind, at my feet, every time I opened the door, etc. I get the environment we"re in but there's no excuse for this. I've rented vehicles elsewhere without amy roach infestation. Also, the furniture dollies I reserved were not packed into the vehicle. Additionally, the van is in desperate need of an alignment and the back left brake light apparently was out. Glad I didn't get into an accident or stopped for a ticket! Positive note: mobile pickup afterhours.

David KPoor customer service ,rental person I spoke to never took the time to explain in detail what you need to do to start process to get your rental once at pick up location the . phone number on my email reservation did not work , voice mail was not set up , and the other number no one answer . I put in a complaint, and a Miss Karma call me and was very professional and concern about my o-deal she made sure I was totally satisfied with the end results before we hang up . UHAUL is bless to have Karma on your team . Thanks again Karma . .

Craig MThe truck advertised online was not the vehicle I picked up. I had a specific need for 7ft entrance in back. When I got to facility I observed the truck and it did not appear to be 7,5 as advertised. The agent had no idea of vehicle specs. Since I had movers scheduled I took the truck. Entrance was 6,3 at most and my racks would not fit. This made us take twice as long moving and severely injure back. It's misleading and agent not helpful and useless. I'm beyond irritated.

Gina LThe location in hilo was great, but when I got to the location in kona to load up my u-pack containers(that I paid 7000$ to have shipped to my address, then they refused to do it) I couldn't locate my containers and the office was closed due to staff shortage. I'm really terribly unhappy with all of it. But the office staff in hilo was very helpful and friendly. They did great.
Vanessa SI was told I could pick up at 730am with mobile check in but the option to pick up was not showing on my app or online and the office I called was not able to tell me the combination to the lock box outside. I had to wait till 8 for them to open and wasn't able to utilize my laborers because we were late. The guy said I could've called the office to get the code (which I did) but they could not help for half hour trying to get it.

Sharla TThe young man that handled pick up and return was less than friendly. He offered no information until asked. When I asked if they wanted truck returned with a full tank is when he says "it only has 1/4 tank now".which was an inconvenience to fuel before starting my move. I also needed to ask him how damage on truck was documented or if I needed to do it myself
blake gInterior of van (especially cab) was dirty with dust on the floors and dust/fuzz on the seats. I did include photos of this. I also found a McDonald's cup which had not been cleaned out. I should have taken a photo of that as well but just threw it out for them instead. Also the U-Haul person was not at his place of business during business hours when I picked up the van and the U-Haul app was glitching. Luckily the 24/7 U-Haul phone customer service person helped me. I picked up the van with 1/2 a tank of gas and returned it with 3/4 of a tank. There was a small amount of concrete dust from hauling a closed concrete bag in the back of the van on the removable mat. I did wipe most with my hand. I attempted to located their trash bin but was in a rush as my Lyft driver was waiting so I left it by the key drop off. I was then called and yelled at aggressively by the owner which was very frightening as I am a female. He then text me a harassing message and was very unprofessional. I do not want further customers to have to deal with this person in the future. He will not get my business again and I certainly would not recommend him to any neighbors or friends on island. Thank you for your time.
