I was charged $40 for an extra day of use, which was NOT supposed to be charged because I was clearly and explicitly told that I would not be charged since Lewiston and Atlanta didn’t have 15’ trucks, so Angie gave me the extra days (and miles) for free. She was great, but now I’m being charged and so I’m disputing the charge with my credit card company as no one at Uhaul has reached back to me yet.

No sense trying to do a pre-rental. Had to answer all the questions again. You REALLY need to put a jack on the tongue of that heavy trailer. Some day someone is going to drop that tongue on their foot and sue you people.

The place where the trailers are currently parked makes returns very difficult because you have to back the trailer in and there is almost no room to pull forward and straighten your vehicle out because of the parking along the Motel. I would have liked to see trailer parking with a pull through spot for drop off.

A every shady motel. U-Haul tenanted didn’t know if was coming and changed some of the paperwork for drop off - regardless of what our reservation said.

Was rude and non friendly, when asked about my return of deposit I was told I'll mail it to you shoved papers back at me after asking if my address was on the paper work , I was under the assumption that because I paid in cash I would be refunded back in cash at time of drop off , no place in agreement does it say other wise , now I have to wait for my deposit to show up in mail in check form ? 7>10 business days , that's ridiculous, not everybody can wait that long when moving half way across the United state.

Took the lady a while to answer the door. Then she refused to log the trailer as returned and provide me with receipt. Was just told to unhook trailer over by a u-haul truck and when they get around to it that they will check it in and send me an e-mail. Then the woman shut door in my face. I'm so sorry I was inconveniencing them (her). U-haul set it up by phone for me to return it to that location. The way that place did me was Sooooo NOT acceptable AT ALL!!!! I called the 800 number and made complaint. That Mason Mi location is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!! THEY DON'T DESERVE TO REPRESENT U-HAUL!!!!!!! I was told by the 800 number not to worry about it that they would mark my trailer as returned and that I would be fine. I NEVER got any e-mail from the Heb's Inn (U-haul) location in Mason Mi. I was very pissed to think they couldn't even inspect the trailer or even give me receipt to prove I returned the trailer. And I ASKED THE WOMAN 3 TIMES FOR ONE AND WAS DENIED!!!! I WAS TOLD WAIT FOR THE E-MAIL.... THAT NEVER CAME!!! I don't blame U-haul cuz the one in Oak Ridge TN was freaking AMAZING!!! They were sooo helpful and curtious and gave me copies of any and all documents and even called to check on me. I'd very much like to thank them.!!! I was helped mainly by a younger gentle man. He even hooked my trailer up and completed all safety checks. He even hooked my hitch up for me as it was new and unopened. They deserve extra points for a job very well done. Now the MASON MI LOCATION CAN KISS MY ASS!!!! They need to be represented for there lack of doing even the bare minimum of what is expected. Hell..... All I asked for was for them to inspect the trailer and give me a receipt for returning it. And I got door shut in my face!!!! Then left to figure out exactly where to unhook trailer. By myself I might add!!!! That experience left a very nasty taste in my mouth!!!!! Please please please reprimand them!!!!!!

While trying to drop the truck off i was rudely approached by a women in night wear telling me where to park the uhual. She then made me get back in the uhual and park it in a very tight space. I will never be returning to that uhual and will be having a hard time use the service again.

I had to disconnect car hauler in one area, park truck in another area and take appliance dolly to office. Staff extremely unfriendly and when I called after dropping off truck because I forgot item in truck I was provided with no assistance as it’s not their problem. Never return

This location was in poor disorganized dingy condition. I tried at 10am EST (my appointment time) to check in with the mobile app and kept sending the photo ID shot to be verified and it was not going through. Finally I went to the office and a woman in her pajamas let us in. She did not even have her computer equipment powered up. So we had to wait for her to get her crap together. I originally ordered furniture blankets and paid for them, but would not use them for fear of fleas/bed bugs. As the office was so dirty and cluttered and they all their dingy motel room sheets sloppily folded open shelves in there along with the uhaul supplies. They allow dogs in their "rooms" as there were tenants sitting outside their rooms and they had dogs with them. It was an eye opening experience. I'm quite surprised uhaul would partner with this place at all. It does not represent a quality business in any fashion. The parking lot is barely passable and riddled with potholes, loose asphalt and etc. Just wow--

Hot day, had to stand outside the office door in the path of hot air blowing out of air conditioning unit blowing right on you, the person was friendly but offered no help in hooking up the trailer, no check out procedure, and no check in procedure or help when I brought it back. No clear direction or signage on where to park, and again no help at all. The place is quite messy, and run down.

Truck broke down on roadside. Had to wait 2 hours to have truck towed to home. While waiting couldn’t get ahold of a live person to discuss issues/questions. Then truck was dropped off on side of road, had to unload items and carry items to House the length of a football field. Awful experience. Will not use U-Haul ever again.
