I like the location but I will never refer uhaul to anyone due to the worst experience I had with uhaul ( not the location but uhaul)

Kin Cheong HoI received quote for $ 0,89 per mile, and the u-haul dealer invoiced me $1,42 per miles . That's a scam to consumer. The reason I choose U-Haul that it is legitimate and trustworthy but I proved to be wrong . Very dishonest u-haul dealer.

Mike GibbsHave better workers, it took him 20 mins to scan my license & didn’t even communicate if there was an issue & when asked if something was wrong he completely ignored me as if I wasn’t even there, then he gave me a truck with gas noticeably below full tank & then got rude with me when i returned it exactly how it was given to me & told me I needed to fill the tank & when I told him it was given to me as it was , he lied and said the truck had a full tank of gas (which obviously was not the case)
Alexis LincolnWhen I received the truck, the truck was not cleaned! I cleaned it myself. Before I left parking lot I took a picture of mileage and fuel level. After 6 hours, I return the truck with fuel level the same as in the morning but U-haul employee told me fuel level was not enough. Then I really in his record fuel level more. In the pictures of his and mine the mileage was the same, fuel level was different. Then I put more gas in then came back, he did not happy and want more gas. I have to park truck on flat ground to get the level he want. During the conversation my brother asked him where his picture came from, he did not explain to us started to talk racism. Next customer was there to come us down and we went home. I rented U-haul trucks many time, I did not have any problem. But this time It was unpleasant for me and I am not come back to that store

NICOLA GIALLOI checked in online with all the information required, ie no insurance needed, but surprised that insurance was still included in the initial total. When I told the guy behind the counter I opted out of their insurance he said I need to tell him that upfront which was a surprise since I already indicated I did not need it when I checked in online.

Joao PorfirioIncorrect charge. Billing order said 1,09$ per kilometer. I was charged 1,75$ per kilometer instead. Parking spot was full of snow making it very difficult to park.

I brought the truck back 4 hrs sooner than I had to and then when I asked him to remove the insurance charge he was rude and told me it was out of his hands... im a 63 yr old man and I 5 star driver... I also drive for a living... I needed the truck to move some furniture for my oldest daughter.. I will NEVER use this company nore will I recommend it to anyone.. you need to re educate your people on how to treat people with respect and maybe brush up on their social skills... its embarrassing to think that this is what the world has to look forward to. I come from a time when the customer was always right and to respect your elders.. Shame on you!!!

Joyce OseiI was told I could not use cash OR debit as payment. Upon arriving at 1:15 for my 1:15-5:15 rental, I ended up having to call UHaul multiple times because the terms and agreements state cash can be used as a deposit. Finally the U-Haul representative at the variety store tells me his AFM would not allow for cash or debit. I spoke the AFM and told me This specific location does not allow cash. This is completely wrong and not specified in U-HAUL terms and agreements. Finally the AFM calls back to approve the cash or debit payment. By this time it is 3:00PM. I could not be back within the 2 hour window and so I was charged 2 days rental even though my total time with the rental was less than 24 HRS. In addition, my car was vandalized, presumably by the convenience store / U-Haul representative. It was a complete power struggle over not letting me the consumer have a U-HAUL experience, as outlined by U-HAUL. Mind you, I reserved online. When I initially entered the store, the convenience store U-Haul representative had already ran my credit without my consent! I had reserved with a $0.00 checkout for reservation, had my credit ran without my permission. I would like resolution. The AFM name was Jamal.

Hartlea FawcettWorst experience I had to wait 1 hour for the truck which delayed all of my timeline. I moved to a condo which required booking for access to loading zone, loading hallway directly to private elevator. Due to the delay, I missed the booking slot and had to use the normal entrance amd elevators. I got complaint and a ticket from my condo. I booked a furniture dolly but it wasn't available when pickup the truck so I couldn't move my closets and dressers. I had to spend another day moving and renting truck which I should have been completed in a day. WASTED A LOT OF MY TIME AND MY MONEY

ASHWINDER SINGH GARCHAI had to change my booking twice and finally found a working uhaul at 1225 dundas st east. The booking experience was worst inspite of booking in advance. My initial booking location was showing uhaul available and just 2 days before I got a call that uhaul is not available and I got rescheduled for same day at another location. After completing the online check-in and going to pickup location the uhaul was not available. Then it got rescheduled to another location for pickup where the uhaul was not in working condition and it was breakdown. Then again finally I got rescheduled to 1225 dundas st east location where I was able to pickup and complete my move. All of these mess by uhaul made me delay in my plans and added extreme uncertainty to my carefully planned in advance move. All of my other booking like service elevators were impacted. Overall I dont think I can trust uhaul again given that I booked well in advance and had to visit 3 different locations with utter disappointment from uhaul trucks.

DWAYNE LOPEZI ordered a large dolly and when we picked up the truck they said we don't have dolly in this location. When I booked online it didn't say that. We got in so much trouble to find the dolly for our purpose
Helen ArionAbsolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was going to be charged for two uhauls however there was only one uhaul parked outside. When asked for it to be changed he responded it's my responsibility even though I only booked one u haul. I waited for 45 min while he was continuously serving other customers in the convenient store. He then tried to call uhaul for me but was disconnected. Then after serving at least 10 customers in the store he decided to check his phone again and now noticed the correct order ( that is one uhaul not two) . No customer service at all. I have never felt so neglected and poorly treated!!! He should not be allowed to rent out any u haul in the future. I will never go there again.

GRAYSON ETCOBANEZVehicle was extremely dirty when it was picked up, both in the cab and the bed. I'm talking about food materials, dirty gloves, a magazine, debris all over the ground. Otherwise, an easy process for pick up and drop off.

MICHAEL GIBBSWhen we picked up the store was closed waited for about 15 min (sign said be back in 5) the truck had empty water bottles in the door pocket drove 16 km in total put gas until full and it cost me $31,39 if had known full wasnt actually full i would of put less gas. Had trouble navigating web site guy at desk was more interested in dealing with other customers. I had to get my daughter to come help. All he kept saying to me was take a picture of the dash. Even she had trouble with website Check out took almost an hour.

I've rented from U-Haul before for similar trips and my invoice for my most recent trip was more than double my previous rentals. With gas I paid almost 400$ for an 8 hour rental which is absurd. Definitely a money grab from a subpar sketchy location Not happy and will look at other options in future
