There is no way to differentiate a one way contract vs in-town contract on the website when reserving. Because of this, I ended up paying over $50 more than what I should have even though I tried to change it before the rental started. Prior to picking up the rental (before start of the contract), I called U-Haul to change my drop off location to something closer to my destination. I was told I need to pick up the truck FIRST, then call back 15 minutes after to change drop off location. I confirmed this again before hanging up. I picked up the truck and called back. I was then told there was nothing they could do to change drop off location because I already picked up the truck, and the contract is already locked in. Why was I being told 2 different things? I ended up having to drive 35 extra miles back to drop off, meaning I had to pay over $50 more due to mileage and gas. Seems like U-Haul is trying to scam their customers by locking them into contracts. I would not have picked up the truck if I had known I had to drive it back to the same location to begin with. On top of that, the truck did not have working brake lights (dangerous), and the check engine light was on. Will never recommend U-Haul to anyone.

The truck had 87 000 mikes on and was filthy. Radio didn't work. Had 1/4 of a tank and he did not tell me. Will never go back there.

I was charge for insurance after I explicitly said no insurance. Once I brought it to the attention of the clerk they said that they would have to fix it at the end of my reservation. I got back at the end of my reservation and they said that there was nothing that they could do. The equipment was rusted and the handle wasn't working properly it was just a total disarray. I have used U-Haul for years and this is the worst experience I've ever had.

Wish there was more gravel in the parking yard due to a lot of mud everywhere. Also did not like that half of the yard was closed and was difficult parking the large 26' truck with only one direction to go and trailers placed everywhere the large truck could have parked.

Attendant to help with the trailer didn't speak English. There was a nail in one of the tires on the trailer. Had to get uhaul roadside assistance to help get a new tire put on.

This location had no dollys or blankets. So I had to go to a different uhaul location on my moving day to rent them on a separate contract. It was a big inconvenience.

Muddy inside the cargo van. Plug for lighter/USB cell charger didn't work on drivers side. Address given by U haul rep. for this location didn't match the address on the building nor did the name match.

The employees were 30 minutes late opening up for business, and that was after phone calls made to inquire why they weren't open. The truck has a defective passenger side mirror. Also, the truck had 1/4 tank of gas so we had to fill up before we even got started.

I was sent to this location after the original location I was supposed to go to that was confirmed guaranteed by the U-HAUL representative that contacted me a day before did not have the truck I had reserved, I was sent 7 miles away to this location, the first dolly they gave me had lights that didn't work and they refused to give me the $50 credit I was promised for having to take 2 extra hours and drive across town. Once I arrived the person they had setting up the vehicles had me back the truck into the tow dolly which he screamed at me about as well. This was absolutely the worst maintained and poorest service I have seen from any rental outlet. This makes me never want to rent from U-Haul again.

After the “technician” hooked up my the trailer to my SUV, I walked over and pulled up on the trailer tongue and it completely came off. He never twisted the cam lock on the hitch ball. Trailer install 101 complete failure. Not the first time I've had this happen, but was another location. If there was another option I wouldn't use Uhaul.

The equipment was faulty. This location charged me for an extra day. I was out of money that I didn't plan to spend for food clothing and hygiene essentials. The location was not sympathetic for their mistake at all. I am still waiting on the Regional Managers phone call.

Nothing. We dropped off the truck in a random muddy lot and signed out via Uhaul app and dropped the keys in the box. I left the furniture pads in the back of the truck because I was provided zero direction with what to do with them.

This location didn't have a customer service center or a drop off box for the keys. I had to call another store and their only option was for me to find another uhaul location to return the key to. I will have to call this location during normal business hours to find out what to do with the key that I wasn't able to turn in

Great location for me, but it was a trying experience sad to say. Made the reservation online, but it tells you they can't confirm. Says someone will contact you shorty? Waited days so went by the place I made the reservation for at the time. Booth set up outside with phone number, called. Guy would not come out to talk to me and I had a very hard time hearing with it being along the side of a 8 lane freeway. Finally called them at their central office, talked to Darsey. Very nice and helpful. Reservation was for 5 days. We talked and after a couple calls it was set for a better location then at first. Email confirmation ok then went to pick it up. He seemed to mutter and said 1 day rental.. I stopped him right there and said the reservation was always for 5 days. The amount seemed to change but not by much so just wanted out of there. They had maybe 20 trucks out there and he didn't want to show me at first the one I needed. Get home later and he had changed it to 1 day per the text I got! I called the reservation number at central office and had them look, sure enough he changed it. They changed it back. I hate situations like that, it should have all been simple and a good experience. It was not.

They sold me a lock for the truck that did not fit it. The truck was parked in mud, so I had tires tossing mud for the first part of the trip and while it was in my driveway.

This has been the worst experience. I will definitely be warning friends and family to avoid using this service. I booked a self service uhaul van for October 8th. I arrived at the location but I was confused how to do the self service so I entered the vender office to get help and the man told me he needed the van back at 4pm, which was half the time I reserved it for (I reserved weeks in advance.) I told him that is not possible and then he agreed. He told me he could charge me in the store so I paid $47 dollars for the day. I kept the van until the end of my reservation time, not a minute over. I put less than 10 miles on the van and returned it with a full tank of gas. After doing the return self service steps in the app, the app would not let me complete the return until I paid, and it was quoting me $97. I have no idea why. And remember this is after I already paid the man $47 dollars at the start of the day. I had no choice to pay or it would not let me complete my return. After paying, a week went by and I had not been charged so I though Uhaul had recognized their mistake and voided the payment. Now over a week later, I got charged 124$ with a receipt in my email telling me I put over 100 extra miles on the vehicle! This has been the sketchiest experience I have ever dealt with. DO NOT book with Uhaul in the heights!!!! It is not legit. Of course now I can't get ahold of anyone. So far I have been charged $170 for 1 day with a Uhaul that I drove less than 10 miles.

The brakes on the truck was back The man at the front desk told me the truck had to be back by 6 pm , or I would be charged for additional day But on the receipt, stated it had to be back by 8 pm I actually only had the truck for 2,5 hours The man at desk was not friendly and it was stuck in the mud Totally unacceptable and I will never go to this location ever again!!!!!!

No suggestion; the rental experience was smooth and seamless; equipment was ready when scheduled, hooked up safely and timely, no waiting. Personnel were all courteous and helpful. Will rent from them again.

Equipment was not ready. Trailer's electrical didn't work, so staff had to figure that out & play with the wires for about 30 minutes to get it working. Back of trailer was stuck, so opening & closing it was a nightmare. Also paid for moving blankets that they were out of. Store couldn't figure out return.

Absolutely not. I have been in communication with SEVERAL uhaul employees trying to resolve this issue and I am at my wicks end. I used a trailer on June 15th for about 10 hours. I have been charged a ridiculous amount of times since then for OTHER PEOPLES rentals and toll charges. I am livid. This location has YET to close my ticket even after all the phone calls and emails I have made. I need to be refunded every single dollar I have been charged. These payments have been processed without my authorization several times which is STEALING. I will be contacting the better business bureau to discuss my experience with this location as it has been absolutely miserable. I don't know how many places I can leave reviews to warn other people to save their time, money and sanity to avoid this location at all costs. This is absolutely ridiculous and the worst experience I have ever had with renting moving equipment, but really the worst experience I have ever had as a consumer. Do not give this location your business.

Trucks are not being cleaned and are very dirty. Ants were flying in and out of the vents while driving. A/C unit didn't work. Customer service was not good either. Will not be returning back or recommending this location to anyone.

The lot with the trailer was a mud hole. The trailer was covered in mud and I had to pay to have it cleaned before use. The attendant in the lot could no speak enough English to communicate. The owners seemed very nice, but the place was not to par. Dirty is how I would describe the location. I though U Haul was priced well and super impressed with technology, but not going back to this location for lack of cleanliness.

They were lovely! My only complaint is their address seems to come up on Apple Maps incorrectly, which was frustrating, but they helped us find it when we called and were really helpful once we arrived.

1. Have the trailer lights cable extension repaired before the customer arrives. 2. If the extension needs to be repaired, don't hand the job off to two or three guys sitting around on their coffee break who don't really care when the job is finished. 3. Don't sell crappy 7 contact to 4 contact adapters that that the manager breaks trying to install. 4. Have working lights on all trailers prior to attaching them to the customer's vehicle. 5. Don't call the customer to ask if the equipment has been returned when the trailer has been sitting in the lot for two weeks.

I leased a cargo van with a dolly. The van was clean, easy to drive, easy to load and unload and I did not have to think about anything but getting what I needed done. Perfect experience.

The owners of this location do not listen to the customer's, I walked back inside to get the worker some help. I told the wife your employee outside needs help lifting the trailer. I'm recovering from surgery and can't lift heavy weight, after waiting 10 minutes in the grueling heat with no help. I walked back inside and told them we're still waiting on help from a second person that never showed up. Rude people
