This U-Haul location at 3207 State Route 213, Steubenville, Ohio 43952 is absolutely the best U-Haul service in Steubenville and surrounding area. Crissy and Kaycee are the best in customer service that I had the pleasure to do business with. Not just professional, but genuinely assisting each customer as if the only one, offering exceptional one on one care. Satisfaction with this specific U-Haul service is a great understatement. What can you do to improve for the next customer? Send everyone in the Ohio Valley to State Route 213 in Steubenville, Ohio. Second thing I strongly urge you to do is recognize Crissy for the high customer standards that she provides to All of her customers. The third you should do is have Crissy come to corporate and have har teach All of the other U-Haul associates exactly how and why they should use her customer service style as a pattern for the global U-Haul family. This how you can Improve for the next customer and All customers nationally! Now, what will you do? I strongly suggest implementing the three examples I shared! One more thing, before going to Crissy's store, I used one in Wintersville, Ohio and another in downtown Steubenville Ohio on 4th Street. I will Never use either of these sites again. They need Crissy to show them the way! And this is my ten cents worth.

ERIN KOn the uhaul web site it said I could get an appliance dolly. This location does not offer them. No fault of the locations but it should not be a service offered by the uhaul web site.

William MUnfortunately I had a bad experience from the moment I picked up my 10' truck, it was not prepared and ready to be used so they ended up giving me a different truck. This however made the contract have inaccurate gas and mileage. After being told by the Steubenville manager, Chrissy, that she would fix this discrepancy once her computer was working again I did not hear from her again. I tried calling the office multiple times and left numerous voicemails. I even tried texting her pictures of the mileage and gas like she had told me to do so when I had spoken with her in the office. Unfortunately my calls and messages have all been ignored even though she was aware of this discrepancy and had reassured me in person that she could easily fix it on her end. I am sad to say I had to file a dispute for being overcharged through my bank. I even reached out to U-Haul support via email and no one attempted to look into my case but rather told me that I was charged for the additional miles used. Unfortunately, this representative did not see that he would be correct if my initial start mileage had matched but they do not. He never responded to me after I replied to his email with the corrected info and pictures for verification. So far I have seen a real lack of customer service for U-Haul which is unfortunate since it is a service that is so widely needed and used. Why not make the experience easier and less stressful for the people who are already dealing with the stresses of moving?? I hope this was just an unusual bad experience and not the norm for their customer service. As someone who works in customer service this was truly a mess, disorganized, and left a bad first impression on me.

Nicholas SWe checked out with the mobile app. There was next to no service here. We had to take a picture, then drive up the hill to the church for the picture to send through. We had to make this trip several times. Very inconvenient and took 40 minutes by the time we figured out where the service was and to go through the steps.
Jordan RIt sits in a valley so there's not enough service to do the return process. The process continuously errors out before finally letting you skip it. Feels like they should have a wifi specifically for U-Haul check in/out with the password in the instructions maybe? It wasn't worth the savings of $39 to go to this location to have to walk around trying to get enough service to initiate the return process with no one there.

It wasnt anything crazy but you might wanna get it checked for an alignment. Everything else was pretty alright with the truck itself
Jimmy PThe key didn't fit in the key drop box for after hours and they didn't give me a code for the other boxes. There's patchy cell service and not enough to download the app. Waited 45 minutes to return the key.
Heather KWe rented a van. It was perfect for the task at hand. When trying to return the key in the night drop provided by the front door, there was no way the fob could fit inside the long skinny holes. Checked the side doors too, but nothing was available. Must've spent about 45 minutes outside trying to get ahold of someone at the 800 U-Haul number provided, just trying to get information about what I should do with this key. In the end I was instructed to leave the key under the front seat and leave the van unlocked, peculiar, but that's what I did. I was quite surprised that someone, close by, isn't on call for special circumstances like this. Cameras or no cameras, this is a risky procedure that could have been easily avoided by a proper lock box for fobs, and/or, a representative reporting to the establishment to secure the key and the van. Merci!
