Didn't have an appliance dolly after I rented one online. Maybe make sure all locations have them.

Darian B.It would be great if using a truck multiple days, we could have the option to add or remove the extra insurance. We had the truck 3 days and didn't need the extra insurance for 2 of those days. We were informed we were not able to drop it. It sat in our driveway for 2 days as we unloaded.
Victoria K.WD-40 the tie down ratchets, had hexx of a time releasing tension to remove strap from mechanism. U-Haul needs to change info for hitch ball size. Rep. said female on tow dolly should work fine with either 1-7/8 or 2 " hitch balls. I have a 1-7/8 ball I have used for years, tried to push dolly under front wheels of a 2012 Fiat. Hitch jumped off an up and damaged my tailgate. Had to send for a 2" ball to enable me to complete hook up prior to transport.

JAMES M.You can try to make sure the trailers have tie down location in them like they are advertising. My 6x12 trailer should have had 6 tie down spots but 2 of them had been pulled off and the 2 in the middle of the trailer we're loose. The wood around the front of the trailer had also been peeled away from the trailer. Rented a trailer 2 days before and had no problem hauling 3 bikes to a car show. Go to leave with a different trailer and had to tow one of the show bikes on a friends open deck flat bed. Don't think uhaul will be reimbursing me for the $2k in cleaning we will have to get it ready for the next show. I guess I learned a lesson to always check the inside of the trailer before you leave the pickup spot
JUSTIN M.The truck needs an alignment. It wanted to go to the right the entire trip, even before loading. The whole way I kept a leftward pressure on the steering column to keep the truck in the lane.

ANDREA M.I took each U-Haul back and cleaned 1 to 2 hrs early. The man double charged me. Yelled at me and banned me from his store and flagged me. After he illegally took money from my account which I had saved up to take my mom on one last vacation. Over 1 000 bucks for 3 days I have started a lawsuit against them. This is the one on 213 hill in steubenville Ohio. Please do not use this place. He is mean and a their and takes advantage of women. The poor girl who worked there knew we did everything right but couldn't speak up cuz he would fire her! It's a shame what they did!!! And they should pay for it and will!!!!!!

AMBER F.Trailer lights did not work. The pigtail on the trailer had been drug to the point it was filed down and unusable. They swapped it out and lights worked. I rented a 6X12 trailer but the rear ramp and opening was only 57". It was 3 inches less than 5 ft. What I was hauling was 5ft wide. It would not fit the rear opening so the trailer was useless. Upon returning the trailer I was charged 2 times for the one day rental. When I brought it up I was told that I would have to go thru my bank to get a refund and or it's between me and Uhaul. I'm waiting for the outcome of this!!!
BRENT C.My bill was much greater then what my original online statement quoted. Your retailer store could not answer any questions and kept telling me for every question I asked to call Uhaul there is nothing she can say or do. The Uhaul was filthy inside the cab when I picked it up. I actually took pictures. Both seats were covered in dog or cat hair. There was hand prints and something spilled on the inside of the drivers side and passengers side windshield. I had to wash the inside windshield to properly see. There were cut finger or toe nails on the floor and stuck in the air conditioner vents. I am very displeased, feel I am owed money back and not happy with the service.

The man at the 1st Uhaul place on 7th St. did arrange for a van at 3207 S.R. 213 for me. It worked out but took up time and added an extra trip because the van did not hold as much as a truck would have. The van was clean however my sister rented a 20 ft. truck a couple of weeks before from the same place, 3207 S.R. 213, and it was filthy.

Receptionists are nice and efficient, but they are subject to untreatable bosses. At the beginning they were reasonable, but then after, they became mean.

Edward B.The truck was maintained but it was not clean when I rented it initially so I didn't think that cleaning would be an extra charge at the end of my rental. Not only that but the lady that was working when I rented to begin with did not mention anything what so ever about charges other than make sure the fuel is full or u-haul will charge you like 4 times what the gas price really is and the daily fee of 19,95 plus the 0,79 per mile plus the taxes. I made sure to do everything that was instructed to avoid extra charges or penalties. I turn in the truck and as I'm on my way home my debit card reads for an extra $25 added for cleaning fee that WAS NOT MENTIONED AND IT WAS NOT DIRTY ANYMORE THAN WHAT IT WAS UPON THE RENTAL TO BEGIN WITH!! I asked her if there is anything I need to know period beforehand because this is the first time Ive ever went through this company and this is all new to me,...she failed to mention they scam you at the end!!

I've rented several times, not here, but over the years. Not for about 7 years. I parked, locked it up, and put the key in the box before I ever looked at my phone so the returned truck link was a big stress on an already stressful day!
MICHELLE R.In October I noticed that someone had damaged my 2019 forest river wildwood by driving thier lawn mower too close to the unit and subsequently pushed the latch thru the fiberglass storage door.i notified the management.not only did the not address the situation,they completely ignored it, effectively using "cancell culture" to cancel me.typicall rude millennials.these people are two faced and basically scumbags. I wouldn't store a bag of garbage with these scoundrels
