First of all the truck smelled like rotten cheese even with airing out with the windows down was still terrible. Secondly, they didn't put what I ask for when adding supplies online... Third but absolutely not lease they charge me extra 2 days later. Not acceptable and they are rip offs. Thank goodness I always keep an eye on my credit cards! Keep away from this particular uhaul location. I should have known the first appearance of a ran down suck place I would come into problems. Do not do yourself a disservice, stay away from this run down service of thieves!!

The uhaul personnel was 30mns late for my appointment and delivered the uhaul with less than 1/8 of a tank. This delayed my operation extending my moving process causing my storage facility to be closed by the time I got there. I was 3mns too late and had no choice to leave my things in the uhaul and reconvene at a later time, which with my work schedule took 3 days. This was a huge inconvenience and a costly one, I will never use Uhaul again !

Rented a truck it was not cleaned out had debris and plastics inside but didn't make an issue it was for moving. Returned the vehicle swept it and actually had a broom and dust pan in my hand at the return. Employee stated I was going to be charged $25 for a cleaning and called someone to see if it was rented that way. The person said no but they havd no photos of how it was rented and forced charged $25 on my card.... I totally felt scammed and have very little recourse.

The employee was friendly but inefficient, and in spite of having a reservation, I had to wait about 30 minutes for him to find the right truck, get permission for it to be released, and get my information inputted into the system. I noticed as I drove off the lot that the gas tank was empty even though it had been recorded on my contract as partly full. The vehicle was in good condition, but the cargo bed was dirty. If renting from here again, I would be careful about making sure the vehicle was as promised before leaving the lot.

I fueled the van back about 5/6 blocks from the location to 1/2 tank where they say it was, and they charged me for gas saying it was below, and to be perfectly honest I got it a little below the half sign and I didn’t make it a fuss when I took he van.

The prices charge by U-Haul is basically a scam. Purchase a van for one day at $19 and ended up paying $179. Travel 57 miles return at Van in approximately six hours. Would never go through U-Haul again.

The truck was terribly dirty and smells like fish. Right now, all my furnitures and mattresses are smelling like fish. The location is extremely filthy. The attendant has the worst customer service I have ever seen in any business in my entire life. When I returned the truck, it took him a long time to process my receipt. While I am waiting for him, he was on the lhone talking with his girlfriend and worst of all, I had it on speaker phone and I could here te entire conversation. When I asked him to hurry up and process my receipt, he told me I was wasting his time. He claimed he has sent the receipt to my email bit when I checked, there was no receipt in my email box. I insisted on a hard copy receipt because when I picked up the truck, he claimed he sent the contract to my email but he didn't. So I couldn't trust him this time again and that is why I insisted he printed out a hard copy receipt for me. Than he asked me to pay him a dollar in order to get my receipt. Honestly, if it was possible to grade this location at a minus, I would have done that. I will not recommend anyone to use this location and if my opinion matters, I will advice Uhaul to shut it down. I have been using Uhaul for more than 10 uears now and this is the first time I ever saw such a thing. This location is extremely terrible. Please Uhaul, do something about it else you will loose all your business.

The area manager as well as the manger are both unprofessional....the manager charges what ever he wants ....THEY NEED TO CLOSE DOWN AND BE INVESTIGATED....I NOTIFIED CONSUMER AFFAIRS AND THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU....THEY ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED ...SENT EMAIL AFTER A WHOLE MONTH STATED I OWE OUTSTANDING BALANCE UNDERCOVER NEED TO BE SENT HERE . give the time to explain to customers about everything before renting, he was my first time and the guy did not even take the time to give me the details apart from telling me after the rental fees $19.95, I had to pay only mileage and fuel. but on my return I was surprised to have been charged $ 45 more after just 5 miles????

Uhaul needs to shut down this location. Majority of the bad reviews are saying this same thing. They are scamming people. They add on the insurance without asking and then have the NERVE to dispute the charges after you realize. I reserved a 9'cargo van. When I made the reservation online i declined the insurance. When I get their the lady at the counter says only asked for my license and debit card. I assumed everything was ok. She told me they would "hold" $82.00 until return. I didn't think anything of it because I figured since I was using a debit card they held extra. When I returned the vehicle, the manager tells me I could leave he truck and go. He was on a personal call and had me standing there waiting for almost 5 min without addressing me. I finally told him I need a final bill. He then took his sweet time walki g to the truck to nit pick bout 3 pieces of plastic left in the truck prior to me renting. I took them out and he said my final charge is $68. I said to him for what he said, the daily charge, mileage and fees. SO when I went back into the room they call an office he then explains there is a charge for insurance. I said I didn't ask for it. He said what would you use for insurance I said I did not need it since I was literally moving something about 10 blocks from each location. He said well you can't decline insurance on a cargo van. I said I was able to decline it online when I made the reservation; besides it was never mentioned t the time of check-in. I want my $25.00 back!!!!. He then proceeded to highlight the contract...I said sir whats the use of highlighting AFTER the fact. I didn't want it then and damn sure don't want to pay for it now. HE told me to come back when the lady is present because she can state what took place during the transaction. I will be returning tomorrow and can almost guarantee she will have amnesia. A bunch of crooks!!!!! Look at the previous reviews, you will see the similarities.

The manager from this location is very unprofessional I returned my rental I still have not received my receipt for my rental the manager told me I’m good just leave and he will check me later I went back there the next day waiting for 45 minutes to get a receipt and final payment the worker that was ther that day didn’t have a clue was going on she was final able to pull up my information she told me about my charges I was so disappointed still didn’t receive a receipt i would never recommend someone going there the manger is scamming the customer

It seems that this location is operated by a two person crew. The owner and a lady staffer. This woman is unprofessional, extremely rude and a liar. She talks to me and others while I was in the office in a condescending manner. She makes things up in order to up sell or make you the customer feel that she is doing you a favor. For example she told me that only credit cards are accepted but she would try to make an exception . However I will need to take additional insurance, and there will also be additional fees added because of my debit card. I told her that I just used my card a few days before at this location when the gentleman was behind the counter. she became enraged. I will not recommend this location to anyone. This lady needs to be replaced for Uhaul name sake and reputation. I know that these Uhaul locations are independently operated, however some people may not be aware of this. Therefore her behavior and poor disposition will stop renting from Uhaul.

To begin with, the agent was trying to complete two rentals simultaneously, with wasn’t appreciated because I was first and my transaction could have been faster. When he was finished, he gave me the keys and said the van is out there. After I searched and found the van, it was blocked in by the agents vehicle, so I had to go back to the office and get him to let me out. That I’m itself was unnecessary time I had to spent there. He gave me the incorrect pricing for the insurance coverage, and it’s been over 3 days and he haven’t sent my receipt as he promised.

When I reserved a 10 ft truck days before pickup, they did not have the reserved truck on site, not only for me but for many other people. There was a long wait, just to be told that my reservation was useless!! And the additional fees were not relayed to me before or while picking up the van I didn't reserved instead of the truck! It prohibited me from having enough time to take my things to the storage unit. My husband was able to get the manager to exchange the van for a ten footer, but we couldn't access the storage unit because it closes early! The manager didn't give me a receipt upon return of the truck either! It was an all around horrible experience! I willl NEVER go there again or recommend uhaul to anyone!

Thief thief the young lady told me even if I'm late but not pass 4pm I wouldn't be charged for whole day just for the mileage... I was charged for a day extra eventhough I was 20mins late pass the hour to return the truck.... train for employee on company polices I would not recommend this place to anyone you should be reported to better bureau for false information!!!!!

i returned the equipment clean and more gas than at pickup. later an additional sum was deducted from my accunt, even Ipaid the full charge anf returned equipment on time. then an additional sum was deducted for tolls even though ai paid my own tolls bothways. refund me those bogus chargees and treat the next customer fairly.

My email confirmed Jamaica address for 7:30 AM. When I arrived, the place wasn't open until 9:00AM. The place was sketchy and have told my friends not to rent uhaul from there. Has a representative from UHaul ever been to that location. The gentleman seemed nice. He said it will be a few minutes ago the truck can be cleaned. When I went to the truck... There was still a McDonald's cup in the cup holder and a few other things on the floor. I guess if I am doing round trip I get the nice U-Haul locations but if it is a 1 way trip I get the ghetto ones.

My discomfort is not primarily with this location as the agent was excellent at his work. I was scheduled for 830am pick up location at another location and upon arrival I realized that the location was closed. I had to drive wasting miles, time and gas. Moreover, the customer service seems as though they had the morning drag because I was transferred at least 4times.

This wasn’t the original location I requested but was forced to go here due to the truck I requested wasn’t available at my location of choice. I arrived at the location to see not only the truck I requested was not available but the hand truck as well was gone. The owner never called and notified me that the order was canceled yet uhaul called me to notify the location changed but not about a change to my order. Not the best experience.

It was an unpleasant experience. The person who treated me was without education and neighborhood. I did not see any formality in the process, there was nothing of formality, everything was thrown away and the person did not release his personal phone. I never provided good customer service. the truck extremely dirty and stinky both in the place of the driver and back where the load is mounted. We also wanted a one-way service because that's what your service says on the internet and it was not correct. Extremely car service. I do not recommend it

When a customer comes in and states that they rented a vehicle on the app. The clerk should just check that info instead of trying to do their normal routine, then state that you cannot pay through the app. Educate yourself on your own products and services
