Truck had coffee stains all over interior cab, and the box was full of mud/dirt. Truck also only had 1/4 tank of fuel available. Employees were friendly, but were not experienced in the U-Haul pickup/drop off procedures and I had to push to get the exit inspection complete. I was not told about the pre inspection link I would receive by text, and the employee did not go out to inspect the truck on drop off

The attendant was late arriving at location over 1 hour and 15 minutes from booked time of 10 AM. Sais he was late due to renovations in personal house. Said I could bring back vehicle 1 hour later, but this was not suitable for me. I needed tyhr vehicle at 10 AM, not at 11:15AM

The morning shift person was really helpful and wasnt lazy, i would give him 5 stars. But, the afternoon shift person was really lazy. He made me go back to get the kms and fuel pictures. From what i recall, dont a u-haul representative go out and take pictures of the kms and fuel and inspect the vehicle? He made me do it. So, this is why im giving this place 1 star.

HighEnd Convenience saved the day when we discovered first thing on a Sunday morning that our original location (Athlone Convenience) wasn't open. Either U-Haul needs to update their system to properly reflect location hours or Athlone Convenience staff members need to show up on time. We've used HighEnd Convenience in the past and they are highly reliable. Keep up the great work!

i understand it was a uhaul dealership and not an actual location but this was the worst experience i have ever had. not only was the sales person or cashier incredibly rude but also so unprofessional. my u-haul pick up location got moved THREE times, each time farther and farther away. when we got to the location Highend Convenience at 6504 170 avenue, he proceeded to tell us the other customer still has not returned the truck. and flat out told me it's not his problem, he didn't try to call the other customer, he had such a rude attitude towards us when the moving day was already stressful enough. there was a 15 ft in the parking lot and it took him almost 20 minutes to give me the truck. when i got into the truck there was tissues all over, there was a pop bottle, i didn't take pictures because i was already on a time crunch but i was absolutely furious and will be trying to get a full refund for the behaviour. i had to fight to even be charged for the 10 ft i was supposed to get and that was an issue but i did only pay for that. but again, never will i use u-haul again for moving. it was atrocious

When we went to return the truck and pay, we were figuring out which card to use when the guy working charged the card without asking. When asked why he did that when we didn't authorize it, he argued and said he didn't need our authorization. When I tried to explain why I was upset considering I didn't sign any authorization to use my card, and I had wanted to use a different credit card, he cut me off, talked over me, refused to listen and was just absolutely the rudest person I have ever dealt with. I will make sure no one I know ever returns to that location specifically because of him, and if that's the type of service that U-Haul endorses, I'll just go on kijiji next time.

The 10-foot van was just perfect for our needs today (hauling old mattresses and furniture to the Big Bin Event). Price was reasonable and staff was friendly and efficient. I would use the service again when the need arises in the future.

Staff friendly. Pricing good. Problem with the online booking. Booked dollies and blankets. When I picked up the truck, I was told "we don't have them. This is a Satellite outlet." Moving day is too late to find this out.

3 weeks ago I booked a 15 U-Haul for the 28th at 7:30am at 21818 Stony Plain Rd, Edmonton, AB T5S 2C3 when I got there they said that I was not on the computer and didn't do there job right I made sure to save one and they forgot about me then they found one at 6504 170 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5Y 3X6 that was a longer drive and they made sure to put me on the computer they said that it open at 8am when I got there the guy was 10 minutes late and because of the long drive that I had no choice the u-haul cost me 160$ because the first one didn't do it right so I'm not happy at all

Not impressed at all. The vehicle interior was very dirty - this vehicle should not have been rented. The rental process was also frustrating - I uploaded images of my drivers licence and yet the agent had to do it all over again. The process wasn't explained (vehicle inspection, mileage check etc) - I had to figure it out. Returning the car was the same incompetent process as the agent almost refused me to settle using a different credit card (a first in my 30 years of renting vehicle). I give this location an F!

I had really bad experience when I returned the U Haul. The dealer charged me $40 for the fuel without telling me that he charges. When I asked him why he is charging me $40 for the fuel he said that the fuel is little low. I explained him that fuel is exactly same level when I got the truck and as a proof I showed him the pictures when I took the truck and returned it. He saw pictures and said I cannot do anything because I have closed the contact. He was very rude with me and said I can call U Haul corporate office if I have any issue and I can argue with them. During the whole conversation he was not ready to listen to me and was keep interrupting me when I tried to explain. I contacted the corporate office of U Haul and I sent them the pictures. They were able to tell right away that I should not have paid extra $40 for the fuel and they issued me a refund right away. Good thing that I took pictures of the meter, otherwise I didn't have any proof and the would have kept my $40.

Your website sucks, switched me over to another location without me knowing. I also opted out of the insurance for $30 and ended up being charged for it. The website isn't easy, too much upselling.

It was a busy location but didn't really feel like more staff was nessiary. Staff member who helped me was patient kind and healpful with last minute rental. The truck dash was dirty was only real complaint and only for fear of being stuck with extra cleaning bill really but of course civic .but nothing super bad mostly dusty and dirty cup holder

Everything was good. I am not used to drive with imperial odometer and in Canada people usually drive vehicle with metric odometer. Needs to calculate speed in km to stay within allowing limit.

Overall a good experience, quick service and were very fair with what I was charged after I overfilled with fuel. Inside of truck cab could have been cleaner, there were used masks and tissues and smelled like cigarette smoke.

When the truck says 0,99 it should be in km not SURPISE we're charging you for miles because the truck is in miles. And I called and asked what the deposit was and was told no deposit or credit card and when I got there there was a 150$ charge on my card. And 1,59 a MILE. it's I'm in Canada and vehicle should be changed over. Ya I should have noticed but was not told about miles. Not impressed 250$ later when i only went about 100 km or less.

Better signage showing that it's a U Haul business. You cans barely see the small sign on window. Cashier should also refrain from being on the phone while dealing with customer. Very rude

The truck was dirty, the temperature the day I rented the truck was 40 degrees Pulse and the air condition was not working. I had to pick the truck up at a convenience store and not a regular U Haul location. Still have not received my receipt

They are a "third party" location and will serve their customers first, even if you wait in line. They will make you wait until the store is empty. Had to leave and come back to return vehicle, waited 10 minutes in line and then was told I had to wait longer until all their personal customers were served.

The unit was clean in the cab although there was a partial bag of dog food in the cab and a significant smell of smoke. When I got the van home and opened the back, it had what appeared to be tree and straw debris and smelled like manure. After I swept the back out then blew it out and sprayed air freshener many times I was able to start loaded, but the smells in the cab and cargo area persisted. I did notify management as soon as I observed the back of the van and upon return I did receive a slight discount, although initially that was not the owners first choice.

Ordered furniture pads, utility dolly, and furniture dolly but were not in uhaul when I picked it up. Had to return to location but they only had utility dolly. The clerk was friendly but seemed to have no idea what I ordered.

When talking to dispatch, we were supposed to be able to pick up the uhaul truck at 8am and confirmed twice with the rep that it would be open at 8am. We sat in the parking lot until 9am when the store actually opened. The phone line to call, etc, was busy for up to 20 minutes when I called from the parking lot to try and determine how to pick the truck up. I then was transferred from one agent to another and sat on hold for another 20 minutes. Very poor communication and ability to speak with an agent.

Unfortunately our experience yesterday was brutal from start to finish. Our pick up originally was booked for 11 am at the 24/7 location south east Edmonton. There was no truck available when we arrived. The associate told us that we need to go to the other side of the city (north west) to pick up a truck as that was the only one available. We got on the phone with a representative from Uhaul that ensured us we would get a $50 credit and 50 free kilometres for our trouble. When we arrived at the north location the associate had no idea how to process our contract. We were there for close to 2 hours as she had trouble with understanding English and proceeded to charge us full price. We were on the phone with a rep by the name of John who then transferred us to another rep to discuss our charges. The associate was confused, flustered and at 2 points directed her computer screen to us so we could help her complete the transaction. As we had to get back to the other side of town to do a move I signed off on a contract as she didn't know how to fix it. We were blown away at the lack of professionalism and lack of knowledge she had to complete what should have been a simple 10 minuite transaction. When we returned the truck that evening(to the north side) the new associate said he was charging an additional $200 for mileage. Come Monday morning I will be calling Uhaul as I have no idea what kind of charges will be on my visa. This was a total nightmare experience from beginning to end. Theresa Crawley

Hello, the representative that dealt with this service was horrid. I arrived early to pick up the truck and left 30mins later, I arrived early to drop off the truck and waited nearly 30 minutes to be told I would receive a call. I was called three different times and each time I was put on hold or hung up on by the representative. I was overcharged for a dolly and pads that I never received the truck was entirely empty and the representative was the one who took these items off and I was informed I would not be charged for them. Please rectify this issue.

My request was to pick up a van in my city, Ft Saskatchewan AB. The original request went through and I was told this would be the pick up and delivery location. When I checked in on the website, the location was changed to another city location 40 Km away. I had to pay extra for 80 Km travel just to pick up and deliver the van. When I arrived, the person running the convenience store had very little idea what they were doing. They also had to stop every few minutes to wait on convenience store customers. The whole system is pretty much a failure to me and I will be trying to avoid ever using U-Haul again.

Some of the attendants down not know what they're doing. . The first day I went to book for reservation, I could not be help and was blamed on Uhaul system. After getting it done the second day, I had a confirmation but the day I went for the vehicle, it took the lady extra 40 mins before I could get the vehicle and I was late for what I needed it for. Poor servives
