No improvements needed. I did in person check in. Customer service was exceptional, both the cab and cargo bay were very clean, and no problems with any of the equipment.Carl L.
The driver door does not closed properly. Heard wind and engine noise all the way. And the cigarette chargers on the dash board were not working. Thank God the one in the glove compartment was working. An overall maintenance check should be done on all trucks before renting them, especially if they are going long distances. Apart from the issues above, the truck ran well. Merci encore!Lenford A.

A short trip to pick up a table cost me 180 $. Ridiculously expensive. Before I took the van there was 0 information of the cost. I don't think I would recommend anyone at this point. The van was super clean and the staff were pleasant! When I returned the van that's when I was told that I had to pay a different rate because it was a Saturday. The customer service on the 800 number was not helpful. Did everything on line and was screwed around with pick up time and brought it back a day earlier. The pick up place personally called me and got me set up to the right time. And not what the 800 number did. I will personally go thru the place and not the web site. The manager at the pickup place was so helpful just not your website.Tommy E.

This place specifically stated a 50 $reservation guarantee, but when I arrived to pick up my reserved vehicle, it was not available. I was then assigned a truck of different size and then re-assigned a different sized truck again. I spoke via live chat and on the phone and was told only a supervisor could input the 50 $credit, and the supervisor would be notified and follow up. Never received a follow up and the representative was very rude and unhelpful. If U-Haul offers a reservation guarantee, they should keep it and honor their word.Jefferson L.

There was some heavy snow on the roof of the truck. I took off what i could , but could not get to most of it. While driving om the highway, some flew off and caused a car behind me to swerve Although no one was hurt they surely could have been.MIKE W.

Train the the people that are working for you instead of getting frustrated with a customer and hanging up because they couldn't find our truck for 6 hours the truck was supposed to be available at 9 a.m. in Bloomingdale New Jersey .we wound up going way out of her way to Sussex New Jersey at 4 to pick up a truck delaying our move a day. U-Haul customer representative gave us four different locations that our truck would be at and when we called those locations they knew nothing about it finally we got a truck in Sussex New Jersey an hour of driving out of our way. Highlands wine storage in Franklin New Jersey where the best people I ever had to deal with they had our truck at 9 a.m. did not know we needed that truck and they waited for us to pick it up and they actually apologize for U-Hauls mess up I give Hyland's wine storage in Franklin New Jersey a five star ratinglorraine S.

The location was great! However it took 45 minutes to upload my information into your app. Totally unsatisfied! Cost me time and labor for my loaders to wait at my site! In this day and age of digital applications this should never happen! Highlands location rep was very frustrated and said the beach location of U-Haul was absolutely no help! The woman in the office was super helpful, professional and personable. She was very quick with doing the necessary paperwork when I got there to rent the truck. I had a problem with my movers being late, so I could get the truck back at the time I agreed to. She then gave me until noon the next day to get it back at no extra charge. She was super nice and that was great that she was able to help me in that situation.Jennifer M.

Improve the online check out procedure. Was on the phone with customer service for one hour trying to complete the check out before the facility opened the doors, which I ultimately had to wait for. Very exasperating check out process.Steve C.

I was supposed to pick up the equipment close to home, but got a call saying I needed to travel 45 minutes to pick up the equipment. Dropping off the equipment, I was able to drop it off close to my house, but when I arrived at the location, they said â€œjust back it up over there somewhereâ€. No assistance was offered. I had to back up a huge trailer in a very tight parking lot and disconnect the heavy trailer all by myself.Jose T.
