I had to pick up the truck on a Sunday and they were closed. My experience with U-Haul customer service was horrible because I had to have like five references to be able to rent the truck which made no sense. It took me about 45 minutes to check in and get the trunk and be able to drive. Utterly ridiculous
Sarah DEverything went seamlessly! No recommendations to improve needed! Reserved on-line, checked in at the business. Used the truck as needed, returned it early after hours,no problems. Owner of the business was very nice!

ginger bDrop off was closed wen I got there. Just parked and dropped off the key. It was fine I suppose. Really think about having cruise control in every vehicle you buy from now on.

Peter GJust needed a rental car, none available within 60 miles, so we decided to rent a truck, a pick-up would have been sufficient but ended up with a 15' box truck. Much more than needed but it got us to where we were going. Thanks U-Haul

Hiram RDolly and furniture pads/blankets were not in the truck as stated they would be. Called the help # and guy said he was out of town and didn't know what to tell me.
Anna WI was called and asked to pick up a vehicle in another location which was farther away resulting in more than 20 dollars of charges that I wouldn't have been charged had I been able to pick up the vehicle I made reservation for. Glad I don't move often.

DEBORAH PEXTREMELY disappointed and upset with your app. If the manager hadn't stayed past closing time (he was aware of the app's problems) I would have been stranded. If you are going to pick the place I need to pick up then straighten out your app that tried to put me in St Louis!

Trina SReturning my truck was fast and simple. I used the online touchless return, and the key drop box was easy to find. Really appreciated being able to return my truck without interacting with other people during this COVID-19 health crisis. While the truck wasn't deep cleaned/disinfected prior to my renting it, I performed disinfection of touched surfaces upon return, so I know the truck was safe for the next family to use. Thank you for making drop off simple and touchless.
GRACE BThe two gentlemen running the hillsboro location were polite. However my overall experience with uhaul was a complete disaster. I was bounced around 3 different locations to get a rental. Was promised the second location was secured and ready and nobody was even at the location. All sorts of deals and discounts were promised only to get charged additional fees after being told i didnt need to pay anymore out of pocket. The additional fees became a burden and put additional hardships on my family. I would not recommend uhaul to a homeless man. There are much better options available with more reliability. Ive had to jump through hoops to get this settled and I'm still waiting days after my promised refund. Uhaul as a company itself is a complete disaster and not worth the effort. If you need a truck that bad go elsewhere.
John TI was overcharged. I was charged for 2 dollies that were not in the truck when I picked it up. $7/day per dollie for a total of around $70. I called to get a refund and no one will help me.
Kami HWasnt sure they even knew i was at counter even though i was only one there. Staff was in need of "happy pills". They were as personable as a empty soda bottle.
DAKOTA RWe received a text in the afternoon that our requested truck size was only available at a location further away, adding 1 hr to our driving. Then we had a phone call from the pick up location wanting our arrival time since they were closing soon. Probably won't do business with them again. Employee at the pickup place barely spoke to us.
Casey OWhen I asked about the possibility that I might need additional days, it was explained that it would only be an additional daily charge. I was not aware that it may also include a fee of $50 for each reservation after mine at the drop off location that could not be fulfilled if I still had the truck. I was also told that all mileage was included but that was not accurate.
Darcy RReturned vehicle using the convenient 24 hour drop off feature. Just a few pictures and then placed the key in their drop box. Simple and fast.
