Dolly was not available for me to use. Business hours are incorrect. Phone service at this location makes 24/7 rental difficult. Directions to not leave personal vehicle on property should have been communicated PRIOR TO arriving to pick up rental. Location requested by site management for uhaul dropoff is dangerous at night.Jason D.

Insure mirrors are not loose so they won't change positions every time you hit a bump. I was finally able to fix the mirrors in Wyoming. This flaw increased my travel from 2 1/2 days to almost 5 because I had to stop constantly to adjust them. And, an odor was present when my sister in law said it was a rat (actually a mouse) so the odor was present for days. Additionally, this location was aware that my movers were unloading me on the 18th and I would need the truck for an additional day. The drop off location called me the morning of the 17th looking for the truck and I explained the situation. I informed him that my movers were coming the following morning at 8:30 and I could bring them the truck directly after. I was informed that it needed to be returned by 9:00am or I would be charged for another day, which they did. I have been using U-Haul for years and have spent over 5 000 $in trucks and boxes the last year and a half. But if this is what I am to expect from your company, I will try your competitors.Diane M.

A sign should say â€œPlease place after- hours drop offs in this areaâ€-I was told I placed after hours drop off in the middle of driveway and I did not, I was careful to place it next to the building so it would not be in the way-backing a car carrier to me is difficult, and did the best I could.John D C.

1. Uhaul size we reserved a month ago was not available, so we were upgraded at same cost. Did not need that big if a truck. 2. The truck was on flat empty. Prayed we make it to closest gas station. 3. We rented 12 blankets and they were so dirty. They had dried leaves matted into them.Wade B.

The pickup location was fine. The equipment was fine. My problem is with U-Haul. I rented the trailer at the last minute because my husband found out when he arrived that he had been a victim of identity fraud. We have battled this before with UHaul and nobody else. His name is Paul Stevens. I hope it is resolved now as we will be needing to rent a trailer again very soon. We apparently won't know if it's cleared up until we arrive to pick up the trailer so the same situation may result.Wendy M.

The Uhaul had a water leak in the top of the unit in which leaked via rain and messed up my kitchen table. When bringing it to the attention to Holden's Uhaul service employee I was met with, â€œOh did you take pictures of the leak before you took possession of the unit?â€ Which I didn't because the toll up door hid the leaking spot when the door was up. I bought the insurance also and the employee said I don't know if that's going to cover the damage to your possessions which the policy clearly states up to 5 000 $coverage to personal possessions and the vehicle. I argued with the employee about it and she said that she would upload the pictures to my contract which she never did. So I paid close to 200 $in insurance to protect my possessions and am met with resistance when bringing it to their attention. Still no response and they are continuing to rent the vehicle out to other customers...MICHAEL G.
The truck was clean but had a "half-dollar" size rock chip on the windshield, just below driver's eye level. The app would not let us add a photo of the damage. We tried several times. We had the person on duty come out and verify the rock chip before taking the vehicle.James B.

My paperwork said to return truck to a location different from the pickup location. Received a phone call (from rental location) telling me that â€œI DROPPED IT OFF AT WRONG LOCATION AND I WAS GOING TO BE CHARGED UNLESS I BROUGHT IT BACK TO THEMâ€. They tried to goad me to retrieve truck and return to them. They obviously had it re-rented and had no one to go pick it up. SHAME ON YOU.NED F L.

The location to pick up my truck was too far from my house, over an hour away. The pick up confirmation I got was for the Uhal next to my house. I was never informed they did not have the truck. Also, it is impossible to contact Uhal by phone. Terrible customer serviceCarlos R.

In the midst of COVID-19. Take the Clorox Complete Clean Pledge protocol. Disinfect and wipe down the vehicle. Place disinfectant wipes in the vehicle. Ensure all lights on vehicle and Tow trailer are operating. Update your vehicles.Cynthia H.

Did online reservation and payment still had to go into a small understaffed location where no one was wearing masks. I did online to to avoid this very experience. This is not the choice I wanted to pick up my Uhaul. I'm not sure if this location has ever used online reservations because I had to go through all the questions and requests I already did through the Uhaul app.This was a slow, antiquated, and publicly unsafe location.Edna L.
Holdens was great! HOWEVER I had to call them after I showed up to Tulane Ave store in New Orleans with a reservation and told my equipment was at a location on the Westbank. I went to that location, stood in line and was told even though I had a reservation, they had no vehicles. So, I was SOL. How can you have a reservation and not have a truck? If I ever rent a Uhaul again, which is highly unlikely, I will rent through Holdens in Covington, LA.DAVID G.

The whole back of the truck had 2 packing peanuts and I get hit with a no sweep fee. No parking for U-Haul customers with threats to tow vehicle which makes sense because the U-Haul is housed in a wrecking business just overall bad serviceMatthew R.

I am an 80 year old and there was no one to help me hook up the trailer. The trailer is too heavy for people to pick up. I had to pay a man 10 $to help me. That sure is not customer service. The lot is so full of pot holes and muddy a person's feet get wet and muddy. Other places help the customers. How can they get by not having someone to take care of these things.billy W.
