The back of the truck was not cleaned out. There was mud, leaves, water and gold tees in the back, which I had to sweep out. Uhaul charges 25 $for not sweeping out the back, yet this location was only able to refund me 15 $for the inconvenience, AFTER the manager tried to give me nothing. I expect Uhaul to deduct an additional 10 $from my bill as 25 $is what I would be charged if a Uhaul employee had to do it, which they did not, so my rebate should reflect that. If my bill is not reduced by an additional 10 $I will be disputing the charges with my credit card company. I have spent thousands of dollars with Uhaul over the last 15 years and will continue to do so, IF I receive my rebate. If not, I'm happy to go to Penske or Rider instead.Andrew R.

This location was 32 kms out of our way to pick up the UHaul. Upon calling UHaul to see if we could get a location change, as many people I knew in my area (even down the street, and moving to the same location that I was) were getting UHauls from much closer locations, UHaul told me that the farther location was the only pickup location used in my area. It made 0 sense. When we went to pick up the UHaul, they informed us that someone had taken our UHaul by mistake the night before and had to drive it back. We also had paid for a dolly but did not receive said dolly and have not been refunded.Aidan C.

Well, this was the original location I was suppose to pick up my uhaul and now I just received a bill saying I owe money because of extra kilometers which was not my fault...unreal!SHAUN P.
The location was great, however we were extremely disappointed that we reserved a 15 foot truck and were given no option but to take a 26 foot less than 24 hours in advance. We were not comfortable driving this truck and it made for overall a very stressful and frustrating situation and experience with UHaul.Craig T.

I asked to pick up a 20 foot truck in Kentville, NS and was told two days prior I would be picking up in Windsor, NS (out of the way) but we were told KMs would be added at no extra price so we wouldn't go over. Once we arrived, it took about 20 minutes for the people to wait on us. We were then told they didn't have a 20 foot truck they only had a 29 foot truck. We had to take it. I was then charge 20 $EXTRA for going over KMs. I will NEVER use this company again. I will also be telling other people to not use U-Haul.Meg A.

We rented the 20' Truck. It was hard to find one that size. Most seem to be smaller or 26'. My suggestion is not for the location but rather U-Haul in general.... when the customer goes to your website for information about what size truck to rent and the various location that rent them, make an up-to-date list available online of what locations have what size trucks on site. You must have an inventory of all your trucks and know exactly which rental office has which truck at any given time. This is all computerized. So let the customer know where the truck they want to rent is actually located so we don't have to call a million offices.john M.

When we returned the trailer, the employees didn't come out to move vehicles so we could park the trailer where they wanted it. We have to move trailers by hand then move the trucks. Employees at this location did not offer to assist.John H.
Four guys behind the counter and the only one allowed to wait on me was selling car parts. I waited 15 min to be served. Then when I inquired about a 50 $discount that I'm entitled to because my pickup location changed he played stupid and said "uhaul" would need to deal with that! The guy was wearing a uhaul shirt....? Then when I reviewed my contract before dropping off I realized the mileage that I was told I would receive was cut by more than half. So we had to call and spend time explaining it to a phone rep who couldn't understand our situation and gave up and told us we could have the extra mileage anyway. Truck was not properly swept out and the fact that I had to drive 45min out of my way to pick the truck up is gross, when had already reserved it three weeks in advance and I had a dealer two blocks from my house. I use uhaul often and have recommended it to friends but after this I'm going to try someone else. Very diapointed. On the bright side the movers we hired through you... awesome! Couldn't be more pleased with the quality of service they provided here in Bedford NSJoseph F.

We reserved a 5x8 and drove an hour to pick it up. There wasn't a 5x8 at the location. Reservations said they had automatically upgraded us to a 6x12. Not what was promised. Fraser at Hood Automotive was outstanding and got us a 4x8. Reservations should have called me to tell me what they had done. If I'd wanted something other that a 5x8, I'd have ordered it.
