Not much. U-Haul equipment rentals are located within a well stocked hardware store in a small town. Only a couple of clerks are knowledgeable about U_Haul rental processes, rates, etc. The items I rented were what I needed & were worth the wait.RALPH W.

We have rented a trailer twice and each time the service was excellent, and friendly.Austin H.
Trailer was parked in mud, inside needed sweeping before being used. Safety chains were new but ridiculous long. I will price other rental companies or find a private trailer next time. The cost for quality of trailer rented was expensive.SCOTT L.

Horseshoe Mountain was excellent. The truck was new and functioned great. There was no ramp on this truck and that was a major problem. Lifting furniture, washer, dryer etc without a ramp was almost impossible to load the truck. U-haul should put ramps on every truck. This was a very bad experience because there was no ramp.Craig S.

An employee hitched up the trailer for me, which was very helpful because I don't have knowledge and expertise. When I stopped for gas I noticed that the chains were hanging low enough to touch the rode - to my mind, a dangerous situation. I have seen sparks from a hanging chain ignite a vehicle. There is a correct way of wrapping the chains around the tongue of the trailer to prevent the chain from striking the road. Please provide training for employees who will be hooking trailers to vehicles. Other than that, the equipment and service were great.Laura M.

They said they no longer have a service representative come out to check the equipment and the truck needed an oil change and almost 2 gallons of antifreeze! Steering was sloppy don't know if that was normal or not but it made driving difficultGail G.
When a customer reserves a truck and you say you will text them to confirm the reservation actually text them don't call them or email them they aren't expecting a call or email secondly have an hour or two window for customers to pick up reservations things don't always go as planned and you can't get to the location at a specific time thirdly when you screw up a customers reservation don't send them clear across the state to get a different truck give them the one they reserved or bring them one also learn to communicate and stop franchising it doesn't seem to work well for your company (uhaul) when the customer returns the truck at the location you told them to don't then tell them no now you have to return it elsewhere if you intend to continue franchising your franchisees need to be able to address and solve customer issues they are the face of your company and deal with customers directlyJoel R.

I would only recommend this location because for me it was very convenient as the closest proximity to my location that I was moving from. I waited at the rental desk for about 8-10 minutes before anyone showed up to help me. I had already made my reservation online and that was helpful or else the person helping me would have struggled through the rental process. As it was, I was out about half an hour from the time I got out of my vehicle until I madeCorey R.

I had to suggest the employee go look to see if the truck was there. He said he didn't see it so it must have been rented again. I checked with 1800GoUhaul and received a return authorization number from them just to be safe. But about 5 minutes ago, my card got charged a random amount of 92.00. So I'll be talking to someone again as soon as I'm done with this. For someone who doesn't have a lot of cushion on their card, the extra, unnecessary almost 200 $that you've compromised may lead to additional fees from my bank, which I'm sure you'll refund promptly.Amanda J.

U-Haul has kept our deposit now for eight days. This is not necessary. I have been to the location and they claim it is U-hauls fault. Will not do business with No-Haul ever again. Will be going to the back to do what is necessary to retrieve funds. Will recommend Horseshoe Mountain for everything but No-Haul.HAL M.

Let customers know that the amount put on hold on their card, is not the same as the charged amount at the end if the rental. We had 353 dollars in hold and paid 370 for the rental. The money on hold did not get back to our card until 10 days after the rental. Also, every customer service agent I spoke too at u-haul gave me different and conflicting info throughout this experience.KELI W.

I was charged 86,34 $ for 2 days @ 18,95 $ per day. I was charged 16,00 $ for insurance even after I declined it on my application because my Insurance agent assured it was covered on my Auto policy. After complaining they adjusted my bill to 56,85 $. My confirmation Letter assured my total cost was37,9 +tax.Ronald C.

It took a couple times and calling customer service to the Department and nobody came before a employee walked over and said they hadn't come in yet, no I said, so she went and got some money, after that the gentleman was very nice help me out very fast and quickly color there's a lot of good guys in that place.Jeremy D.
They were slow at responding to being paged to the department to check me out. Had to page for customer assistance quite a few times and still no response, so the lady actually had to go over and physically ask for somebody to help me. Waiting time at least five minutes. After the employee came over they were very helpful fast and friendly.Jeremy D.
