It sure would be great if U-Haul would make their trailers weigh less, make them tall enough for an adult to stand up in them without hunching over, and make one was rentals more affordable (especially within the same state or county.

Raynie HThey had issues accessing the site - they didn't have the car dolly I wanted (I am requesting the $50 for not getting equipment). I was able to use an auto transport but I have not received my receipt yet (by email)… they could not print it out for me.

Tamara KThe trailer had a tire that was missing a bug chunk that we has to wait to have replaced. The photos we received of the trailer to compare condition was when it was brand new. The trailer was in poor condition and really worn. When we returned it the tongue jack quit working. Had to get the bottle jack out of the truck to get it off the ball. Then it collapsed and about smashed my sons foot. Over all i will not rent from Uhaul again.

Richard PNot much. U-Haul equipment rentals are located within a well stocked hardware store in a small town. Only a couple of clerks are knowledgeable about U_Haul rental processes, rates, etc. The items I rented were what I needed & were worth the wait.

Austin HTrailer was parked in mud, inside needed sweeping before being used. Safety chains were new but ridiculous long. I will price other rental companies or find a private trailer next time. The cost for quality of trailer rented was expensive.

Dusty MHorseshoe Mountain was excellent. The truck was new and functioned great. There was no ramp on this truck and that was a major problem. Lifting furniture, washer, dryer etc without a ramp was almost impossible to load the truck. U-haul should put ramps on every truck. This was a very bad experience because there was no ramp.

Jessica SAn employee hitched up the trailer for me, which was very helpful because I don't have knowledge and expertise. When I stopped for gas I noticed that the chains were hanging low enough to touch the rode - to my mind, a dangerous situation. I have seen sparks from a hanging chain ignite a vehicle. There is a correct way of wrapping the chains around the tongue of the trailer to prevent the chain from striking the road. Please provide training for employees who will be hooking trailers to vehicles. Other than that, the equipment and service were great.

carl jThey said they no longer have a service representative come out to check the equipment and the truck needed an oil change and almost 2 gallons of antifreeze! It would have also been nice to have more information on the truck because it was an older model with no cruise control and a 70 mph governor on it.

Gail GWhen a customer reserves a truck and you say you will text them to confirm the reservation actually text them don't call them or email them they aren't expecting a call or email secondly have an hour or two window for customers to pick up reservations things don't always go as planned and you can't get to the location at a specific time thirdly when you screw up a customers reservation don't send them clear across the state to get a different truck give them the one they reserved or bring them one also learn to communicate and stop franchising it doesn't seem to work well for your company (uhaul) when the customer returns the truck at the location you told them to don't then tell them no now you have to return it elsewhere if you intend to continue franchising your franchisees need to be able to address and solve customer issues they are the face of your company and deal with customers directly
