Card reader at location "not working" so employee asked for my card and manually inputted card #, expiry etc. Into computer. Slightly sketchy since the card reader was functioning for signing rental agreement. Van rented had multiple damaged areas that weren't marked as inspected damage Van rented needs new brakes (could hear squealing from wear indicators whenever braking)

I think I am overcharged this time. I just had the car for less than one hour. And I drove it for less than 10 Kilometre but they charged me 10$ just for gasoline.

Have the equipment available that was ordered online, such as the utility dolly. And don't under state the gas gauge level at the end of the rental, PLEASE!

I had some trouble with the gas level. There should be an obvious ratio of Mileage to gallon or in My case in Canada kilometres to litres so you aren't left trying to guess how much gas to put in !!

I needed to move big pieces of furniture, and I needed a dolly for that, so I pre-ordered a dolly at your website along with a moving van. However, I did not get the dolly. Your representative handed me a copy of preliminary receipt and went to the next customer without saying anything. When I asked, where the dolly was, he went somewhere pretending to look for it, then again, without saying anything he returned to the next customer. When I asked about the dolly once again, he said "Oh, I thought you had it in your van" and then he left again. On his return, he said that he could not find a dolly. When I asked if he could arrange one for me, he said that it is not his problem and I need to get it somewhere else. Then I asked him to reprint my preliminary receipt and remove a dolly, he said that he removed the dolly initially. So, to summarize, he knew that he has no dolly, but instead of apologizing for that or trying to get a dolly for me, he just played dumb "two times looking for dolly" and wasting my time. So, instead of moving my furniture I had to spend another hour driving around and looking where I can purchase a dolly. Later, when I was returning a van, the same representative held me for about 40 minutes saying that his computer is slow and cannot connect to UHaul servers. Overall, it was terrible experience. I expected if I pre-order something from responsible company, it would be ready at the specified time at the specified location. Instead I wasted a lot of time dealing with your poor service and irresponsibility. Next time I would look for another moving company and would advise the same to all my friends.

The check-in and check-out process is fine and smooth. The diver and passenger seats are dirty. There were unknown rocks at the cup holder. I picked up two used face masks from the passenger floor and dumped them to the garbage bin in the office before I left. I did not allow my family members sat in this van. The trunk is fine.

We had ordered an appliance trolley but when we got there they did not have one. We could have gone to another location but decided to get the furniture trolley instead. It actually worked better. When we returned we were not charged for the trolley as it had not been the one we ordered. Agent helping us had a great sense of humor! It was also very convenient that there is a gas station on the corner as we had to fill the tank back up upon returning

Although it was a stressful day for everyone in town that day, the time I was supposed to pick up the truck was changed on me, and they charged me for an extra dolly that I didn't use. Overall things worked out, but not the best experience in general.

False advertising: the van was not clean; salt all over windows ; felt like alignment or broken belt in the left frount tire .I had the van for under 2 hours and drove 14 kms still was charged extremely $10 for the Biggest pace of junk I've ever drove. I highly recommend to NEVER use U Hauls again!

I found it strange that I wasn't emailed a receipt after returning the van, so I didn't know how much I was actually charged until I logged into my U-Haul account and searched for it.

Make the advertised rental price more accurate..19,95 is the price you advertise however in reality it cost us 100.00....huge difference..its difficult to budget with discrepancies like that.

The van was delivered to me with an air leak in the right rear tire. I was advised of this by the rental agent, so all good with him. I am disappointed in U Haul to knowingly rent a vehicle, and especially one like a cargo van, with a faulty tire.

the 24/7 process was very smooth. I enjoyed it thoroughly. However, once I got into the vehicle, it was very very dirty. Not just a little dusty from previous move, but rather absolutely disgusting. Not to mention that the van reeked so bad, I couldn't stay in it with the windows closed. When I went into the store to report the dirty van, the employee suddenly got super angry and started swearing about UHaul BS, got a broom, and told me to "give me the f**** keys". I can go long about this. I just wanted to say that this was not a pleasant experience at all. My friends told me that U-Haul is usually much much cleaner than this. The truck was not clean. There were only 6 pads available, instead of the 12 requested and confirmed. The furniture pads were damp. The sign out process took a long time. The return process took unreasonably long - there should be a key dropoff as in other locations.

The van smelled like dog (or horse?) and 5he passenger seat was covered in dog hair. We had to drive with not windows open (gag). The checkin checkout mobile process was painfully long.

at least there was customer parking available at this spot, unlike 2459 Princess St. Kingston Ontario. their refusal to let me park my small Honda on their spacious lot added almost $50 to my rental cost. next time Budget, Penske, Ryder or anyone else.

This UHaul location overcharged me by more than 100 % (they kept my deposit) and despite three phone calls and two visits to the store, I still have not received a refund. If I could give them a zero rating, I would. Do yourself a favour and go to one of the other Kinston locations

I ordered a dolly and they don't have any at that location. Would have liked to know that ahead of time so I could have gotten a dolly somewhere else. My move was a lot harder without it.

You need to communicate with your partner companies, in this case it was Howard Johnsons. The poor guy on the desk there was given little instruction for that part of his duties because U-haul gave them little to go by. He tried very hard to please. The website was unclear and I doubt that if we had to pick up the vehicle after hours that the process would have been smooth.

I used this service yesterday and the service was flawed right from the beginning when the mobile self service did not work properly and did not give the required code needed to open the lock where the Uhaul key was kept. Finally the attendant had to come out and give us the key himself. The Uhaul equipment was clean and worked very well . I returned the Uhaul 4 hours later and was surprised to learn that I was charged double. The attendant was surprised also about the charges but could not fix the problem. After waiting almost an hour, I finally left with the attendant promising that they will fix the problem . I felt totally helpless on the whole because they had my credit card details and simply charged me double. However they have promised to fix the problem and will credit me in the next few days .
