Provide a better training to the employees at the front desk, I had a very disappointed experience with the person in charge. His attitude was deplorable and unacceptable, customers deserve a better service regardless the hours he has worked on that day. I love U Haul and the service I had at different locations over the years, but for sure I never going back to the mentioned location.

They were not that busy, but refused to help us get the trailer parked and unhooked. The owner or manager whatever he was, had a problem and let it bleed over into customer service which there was none.

The guy was upset that he didn't know we were coming. I showed him our reservation drop off location provided in the app. He grumbled when he found out he was wrong. He proceeded to be short answered and made me move the vehicle and trailer saying it was “in the way” even though I had parked it with the other trucks. What I relived is that he doesn't like backing up the trucks with a trailer. Some clear signage about where he wants returned vehicles would help.

I was told by the person at the desk to park the truck and he would check it in when he could and I would receive an email later that day or the next. I told him that was unacceptable as I was liable until I had turned the property back to uhaul and I wanted documentation that the vehicle was returned. He told me if I didn't like that option to return the truck online. Which I did and placed the key in the drop box. He was rude and unhelpful! Never again Uhaul.

The van was great. I really like the van because it is a good size for moving and I can drive it easily & feel safe & comfortable in traffic! The man, Mark, who runs this location & felt the need to tell me repeatedly he did NOT work for U-Haul, had a rude tone & treated means like a problem child - he repeated all the “issues” if I did “this & that”.Mark made a big deal about the cleaning charge ! “if it even meant he had to get up in the van & sweep it out” (Well he had NOT swept out the back since the previous rental which would tell me he does not think much of having a relationship with UHaul) Mark told me the insurance was mandatory. I questioned if that was a new policy ? I had the insurance offered with my 5 previous rentals but not told it was mandatory. Mark said they aren't doing running their business correctly ! If there had been a different UHaul co opened & had a van, I would have left & gone there ! He also told me that he closed at 5 & I would have to handle the return on my own & he hoped I left it clean... Appreciative I was able to get the van...terrible customer service at this location on 1960, Humble Storage, UHaul customer service was helpful !

I was really releasable with the manager that helped me. I was sitting there for 45 minutes because he didn't want to go out in the rain to hook the trailer up. If you are afraid to go out in the rain just let me hook on the trailer & bring it up under the cover so you won't get wet. If I wasn't under a tight frame I would have gone somewhere else.

Mark Hodges was very rude. While picking up he was very short and condescending. When I was dropping off there was a family there picking up there as well. I witnessed as he talked to them very disrespectfully. The guy asked a simple question, is the insurance on it? marks response was whatever is on the paper, we should have already discussed that. Mark also took a phone call and the lady was saying she was at work and she just needed to get a pen to write the number down and he cut her off saying he had to hang up and she could call tomorrow because he was busy. He took the keys for my truck and then when I said he took them already he argued with me that he doesn't take keys before checking in after which he walked back to his desk and found the keys on his side of the desk. But he did not apologize. He made comments that they close at 5 however we were all there before 5, so good customer service would be to take care of the people who are paying your business money for service. I will NEVER use this location again and I'm pretty sure the lady on the phone and the other family there will not as well. I talked to them for a little bit and we discussed Mark and how he treated us poorly for whatever unknown reason. Mark is apparently the property manager of the storage facility so UHaul may want to reconsider him as a partner because if this is how he treated 3 different paying customers in that short span, I can only imagine how many other customers have experienced this as well.

Poor service, decrepit and old equipment, blamed my equipment (UHaul installed hitch and lighting connection) for the failure of the lights not working when it was the UHaul equipment that was faulty. Two other trailers on the lot, neither in rental condition. Sorry excuse for a UHaul location.

I would never go to this location again. I rated it on Google maps as horrible customer service and the van needed servicing. Also the information on uhaul website is rather ambiguous and somewhat vague. I'll rather rent with Penske because I've never had a problem with them and you have all of the information needed.

Mark was rude and argumentative, not helpful at all. I observed him being rude and abrasive to two other customers while I was there. The tried telling the uhaul representative that "I bet this guy didnt tell you the truck has a bad battery". I then showed him the text from roadside assistance about the battery, and that shut him up for a minute. He was also rude to my wife when she came in to see what was taking so long. I will never recommend this person and will avidly tell people to steer clear of his place.

Price point was a little over what I expected, I asked for information on pricing, but was told they will send it to me. I guess it would just be better to know in advance exactly how much will be charged upfront..then the rest I know they have to see after you return the truck ..the guy said $100 but actually they held $32 first then charged me the rest a day after returning truck which is today. I like to see the bill when I return the truck. We returned it on full tank of gas..but I thought it was a bit high. But I still will reccomend this company.

This location should assist in tow hook up and test as normal course of business. For that I like the location near Kingwood off US69 and Loop 494. The facility was clean and friendly service! Representative did excellent job.

I had a 1130 reservation and the place didn't open until 1:15 and I explained to the young lady and she showed no kind of empathy or explanation for the inconvenience of me waiting.

It wasn't the location. The girl was great. The problem is I had to wait For over an hour because the system was slow! I was about to leave but the the young lady got a Manuel approval for my payment! When You Make a reservation you should be able to get in and out! Couldn't pickup Truck with the Cell phone! If it wasn't for the young lady trying so hard I would've left. Location gets a 5 stars u Haul it's a 0!

I was grossly over charged for gas and cleaning fees, I used 1/8 a tank and was charged $21 and a $30 cleaning fee when it was as clean as it was when i got it.

Uhaul over charged by $30. My original rental cost was under $100 for a Friday pick up and Sunday drop off. Ended up getting charged $125.

The facility was supposed to be open at 8:00 am. When I arrived at 8:05 am there was a sign posted that they would be back at 8:45. I returned at 9:00 and the clerk was having difficulty operating your our check in procedures with another customer. The process too too long and your online check in server doesn't work either. It kept booting me out of the system without accepting my information. Additionally, when I returned the rental after hours, it would not accept my log in to return the truck online. You need to fix these problems. It's is inexcusable that in 2020 you are still having problems with such a simple check in and check out online.

My rental reservation was for a 10 foot truck. It wasn't until I got the pick up location that I was informed that my reservation had been changed to a 15 foot truck. I am extremely upset with the change; this is not the first time UHaul has made this switch on me. I will have to review whether I rent from UHaul again or go to one of your competitors.

Jackie was completely Incompetent. I arrived at 1:30. The door was locked and said it was closed till 2. I could see some one inside. I knocked on the door. Jackie answered the door and said she was with a customer renting a storage unit. She said it will take a while I should go to another uhaul place down the street. After waiting about 15 minutes I called corporate for uhaul. Even though the phone was right next to her she didn't answer. Corporate called 3 times she never answered. Even though she was almost done with storage customer. She took a break from customer to tell me I could go to a different location again. Once she was done with the customer and it was my turn. Jackie informed me that I could unload my trailer over there. With no help from her. I unloaded my trailer BY-MY-SELF as she started to wait on another customer. She wanted to keep my paperwork of me renting it. And she never gave me any paperwork that my trailer was returned. In my opinion Jackie is completely incompetent. I was in retail for many years. And I have never see a more incompetent employee as I have with Jackie. As much as it pissed me off to unhook and move my rented trailer. It pissed me off more to have to wait almost an 30 minutes for her to get to me and then she couldn't even do the paperwork. Corporate had to email me a copy. And I just did all her work. Unloaded, unhooked and got paperwork emailed to me. Why the hell do you even have her there. I'm a 42 year old woman that shouldn't have had to unload my own trailer. And your employee should have never told me to that. Luckily I was not hurt by unhooking and moving my trailer. But Uhaul should really do a better job training their employees. I'm sure that it's probably policy for employees to unhook and move trailers. And that customers shouldn't. Seems like a accident and lawsuit waiting to happen at this location.

I originally reserved my trailer rental at the Kingwood TX location, later was informed that they didn't have the trailer I needed but they may be able to get one in, then was notified that they couldn't and my reservation was moved to this Humble TX location. I showed up a few minutes early for my 8 a.m. pickup, at 8 a.m. someone inside the store came out and put up a sign saying they wouldn't be there until 8:15!!! I got the persons attention and told her I had a 8 a.m. pickup so she let me in. She found my reservation but there was an issue with it, she then told me the trailer they had was defective and they were having one brought in, they knew about this the day before and already had one in route, it was 8:30 before it showed up. Why, if they had to get this trailer brought in, did they not get it brought in to the Kingwood location that was closer to my house, the location I originally reserved the trailer at??? Very poor service and planning on U-haul's part, poor customer service at this location!

Very expensive, I receive the truck without the tank full of gas We have an agreement in the contract to leave in the same level that I receive and however the charge me more money for the gas, when I separate the truck online they give me one price and when I pick it up the truck I ended pay more money, however you always loose I feel U Haul take advantage of my situation, I wish I could find a different company and compare the prices... If I need to move definitely I will check other options...

The truck would not start when we got there. It made us several hours behind on the move. We had to go to a different location to pick up another truck and it was smaller. I'd like to make a complaint and speak to a manager. Please make sure trucks are serviced for pick up. Thank you

This vehicle needs ATTENTION. Breaks need replaced before it is rented again. It leaks oil bad, left a big mess in front of my business and the oil light was on for the entire time I had it. This truck is filthy dirty. Disgusting. Disappointed.

I was not shown how to use the loading ramp and the back lights of the 26 foot truck were not working. I had to drive from Houston to Dallas in the evening with no lights in the rear of the vehicle. Extremely dangerous and horrible that they were not checked by the Uhaul location before the vehicle was rented out. I turned in the truck 1 full day in advance and did not receive any credit!
