He told me he would not come outside to help me lift the trailer off because it wasn't his job. I said well I can't physically lift the trailer off. I need your help. And he refused. I did get a call back from the manager there after I left because he accused me of saying something racial to him which, as I spoke to her said I would never do in my life. As a matter of fact, I had complained to her about his behavior the first time I was there. I will never pick up a trailer at that location again and I rent them every month.

Harbret SinghTrailer was not swept inside. Door was very squeaky and hard to slide. I made the reservation online for two days. Rate was $29,95 per day and I also added the insurance for $20. Total came to $79.90. Pick up was Saturday at 8am. Return by Monday 8am. When I came to pick up Saturday morning the guy told me total was $88,09 which makes sense with taxes added. When I returned the trailer Sunday around 5 in the afternoon the guy told me I was 3 hours late. I told him I had reserved for two days. He tried telling me it was only for one day so I told him the total was $88 which was for two days and he said $88 was for one day. So I showed him my email from the reservation and he reluctantly agreed I just needed to pay the $88.09. Never going to use the Huntington road Abbotsford location again. They try to rip you off for more money.

Blake Hudsonbetter communication at pickup location. the inside of the truck was muddy, had to be cleaned before we could put our items into it. the fuel level was not as indicated on the pickup document. If I was not able to confirm this with a photograph at the time of pickup, I would have been charged for over a quarter of a tank of fuel. Thankfully Stephanie was able to resolve this issue.
David DresslerIt took the agent 25 minutes just to complete the documents, on a reservation that had already been completed. The trailer and surrounding area were completely buried in 30 cm of snow, despite it not snowing for two days. I had to get the agent to dig out the trailer just so I could hook up to it. The access to the yard was also blocked by one of your trucks but the agent would not move it. This made it difficult to access and to return the trailer. You should streamline your registration process, and have equipment ready and accessible by the pick up time.
Randy WarrenHold reservations in locations that people book. Don't mislead that there actually is a trailer to rent there and then tell the renter the day before that there isn't one at that location and that they will need to travel several hours out of their way for pick up. Absolutely a terrible way to conduct business and treat customers who have scheduled plans. This was our first time using U-Haul and we're not impressed at all!

Tricia Cunliffe26ft truck we rented had a fuel leak issues. Causing us to use much more fuel then expected. Also got a "check gas cap" warning even though cap was on tight. Made sure dealer knew about issues and hopefully truck gets fixed asap. Be really nice if we got a credit towards rental.

Gale Michael Tho GRAHAMThis location is full of scams. They guy working there is completely irresponsible and didn't checked the fuel level when i was returning the truck. He left the store so hurriedly that he didn't even checked the condition of the truck. And later on because of their mistake they lost the key of the truck and blamed me for losing the key. Later they found the key but they charged me for fuel. I already filled gas in the truck when i was returning it but still they charged me for not filling gas. Worst experience with this location. Would never go back and won't recommend to anyone.
suvir punjThe trailer was left on the ground and the attendant would not help put the trailer on. I hurt my back trying to move it on my own finally got some MEN to help me. Very disappointed with my service and I will be putting a formal complaint to the regional manager Karan my attendant was rude and hung up the phone on me and is not good with customer relations. Will not be using this uhaul again
sara carlsonThe representatives here were very hard to communicate with on the phone. they didn't understand my requests or questions. they also provided me with conflicting information. I was finally able to get the phone number of a representative named Shannon who has been working to resolve our challenges. unfortunately I would not recommend this U-Haul location.
VIRGINIA NIEUWENHUISThe staff at this gas station does not know want to move to work. Asked me to pickup moving blankets and take to the truck. Did not lend a hand. Asked me to take out and bring those blankets back into the store from the truck I've rented a uhaul quite a few times and never experienced this. When I tried to tell him that this is his job he did not seem to care at all.

gurpreet sidhuThe 26 foot truck was extremely dirty in the box portion. It was covered in a dust layer from someone hauling loose limestone rock. We had to use a leaf blower and broom to clean it out prior to moving. The truck was also low on fuel, so we had no way of knowing how to return it at that level. We added fuel during the move but upon return we were charged for fuel above and beyond where the gauge was when we recieved the truck.
Rob NorthrupWe had a very poor experience with uhaul and will never use them again. We booked a 26' truck for Sunday May 28. On Saturday May 27, we revieved a text confirmation that our 26' truck would be available for pick up at 11 am. The following morning, 1 and a half hours before pick up, we recieved a call stating we were only getting a 20' truck. We were moving 3 hours away and a 20' truck was not suitable for our 5 bedroom house and I explained that to them. The call center agent hung up on me three times. The location of pickup had 2 26' trucks but stated they were only for "local" moves. In the end, we had to get a 26' truck meant for local moves but had to return it back to that location, resulting in more gas usage and milage. We spent an hour trying to get this fixed, which took away from our moving time and we didn't end up being done moving until 9 pm. The driver of the uhaul then had to drive 3 hours to return the equipment. I was then phoned on the Monday stating we didn't return the truck. We have pictures showing that we did. The agent said she would check with the rental place. This experience was terrible and I will be advising all our friends and family not to use uhaul again.

dean rizzardoVery difficult to access off of Huntington Road as it is very busy and the access is not very clearly marked. I also wonder whether it was Surjit at the location, or the other u-haul staff who called me. They called me the next day wondering when I was going to drop the trailer off. I told Surjit that I was dropping both the truck and the trailer off, as I do not have another vehicle to tow with.

The chap at the other location was not quite as accommodating and not that helpful, but respectable. Overall, U-Haul is a great company for the most part, their equipment is world class
ROBERT FORRESTERReservation was not held. My move from Vancouver to Vernon ended up incomplete with items left behind , thanks to U-Haul and the staff. Poor communication on their behalf. Complaints still not addressed. Very POOR service!
Glenn MckinneyWas ok once we got the uhaul a day late as the prior customer didnt return it. But was not happy that as our help booked time off work to help move us and I wasn't about to travel an extra hour each way to pick up the uhaul and get it back to where we were moving from. I feel that there needs to be more of a consequence for not returning on time as 2 people could have worked and missed being paid for the day. We were just lucky we had a good landlord and they were ok with us staying an extra night.
Michelle GraceReserved a 10' truck to pick up on industrial ave in Chilliwack. Received an email 24 hours ahead of pick up advising To pick truck up at Huntington. Arrived at Huntington to pick up truck, and clerk (Gurpreet?) advised he couldn't find our booking / reservation in the system ? Supplied a 26' van , advised no smaller equip available ? There was a 15' van on the lot ! This made us change trip plans, as we where only transporting outdoor furniture , ( maybe 1200 lbs). We planned on taking the Coquihalla Hwy (mountain pass), but didn't want to drive this big a truck with minimal weight (for safety). We had to take a longer route with less elevation, Fuel cost was increased and added 1 hour travel time. The vehicle had 1/8 tank of fuel at pick up, and interior of cab was dirty, box had dirt / broken glass.

Michael NelsonShould be an actual uhual Rep helping you out. I don't blame the gas station guy. He helped through the payment process but that's about it. If it was an actual Rep they would probably assist you with trailer hook up. If I was someone who didn't know how too I'm not sure what they'd do. Trailer should also have rear Straps as well.
Greg PavichAttendant was unprofessional and unhelpful. He took $20 from me to rent pads from him, then when I asked him where they are he said he had no idea and that he hasn't had any for months. I asked questions to which he had no answers and tried to rush me out of the store. He said he would take the money off, but never bothered to.

I used it for 10 miles and tried to top up the tank a bit but it was broken and I mentioned this to the staff at the location and he said it would be done by U-Haul employee. So I went to leave it at the front of the store where the gas was and he nearly yelled at me saying I had to return it to the back. So I did after explaining I thought we were going to put gas in. So I moved it then he charged me for not putting gas in after using 10miles of gas. So I put it at the back and left the key for the "other person" and he chased me as I was leaving asking for the key and I said I left it in the seat for the "other person" and then he yelled at me calling me stupid. I would really like this resolved asap!

Derek HinrichsenNo one was there! The store itself was closed (listed online as open at 6:00am) and nobody arrived until 10:00 am, and that was after calling head office Uhaul for assistance. Terribly snagged up the moving day
steve kalrThe truck we rented had broken windshield wipers so halfway driving home we had to turn around and get them fixed. The guy at UHaul didn't know how to put the new ones on, so I had to do it! THEN we get to our home, open up the back of the truck and it was covered with wet soil and smelled like marijuana plants!! Horrible STRONG odour. The walls were also coated in ink that came off when you touched it and inappropriate words were written on the wall! When we called Uhaul they struggled to understand our issue because of a language barrier. They just said the truck was returned to them in the middle of the night. We did our best to deodorize and clean the truck as we had no other option to move. Horrible experience. We will not go back!
