I picked up the truck with less than 1/2 tank of gas. Since I was driving to O’Hare and I didn’t know mpg I had to stop and get gas both when I picked up AND drop off. That was my only complaint. Everything else was great

The trailer had a broken strap on it. This is vehicle hauling trailer. That is extremely dangerous to not have this maintained properly. I had to rent a separate trailer with another company because they were able to maintain their equipment properly and insure customer safety while traveling.

I parked the trailer (6’x12’) on a downhill parking lot. With no jack for the trailer or chocks for the wheels, I almost had a catastrophe once I pulled it off the hitch ball. It would’ve been my fault for any issues but a stack of lumber chocks and a sign giving unsuspecting customers notice of roll away possibility should be nearby to tip off the customers dropping off trailers.

I feel $.79 a mile on Sunday is really a lot to charge. Why do we have to be charged more because the only day we can execute our move is Sunday? Otherwise it was a great experience and Anthony McBride, who coordinated the truck rental was very good and accommodating.

On the video for early pick up of instructed to go to the U-Haul app to get all of my information as far as a get my key out of the box. Nowhere does it mention go to myU-Haul.com Took me 15 minutes to get through to someone in customer service to find out what I needed to do when was already running close to getting there in time for the movers it was very frustrating

Good experience overall, the only thing I would suggest is that if a customer doesn’t want the Dollie and pads, keep them out the truck, they were in the way. And of course we couldn’t move them, otherwise we would get charged.

The mobile check in process was a disaster. I reached the stage where the associate tries to call a friend or relative and the whole process stopped. We waited a half hour for something to happen. Nothing. We tried to call U-Haul customer service. Nothing. I finally backed out of the app then restarted it and it said my truck was ready??? Very frustrating.

I received my truck according to the sheet between5/8 and 3/4. Which everyone knows has no official marking on a gasoline gauge I tried to give the truck at that exact marking but it was very frustrating to try to find that perfect marking which has no gauge marking . I feel that your company should give the customer a truck completely full so they can bring the truck back complete full and it makes it a lot easier for them to know exactly how much they have to pump gas back to a full gage. Also by your company giving it to me not completely full I had to consistently check the gauge to make sure I didn’t run out of gas since my trip was quite a few miles away . As far as the service was concerned it was excellent the gentleman was very efficient at the Huntley store where I picked it up . He was very punctual he right before 9 o’clock opening up the store and quickly attended to my needs and at The Milwaukee office the young gentleman who attended us was very professional very kind and very efficient I complained about how I received the gasoline with the marking on the gauge and how hard it was for me to market perfectly he was very apologetic for that but in a very professional manner and I was very impressed with that that young man .He is an asset to your company .He worked very quick and efficient and he didn’t have us waiting long. He marked everything down that had to be marked down checked everything very Thoroughly. I was very impressed with him .because of service like that I will stay with U haul And never sway to any other competitor. My daughter and son have moved a couple times and I’ve been able to help them and we’ve always pick up trucks at the Milwaukee site my daughter will be moving in May from her storage and in June to another location so we will be using your trucks for two more moving‘s . Please tell The two gentlemen superiors What a fine job date it for me and my family . thank you very much !!! RICHARD FIGUEROA

How do you monitor gas when you dont keep the damn tanks full. I got the truck on an 1/8 tank. Thanks . You should keep the tanks full that way when a customer pics up the truck its ready an when they bring it back all they have to do is bring it.back full not play this stupid game with your papers an tryi g to estimate how much fuel to put back in. As the customer why should i give you more fuel than you gave me. Very upset with your operating procedures. That is unacceptable in my eyes.

Vehicle reserved was not available upon my arrival. Paid everything online beforehand. Still had to process payment and do the paperwork in person. Agent onsite said he was just an agent and couldn’t do anything to help me. Agent said I had no reservation when I arrived although I had the reservation confirmation with me. Etc, Etc. Was promised a $50.00 Credit from Uhaul when I had to call them from the Huntley location. No confirmation of that being sent to me as of yet.

Parking lot was small and tight. Not sure how an unexperinced drive can drive through there, with the 90 degree turns right next to the building, especially on a truck that is 20 to 24 feet.

As good of an experience as moving could be! Anthony made the whole truck rental experience fast and easy. Their store had all the last minute moving stuff we needed, too.

Ripped me off on fuel surcharges even though I returned the truck full. As the receipt shows, I drove the truck 46 miles before returning it. I also have a receipt showing I refilled the truck with 3.4 gallons of fuel. This is in line with the trucks MPG. Then I'm not sure how the receipt can show I returned the truck with only 7/8th fuel left. Charged me an extra $13. I'm not fighting it because the $13 is not worth my time.
