The place of business for pick up was not the issue. Uhaul being unwilling to accommodate a nearby location was the problem. We made the reservation over 2 weeks in advance, as we were told to in order to ensure a near by pick up location. That did not happen, and the reservation was also split, requiring me to go to 2 different locations to pick up equipment. (Truck at one location, trailer at another) Therefore, we were not able to pick up the trailer at all due to time involved to drive an hour out of our way. Very disappointing. Then staff was rude on top of it.

When we rented the UHaul we were told we could drop it off at any UHaul location which we decided to do then when we dropped it off in PA they called Hunts Auto and was told we have to pay $758.00 for unauthorized drop-off I better not be charged the extra fee ,I've never heard of such a ridiculous amount

Signs all over saying drop box for keys is across the parking lot took me 15 min just to find this small box on a pole , signs helped but would have been better box on pole by trucks . Would have made it more easier. Not a lot of lights in parking lot very dark had to walk around with my phone to look for box an where I was walking glad I don’t have to move any time soon

Young man couldn't hook up the trailer. Another senior employee hooked up the trailer. Next day we noticed a charge higher than receipt states with the bank. No one person representing uhaul has good customer service skills. Every person was either nasty or less than helpful including the corporate representation. I nor my close family will ever go to said location again. We've used uhaul for years we're truly disappointed. Maybe give customer service seminars to this store employees bc they sure do need it.

We paid for insurance, and got stuck in mud at the house. U haul said, it only is for mechanical issues. With seasons change, there is mud. It would have been great to have had someone from companys insurance, come tow us out of the mud. Something for UHaul to think about adding in its insurance coverage.

The truck ran very rough; I’m guessing it needs a tune up. We drove it 140 miles and it cost us $58 in gas. I’m assuming the truck was using gas because it was not running right or the person before us did not completely fill it like we did. Moreover getting less than 5 mpg is ridiculous. We rented a truck two months ago , same size , the truck was entirely different from this one. We did the exact distance and it cost $25 for a fill up at end. That’s more real for a truck! I told the owner of the facility about the truck running rough and how much it cost for gas . He didn’t care! Well that will be my last rental from that place.

Was expecting to pick up the tow dolly in Nunda, ny, but the day before pickup date, I was told that I would have to travel 12 miles further to get it. Which added 48 additional miles to my trip. Not happy. The dealership in dansville was great, not their fault, but all the same I probably won't be using uhaul in the future.

I was notified of the "out of the way" pickup location less than 24 hours before pick up. The practice of not informing customers that the pick up may be inconvenient is unacceptable. I reserved the truck less than 5 miles from move out location and had to drive over 1/2 hour to pick up vehicle. The people at this pick up locale were helpful and courteous.

Had a very positive experience with renting a 5x8 trailer from Hunt's Auto Parts. They were friendly, explained everything, and made sure the trailer was in good shape to travel from NY to NC.

Had to wait over an hour for the one person that was trained to show up. Then even he was not trained properly and could not complete the transaction. Had to wait for the rep to show up. The truck has something wrong with the tranny and the rep argued with me about it. Overall very unsatisfied customer. Would not recommend Uhaul to anyone ever again
