The people were courteous and tried to help but they were untrained in the process and even stated to me, "we are new to U-Haul." It was not checked in and I had to call U-Haul and get help from a Scheduler Supervisor to get it checked in. I don't blame the check-in location as U-Haul should have trained them in the process.
Billy C.My pick-up location was changed without telling me. There was a line about it in an email, but when I pulled up my reservation, it still listed the original place where I had reserved the truck. So, we had to go to two places, and they couldn't find my reservation. The woman at the Smoke Shop was very friendly and helpful, but it had rained for several days, and so the truck was stuck in the mud when I tried to drive off. It took 3 different trucks trying to get it pulled out of the mud. She said they had just starting renting U-hauls so she was still learning the process. So, my complaint is not with the location, it's with U-haul and its lack of communication with me. I lost an hour of loading time because of the failure to properly communicate with me the change in location, which was a fixable issue, and the mud, which was an unfortunate mishap.
