Quick pick-up and drop off. The cargo van was easy to drive and more than met our needs. The only problem encountered was opening the rear cargo doors - the problem was with the operator -- we didn't read the instructions. Once we figured it out, it was easy sailing.

Erika HolmesFred gives excellent customer service. He accommodated my changing schedule very well. However the Uhaul trucks he is given have issues. One a 10 footer had no ac on a 93 degree day. Badly pointed headlights too low for safe night driving. Bucked like a bronco. Second a 15 footer much better w ac and seating position but still needed 6 or 7 attempts to get engine to turn over.

I'm confused as to why the would try to charge my card another $50 when I already paid when I picked the U-Haul up. Maybe I'm wrong but there shouldn't have been anymore charges until after I brought the truck back and only then would I be charged if something wasn't correct. I reached to U-Haul support and was told that they would get back with me within 3 days, really? Other than that, great!

Bruce Burnsi would have thought that the man behind the counter would have come out and showed me the vehicle, gotten the windshield advertisement out and generally done more than sit behind the counter. I was "bait and switched" because I was told CDW was NOT optional and it was never on my reservation - it was not needed because my insurance would have covered it all if it was wrecked and I used to rent cars and know that it is not customary to force someone to buy CDW....additionally, I reserved the unit at 69 cents/mile but was told that it would be 79 cents/mile because it was a weekend rental. The website said the location was closed and I needed to use the app to return it - this is very difficult to use when it's raining .....turns out, after I did it, there was someone inside working. WILL GO TO PENSKE NEXT TIME.

Eric NoakI called Saturday and was told someone would be in the office at 10am the next day. They were not. Another customer pulled in at 10:30 and said he was told the same thing. So now I'm on the phone with customer service changing my reservation to an online check in for over a half hour. We had the truck maybe 3 hours of the 6 hour rental. Then I get my final bill and I'm charged an after hours fee and was charged for fuel. I filled the tank back to where it was. I didn't even call to complain because they probably wouldn't do anything about it and I don't like wasting my breath.

Christopher VanHussI reserved a 20' truck for Saturday. U-Haul had it at Hy-Tech on Thursday. U-Haul, not Hy-Tech, rented it out on Friday. The person they rented it to did not return it on time and I had to get a 15' truck. I was not compensated for the addition trips I had to make with a smaller truck.
