My experience was great. I'm not real tech savvy, however, Mr Fred Day, owner of Hi-Tech Service, was very eager, knowledgeable, and very helpful in my assistance with my rental. Mr Day was very good at making his customer related and stress free. I can't thank him enough for his assistance in my U-Haul rental. I would definitely use them and recommend them to all my relatives and friends. Thank you all.Rick M.
Again no information about where the drop off was and the site took forever to check in the truck. Would not suggest to do a pickup or drop off when the store is closed.Gina S.

i would have thought that the man behind the counter would have come out and showed me the vehicle, gotten the windshield advertisement out and generally done more than sit behind the counter. I was "bait and switched" because I was told CDW was NOT optional and it was never on my reservation - it was not needed because my insurance would have covered it all if it was wrecked and I used to rent cars and know that it is not customary to force someone to buy CDW....additionally, I reserved the unit at 69 cents/mile but was told that it would be 79 cents/mile because it was a weekend rental. The website said the location was closed and I needed to use the app to return it - this is very difficult to use when it's raining .....turns out, after I did it, there was someone inside working. WILL GO TO PENSKE NEXT TIME.BUFFY C.
The owner of the business made the process of renting a breeze. He even suggested I extend the rental time in order to prevent additional charges. I will definitely rent from him again.Chuck E.

I called Saturday and was told someone would be in the office at 10am the next day. They were not. Another customer pulled in at 10:30 and said he was told the same thing. So now I'm on the phone with customer service changing my reservation to an online check in for over a half hour. We had the truck maybe 3 hours of the 6 hour rental. Then I get my final bill and I'm charged an after hours fee and was charged for fuel. I filled the tank back to where it was. I didn't even call to complain because they probably wouldn't do anything about it and I don't like wasting my breath.Carrie S.

I reserved a 20' truck for Saturday. U-Haul had it at Hy-Tech on Thursday. U-Haul, not Hy-Tech, rented it out on Friday. The person they rented it to did not return it on time and I had to get a 15' truck. I was not compensated for the addition trips I had to make with a smaller truck.Robert R.

Truck trans was very strong only think was a wiper blade may not have been clipped completely i could not get in touch with final destination people so i called 1800 put on hold to long hung upDouglas H.
I was going to do a mobile pick-up, but the site has some issues. It was so slow, and most of the way through, it asked for a name and number for a friend. This was a hassle. Then I have to call a friend to get permission and hope they're available. The site agent came out as we were finishing; he had the keys and finished the transaction. Also I was charged $10 for something I didn't agree to.Debra G.

I went through the whole mobile check in process and when I arrived no keys were in the truck I had to go inside and do another live check in. Truck did not run well and felt like it had transmission problems. I drove 87 miles and put 9,5 gallons of gas in truck before returning I was still charged an additional fuel charge.James T.
Online pickup was difficult because of issues with staying connected. Called and was able to get the key but it took longer than I thought it should. They were very friendly and helpful.Barbara M.
Due to the previously mentioned truck issue, I was unable to fill the gas tank before drop off. I noted that I disagreed with the gas charges since the situation was beyond my control. Rather than contact me to discuss, UHaul charged me anyways with no warning.Brennan T.

I dropped off trailer on agreed day, which happened to be a holiday. I was then charged 22 bucks extra because it wasn't a day they were open. They scheduled the day, plus had I kept it till the next day then if of been charged an extra day. Great way to make money off customers on holidays. Schedule depends when not open and charge them extra because you're not upendRONALD M.

We reserved the Uhaul Thursday morning for a Monday morning pick up. We arrive just a few minutes after our scheduled time and the truck is not ready. The guy pulled it around to wash the windows and then told us that the brake light needs to be changed. The rolling cart we ordered was not in the truck. We asked if we could take the other truck in the lot instead. The guy seemed very irritated that we asked, but pulled it around. We had to load the rolling cart and dolly ourselves, and the guy tried telling us to bring it back on a full tank of gas even though it was starting at 3/4 of a tank. We filled out everything online, including submitting driver license copies and checking in online and it still took us over 30 minutes- who knows how long it would have been if we had to wait for the brake lights too!Randall D.
