I arrived at the location to find no moving blankets were available as ordered on-line. I had to drive to another location to get blankets. The service was friendly and helpful but I would be unlikely to go back for fear of the same kind of surprise.Christian R.

The cashier had me wait while he took care of customers that came after me simply bcz I a U Haul costumer. U Haul seems to be a costly business for them. On the end he apologized and it was all good. I forgot my driver license there, he gave me a call to picked it up. When I arrived he told me I owed 7,70 $ which I paid on the spot.Mamadou O.

This is for uhaul in general. The mobile check in and out is painful and I love mobile apps that provide independence. If you can work with a human, the experience is better in this case. Also, no info on the app regarding equipment- every time I have ordered a uhaul in the past the hand truck (that I rented) was in the truck ready for me. In this case it was not so when I went Puck up my furniture, i didn't have it. Frustrating. The gentleman who helped me was very nice.Jennifer J.

Parking seems to be challenging. There needs to be a better process in place. Its a tight small shopping complex and there are other stores (Nail Salon, Papa Johns) there which makes it harder to pull up and park the uhaul truck. Improve your smartphone app for android. It doesn't work efficiently. It couldn't recognize my location even though other apps on my phone could see my location. I had to retake the front part of my license like 3 times before it was accepted. Sorry to say but U-Haul doesn't seem to be 100 % ready with their mobile check-ins.Sunny G.
The uhaul was not serviced - the low tire pressure light was on, the windshield wipers needed to be replaced, the radio didn't work well and the van was not cleaned (found old French fries in cab)DARINGREGG K.
The parking lot was very small and filled with vehicles (not uhaul). The man working there told us to watch YouTube's on how to attach the car trailer. After watching it, we realized there was no way we could reverse a 26 foot truck to attach the trailer. Especially when the parking lot was so tight it took quite a bit of manuvouring just to get it out of its parking space. Nightmare!!! The truck cabin had trash in it, he told us it was only an empty can and some paper...ewww, especially with covid the back also had not been swept and had large debris.Venkat J.

I was driving along, chatting with my passenger and all of a sudden the overhead interior light comes on, the steering wheel locked, the MOVING vehicle's engine shut off , the brake pedals froze and I had no control. Luckily for me, I was on a flat straight roadway and was already slowing for the traffic light ahead. My passenger yelled at me to shift into park quickly as my brakes didnt work nor my steering wheel. I quickly shifted the car to park and restarted the van so that I wouldnt run the traffic light and that worked. I had no further issues. Clearly there was a maintenance issue with this vehicle, possible transmission related. I alerted the clerk when I droppd the vehicle off. Obviously, this could have caused a major life life threatening ccident had I been traveling in different circmstances. I am now reluctant to use Uhaul ever again.WANDARENEE S.

The lady at the counter at the in and out mart did not speak very much English and had no idea what to do. She had to call her husband after arguing with us fir 15 mins making us late. We ended up having to talk to the owner and go behind the counter of the in and out mart to get our own key. It certainly was not contactless in anywayErin S.

The employee could not print out the rental agreement when I picked up my truck, so they told me to take a picture of the mileage. They told me my rental started at 11am when it was clearly 12pm. I had a reservation confirmation that stated 12pm. The employee told me to bring the van back by 3:30pm because there was another person renting the van at 4pm. He took 30 minutes to get my van out of the parking space and ready for me to use it, because the front bumper of the van was caught on something. The bumper tore off when he backed out of the spot. When I returned the van, I took a picture of the gas and mileage. The gas was a 3/4 full. I was surprised to see an additional fuel charge of 18,40 $ and the invoice said the gas tank was at 1/2 full. I emailed the contact about it and I'm waiting for my refund. This location and employees were not very good and tried to over charge me with additional fuel fees.Peter K.

The employee barely spoke English, had no idea how to actually perform the rental process, had to call his boss on his phone to actually complete it, and did it incorrectly because I didn't even get an actual link to send the photos of the vehicle to.Keegan Addison Z.

The truck had not been cleaned and had a tire pressure warning. Most frustrating: I got charged an extension fee for bringing the truck one hour later. As I understand, the 19,95 $ rate should be daily and I got charged more even though I did not use the truck for more than a day.Radu C.

I reserved my truck online and checked in online. The truck was not there. I went inside and joined 3 other people with the same issue. Took me an hour to finall get my truck that had no gas in it. I returned the truck in about 2 hours and was told that I should have taken down the mileage before and after. Another individual was waiting for a truck like I was earlier in the day. Took another 30 minutes to return the truck because of mileage issues. Not sure they have any processes in place but they are certainly not following them.Scotto L.

did not have the 9ft cargo van I ordered. only option was a 10ft truck at nearly twice the cost per milage. on pick-up and drop-off was promised a milage discount to the same as the 9ft. no discount was given. plus, the radio and dash lights kept going out as I drove. otherwise the truck was fine.DOUGLASSHAWN B.
It is a good location the sign needs to be more visible but the customer service was very good. I like the fact that it was in a store so if you needed anything you could get it from there. Very convenient to get on the road. Thanks for the rental.Philomena D.

The pick-up location I was sent to (Ashburn) was the worst! They have no knowledge of what they are doing, their customers service was the worst. The owner/operator was quite rude and would not give me a receipt after I returned the truck. citing UHaul 'system' issues. Also said that he did not care if I did not come back. Later, I saw that he had over charged me by adding CDW which I did not need, and again blamed it on UHaul.NAVEENKUMAR D.

I ordered over the phone from the national U-Haul call center - the agent could not have been more helpful and friendly, and reserved exactly what I needed for when I needed it, and at a super-close location that I didn't even know existed. The staff at the rental location was also very helpful and friendly - pick-up and drop-off were quick and easy. I will definitely use this location again and recommend to friends!Elizabeth M.

I had trouble using my cell phone to check in. The staff at In and Out tried their best with their phones and IPad to help. Ended up using my son's laptop. The process took one hour and 45 minutes. I was waiting in queue fir a U-HAUL representative for the majority of the time and did not receive help until the online process had completed. My original reservation was with a site near my home , Affordable fleet service LLC. I requested a location closer to my home and had confirmed this and spoken to them on Friday. I received an e-mail on Friday morning at nine and noticed my pick up location had changed. It did not state my pick up location had changed. I did not notice the change until I was on my way and was entering the address for directions. My family arrived at the other location and saw cargo vans available. I guess mine was given to someone else? I had to start all over with tjhe staff at the In and Out regarding how many miles, my address license number - everything that I entered when making my reservations and in conversations with the other site. I had to do it again at drop off with charges. That's 5 times having to discuss rental fees and mileage. The vehicle was reliable and I received a fair price. I had to repeat myself and stand my ground for the original contract/reservation to be honored. The site manager should not be able to change a reservation. This was not an easy online process and somewhat untrustworthy regarding was is reserved and what is charged.SALLYCONFROY G.

If you held the steering wheel centered, you would end up going off the road to the right. It was a constant struggle turning the wheel to the left just to maintain being in your lane. At least it kept one alert.Joseph D.
They made a mistake and on a one day Local rental they charged me over 1 070 $. When my total was supposed to be less than 200 $. Bad experience. I'm still waiting for a refund and not being compensated for any of my inconvenience.Juan B.
