I booked a 26 foot truck a week prior to our move for 5am. A day before moving day a u-haul representative called to tell us there are no 26ft or 20ft trucks available but they can offer us a 15 foot truck with extra miles so we can make 2 trips (over an hour drive). We go to pick up our truck and there is "no equipment assigned" for our mobile pick up at 4:30am. The support line did not open for another 30 minutes so we sat in the parking lot of the pickup location before calling. We find out the truck has not been prepared for mobile pick up so we would have to either go to a different location or wait 2 hours for the location to open. We choose to drive to a SECOND location where the keys for the truck were not in the lock box and there is a trailer hooked up to the truck. After another 30 minute customer service call we are able to get the keys to the truck and find the gas tank is barely filled above a quarter tank. To top it all off I was charged over $250 what I was quoted which required ANOTHER 30 minute customer service call.

I wish the trucks were better maintained and checked more routinely. The first truck we got had been used as a toilet for someone (took a dump in the middle of the cargo area and left it with the paper towel they wiped with). The replacement truck we got had a bunch of trash, empty liquor bottles and moldy vegetables in the back. The owner at this location was super accommodating and apologetic. This was not his fault in any way. The trucks need to be equipped with padlocks or something of the sort in order to maintain their cleanliness and decency.

Making sure all the ordered equipment is actually in the van. I had ordered a dolly and it was not in the truck so I had to purchase one. Was added stress on a day of moving. Especially when the location is closed on pick up day.

He didnt use my reservation, rewrote me and added things that was not on original reservation to charge me more so in end over charging me. rented me equipment he did not have causing me to have to drive out of my way to get rest of equipment The gas to go get rest of equipment came out of my end which wouldn't of happened if everything was together in first place. I'd recommend buying everything new first before renting from uhaul ever again

I was asked to take pictures to expedite the drop off. I was told the receipt of drop off would take 30 minutes or longer and the only employee could not leave the store. Terrible customer service.

Somehow couldn't find my contract and had the wrong zip code for my drop off. Very helpful on the near side not so great when I got where I was going.

Make sure the last customers actually cleans out the truck. The last one I rented had old food containers and used paper towels on the floor.

Holy Cow! The truck was in the wrong place so I had to go inside. The gal inside had ZERO clue how to run system so we had to wait through the slow process of turning on system, and listen to step by step instructions to a system she has never used!!!! The truck had enough gas to go 19miles! That's it! The steering wheel was so off center.

This location is just a lock box in a front of an empty strip mall. The massive lock did not work well, and took many, many tries with jiggling to open. My ordered equipment was not inside the truck, and there was no office to talk to. I waited on hold with Service line for 63 minutes then was disconnected. Twice. Do not use this location.

The trailer hitch install was a hassle. I ordered it the 2nd of July and no one was proactive about shipping the required parts until the very last minute. The process took four hours from the promised two (which was not an issue apparently there was complications). Then when I was supposed to get a conformation about where my uhaul pickup location was going to be, he hung up on me. The trailer itself was hard to close and the door handle got stuck and we nearly could not pull the door down. We still got from point A to point B though which was awesome but uhaul was not proactive and the process was a headache. The only good part about my experience was when I got my storage unit and the guy drove from the store to the storage unit site, helped me open the unit, as well as he stayed after he clocked out to help me unhook my trailer after he noticed we were almost done unloading at the storage unit site. He was amazing I wish I would have gotten a name but he was working july 29th closing shift at 1717 N Belt Hwy location.

The dollies and furniture pads were not in the truck.. they were removed from the price but they were needed
