I reserved an appliance dolly that wasn't available at the location, and I didn't know that until I arrived. It made the move extremely difficult. They did have a furniture dolly that they provided (still charged me for it) but it didn't make the move much easier.

The staff was extremely unfriendly. The woman at the counter gave me attitude because I returned to tell her the proper equipment was not prepared and in the truck that I ordered. She then returned with the wrong equipment and told she doesn't have what I needed. She was yelling and rude giving me faces and rolling her eyes at me. I was extremely unimpressed with quality of service. It was an absolute disaster!

On July 1,2023 I went to rent a truck around 6:42 pm and bring the truck the same night I got charged $266,91 for dolly that was in the truck and 1 extra day .I want corporate or whomever in charge to refund me back the money.

cashier has hard time matching order to computer, kept charging me 1 day rental for pick up date. i was renting for 5 days and she kept charging me six days saying pickup counted as one day could not match her computer to uhaul online order, online order and charge on card was correct, but confusing and frustrating at counter, think employees at uhaul franchise should be better trained

As soon as I pulled off in the truck the low tire pressure flashed. It added an increased level of concern. Inout air in the tire and the stayed on. On edge whike driving. Took an alternate route to avoid major highways which made the pick up and drop longer. Please service your trucks.

There were some difficulties to get my reservation fast, so i took the truck only by 1 p.m. when my reservation was at 12:30. That brought a lot of changes to the planes, so thats why 4 star. In all other conditions i am satisfied, and U-Haul it's a nice and affordable way to get yourself all house stuff moved from one place to another.

The customer service was terrible from U-Haul. We did not get our truck until 1:50pm. It was supposed to be ready at 1pm. I also paid for a dolly to be included and it was not in the truck.

The gas tank was just about 1/8 of a tank, I think there should have been more when I picked it up. I did the online check in but then had to go into Ideal Market to get the keys because I didn't know where the truck was. I was surprised that I just couldn't show her the Check In Screen with the trucks license plate #. I had to wait for her to get off her cell phone, present my license, wait for her to print the paperwork, have here explain the paperwork, sign and then get the key. This defeats the purpose of the online check in. The idle on the truck seemed to be high other than this is was an pretty good experience. Convenient location for me.

not user friendly ,agent asked for co-signer. when I responded that u-haul has rented to me w/out co-signer at 71 yrs I don't need a co-signer, agent insisted til co-worker said emergency contact. female agent for ideal grocery was refusing to advance the rent till co-worker explained emergency contact ,agent then said that she said emer.cont. after arguing w/me about the need for co=signer. then you are informed that you will hike around the complex till you find the vehicle no one will bring it to the desk,1/8 mile hike to vehicle, no one will inspect the vehicle w/you. i noticed a crack in windshield and asked for notation on contract and was refused. same on return took vehicle to front counter for inspection and was refused and told to park vehicle away from store, another 1/8 mile hike. then told to leave w/no paper receipt told to get on text,msg. total experience was unprofessional

Some trash in the back of the truck. I went 8 miles roundtrip and had to put 2 gallons of gas in the truck, which averages out to 4 miles to the gallon.

After making my reservation for a 1 way trip months in advance, I was told that I was a 2nd priority and had to wait for another truck to become available or book a truck that had a return trip; because you overbooked. I was forced to pay extra for a 2 way trip because I'm on a tight schedule to move. Why have customers make reservations if you do not plan to honor it? I was sent to 3 different locations to find a truck. Once at the third location they provided a truck with a flat tire. I am very displeased with my experience. My original location was in Fort Lauderdale on Broward.

Overall my experience with this particular Uhaul location in Dania Beach was ok. But I had several issues with Uhaul reservation in general. Originally I reserved a truck in Hollywood, FL with mobile pickup option. When I arrived at the location in Hollywood and checked in, I was provided a code for the locker, but it didn't work, so I could not access the key from the truck. When I called customer support, I was told the reservation was never made to be a mobile pickup. What??? How I was able to check in with my phone and receive a lock code then? So the customer support canceled this reservation and set another reservation for me, but it was farther from both my house and destination. It was not mobile pickup, I had to stop by in the office, where the service was also not too fast. By the time I received a truck, it was another 1,5 hrs that passed from my original reservation pickup time which completely messed up my planned schedule and schedule of other people. So in conclusion, I did not argue with anyone from Uhaul, but this experience definitely makes me want to deal less with Uhaul in the future.

They said the U haul had 1/4 tank. It had no gas (the electronic reader said I had 12 miles before E) I specifically said NO insurance multiple times and they added 14$ per day. I refilled more than 1/4 tank and they said I would get a credit. This location scammed me and I won't use U-haul ever again! What a disgrace to allow this "ideal food store" in Dania beach to rent your trucks.

We ordered a dolly with the truck and there was none. Then we called headquarters and made a reservation for another dolly at a different location. When we got there to pick it up they said they had none. Disappointed with uhaul.

The ladies I talked to in the store barely spoke English. Everything I filled out in the online check-in to speed things up was asked again upon arrival to pick up the keys. The questions I had they were unable to answer. Also, I had to go around the back of the store for the vehicle. Additionally, the vehicle was given to me with minimal gas. I travelled maybe 15 miles and was close to empty. Lastly, the vehicle they gave me was considerably difficult to maneuver. It was as if there was a problem with the steering or alignment. Extremely difficult to maintain my lane in residential traffic and on the expressway. I will not be renting from this place again.
