I had no issues with physically dropping off the equipment. Everything was clearly marked and easy to find. However, the uhaul.com/share website experience was cumbersome and awful to use. I could not submit my final pictures because every time I took the intended picture, the sight would refresh and my pictures would be gone. I never got past more than one picture. I would suggest Uhaul to either push customers to use the app only or eliminate your app and improve you website experience.
Zachary TOne of the most stressful exhausting experiences of my life. I have used U Haul 3 other times this last 16 months. Because of this one horrible, stressful, botched, experience I will never use U Haul again! This was moving hell, because of how U Haul handled it.

Nicholas FThe location closed early so I couldn't return the vehicle without going through a very cumbersome and difficult online process. The signage clearly indicated they were open until 5, but they closed at 4 without warning. The truck had very bad headlights that weren't correctly aimed. The website said the location accepted cash, but that wasn't true, so I had to make alternate payment arrangements at the last minute. Overall a poor experience, and if I ever need a u-haul again, I will find a different place to rent from.

GERALD Pthe self checking pick up process was quite a surprise. I purposely chose a location that was manned and then 2 days before it was switched to this site. there was no explanation of the BS involved with the self check in. not sure why you need to speak to my boss in order to rent a truck that has nothing to do with my employer.
RICH SPlease have at least a half tank of fuel in truck ready for next customer. Mine had 3/8th. That seemed a little odd. Movig day is a stressful day. It would help the day start better.
ROBERT WMy experiences with both Shannon and Ben were excellent! They both were very accommodating and made the drop off easy. The communication was very clear and up front with no unforeseen challenges.

I left my i-Pass in the truck, and he called and left a msg informing me later, with the hours he would be there today and tomorrow. Very thoughtful, very helpful. (I didn't go inside, so I can't comment on cleanliness.)

Dawn RWe love the location of the facility, but our spot was not ideal with the trailer that was parked in the spot in front of us and the trees that line the back of our spot left our boat cover stained and covered in debris. Now - it's not the end of the world and we will be back in the spring - if you have something available, but hoping we can get a more open spot. We shall see. Thanks and see you all in 2024.

Suzanne HThe truck was clean and worked. The check engine light came on while I was driving it and there were times it was a little sluggish on the acceleration. The awesome folks at In Towne said they'd look at it.
William CBen at the site was very helpful. That said, the remote pickup system sucks. Asking for my driver's license at the time I book the truck would be a good idea. But getting to the site to pick up the truck and then having the system ask for things you would never bring to pick up a truck because I have an out of state license was very frustrating. Luckily for me, Ben arrived to work early and was very helpful. Unfortunately, nobody was at the site one hour before their advertised closing time so again, I had to use the remote feature. I had to go back to the truck three times as the system kept asking me to take pictures. After I took a picture of the interior of the truck, which was difficult as I was holding the trash I had accumulated during the rental, the system closed and I had no record or way to start the process again. All I could do was drop the key and contract and leave, which I did. Remote access is a great idea, but set it up properly and the customer will have a much better experience. My rating of the site is not an indictment of the location but of your system.
Christopher WThis is my go to drop off/pick up location. I went to the wrong spot this time, but they were so helpful helping me check the trailer back to their location and unhooking the 6x12. Two person job for sure!

James PThis is the best Uhaul renting experience that exists. The customer service from the guy working here is 100 %. I would like to hire him away from Uhaul so he can make some real money.
Michael WThe drop off was ok, they should have wheel chocks in a basket as I had to look around for them. I never got how to return after hours when I booked. I had to call, but the lady on the ph was helpful. You should follow up on line with details once a renter books. I got tossed off the site and had to re log in to return the trailer. But I find most all business do not have very well thought out processes. Overall it went ok though.

Craig SThe new methods for return using photos of truck while efficient were difficult to obtain with the dome light not working in the truck at night. It would be wise to be sure the dome lights work so an interior shot would be obtainable.

JEFFREY GMy entire experience was very poor. I had planned to pick up at st Charles and drop off in Dundee . But surprisingly u haul turned me down and forced me to return the rental to pick up location. This was very costly and wasted my whole evening. Vert poor customer service .

We noticed after unpacking and moving our furniture into our home all of our clothes and upholstery items took on the smell of the facility which is a sort of industrial type smell which is hard to explain. It was actually my only concern when looking at the facility initially. It's a it's almost a wet clay /play doh/ concrete smell. All of the mentioned items were boxed and even the packing paper absorbed the smell. The upholstery was shrunk wrapped and cushions plastic bagged. Luckily most things can be washed but our sofas may not fair so well. We'll see how much baking soda and febreeze it will take Overall service and everything was good I just cannot recommend this establishment because if the lingering smell that was left.

The staff is very helpful and once you book a reservation with them; your unit is reserved and waiting for you. Unlike other storage units who state to you the same and when you show up; you find out your storage unit has been taken. Their prices on the units is very good too. If you rent a the 20 or. Or 26ft. U haul truck from them; they will credit your storage unit $25.00. They also have dollies and carts available for you to use. They have different platforms you can unload or load your truck up from. I was very satisfied with the facility staff; layout; the loading areas, security system; and the cleanliness of the facility and trucks..
