Need to improve your U-Haul app. Always say no service tap again to refresh and keeps asking you to log in for every action I don't know if it was the location too but I didn't loose service. That would help with using the 24/7 ride share through the app.Deana S.

I arrived to this address and rang the doorbell to a private residence and the owner started shouting that I woke up his dog and he was very pissed. It was a pitbull, which was barking the entire time and I felt very uncomfortable entering his home to sign paperwork. I would NOT recommend this drop off site to anyone!!!Gerald F.

Preordered truck with a dollie but no dollie in truck and none available. Nothing was said until i asked... still billed for it too. Was sent to another location to pick up a dollie from them, also none available and now I've wasted useless miles, gas and time. Truck was filthy. Have to wait for a manager to call me next week (??? Really ???) to discuss a credit for the dollie. Terrible experience.Sarah C.

It was slow and expensive. The computer didn't run so had to be reloaded. I had preregistered so don't know why he needed to have me wait for his slow computer. For the first time in using U Haul , I was charged extra to hook up the car to the trailer.Bud F.

Uhaul needs to accept any drop off location in area near customer destination without costing customer . Uhaul needs to have more line haul tray is available and not just local .LEEGEORGE C.
The person signing out the vehicle did not get the form setup properly, so when I had left to go pickup the trailer, I decided to fill the tank from where it was and put some mileage on the vehicle. I get to the place to pickup the trailer, and the place is closed and nobody was there to assist me with hooking the trailer up. I was there at the proper pickup time as well. Additionally, when I had gone to fill up the tank with gas, I ended up pulling a little too close to the pump, and I was charged $300 to have someone come out and spend less than a minute correcting the issue (because they are experienced with driving trucks with trailers). I might as well have paid the extra $500 and went with Penske, because they offer those services for free. It was a nightmare trying to get someone to come out to assist also, because the person that I had picked the truck up from hadn't properly input the information in the system, and the person on the phone didn't know that they could collect some other info to get the process going. I was also on hold waiting for someone for ten minutes, and I was told the one person would call me back, which they did, but the phone rang maybe twice before I was able to answer, and the person had left a voicemail, with the same number that put me in the 10 minute waiting que for another person once again.Calvin O.

The owner was not only very professional, he was very personable and enjoyable to do business with! He assisted me with loading the trailer I was renting and offered suggestions on it's use and answered the questions I had.Eric G.
The worker was extremely rude and refused to help us check in and insisted we use the mobile app. The mobile app wasn't working so he made us call customer service. We called customer service and the customer service representative tried what they could but still wasn't working so the representative told the worker to check us in himself but he kept yelling and arguing with the representative back and forth. It took us 45 minutes to get our truck. I'm extremely upset with the service and would never ever ever recommend anyone ever go there. I've already warned all of our friends and family to never pick up from this location.Braxton B.

Our existing reservation at another location mysteriously disappeared when our card holder showed up in face make up for an event. We were told that the 15 foot that was reserved wouldn't be available until Monday. This was out right discrimination upon the desk worker. We were instructed to call the reservation line instead to find if anything else was available. When we called, we were referred to the same location we had just been turned away from. Not wanting to deal with the staff of this ogden location, we went elsewhere. This was beyond disappointing.brandon P.

Very sketchy looking lot. The rental was very dirty and the headlight was out.amanda D.
Customer service is poor. The equipment that was rented with the truck was old and rusted. The truck was giving an an error for stability often. My phone was dead when I returned the equipment and I called the next day and was honest about being under an hour late and was still charged a full day plus an after hours fee? Don't know what that's for. No one was there when I dropped off the truck. Since they are closed on Sunday and left the keys in the drop box, but still had to call to get my final bill.Shauna O.
The personnel there didn't act like they were interested in settling our business when we brought back the truck. They just said to park it, put the key in a box, and leave. We did eventually get a receipt by email, with no extra charges, so that was good. But I would have felt better if I could have gotten a receipt on the day of return. I guess now that I possess the receipt, I can say that the experience was OK. The location was convenient to us.kimal J.

The app was really troublesome and had trouble taking photos and uploading them. Super frustrating it took longer to deal with the app than to actually use the truck. That's a miss for sure!Stewart C.

I had the hardest time picking up and Returning the truck using the phone app I waited on the phone forever to talk to someone since my account dashboard didn't show I had reserved a truck. I had even done the pre checkout to save myself time at the location. After all that they charged me additional charges so check your final contract and email them if you notice added charges email them back. They were quick to refund the incorrect charges and luckily the location I rented my truck from had a human that was able to finally help dispatch the truck after a long struggle with his computer system.Elizabeth P.

The location looked like a creey car graveyard, complete with an old hearse with ripped out interior. The gentleman there was rude and very unhelpful. We had never used the U-haul app and this was our first time renting a moving truck from U-haul. Our friend we put down as a reference revived a call before we were able to pick up the truck and then messaged us to say how rude the lady was who called her. Since those two were the only human interactions we had with U-haul, it didn't start out great.Matthew S.

Proprietor was rude, slow, made mistakes about the return time and then blamed me. He text me that the truck was not returned when it was sitting out in front of his store for hours before. He wasnt present at 1100 am when I returned it. So I left the key and the co tract as he instructed. Then he overcharged me for a clean out when it was spotlessly cleaned by me and reffielef to top off minutes before i returned it. Very slow rude and dishonest uhaul rep. Not whay i have ever experienced before from uhaul. O have used uhaul doxens of times. This was my firsthand experience.Dennis A.

Ed is a sweetheart I would rent from him outside of uhaul. Uhaul the overall company was a terrible experience. Your system was down. Ed tried everything to help me your company wasted 2 hours of my day when I had people who were getting paid 2 hours to move our stuff so they weren't able to do anything because of uhauls lack of communication and terrible service. I will do everything I can to never use you guys ever again!! And I will tell other people as wellDerek H.

When I reserved the 15ft moving truck online I thought I selected check out at the counter vs the mobile app; however, when I called to verify with the location if they received my reservation and if they had a 15ft truck available, I was told I have self check out. I was surprised, since I intended on checking out at the counter and knew I would not have time for mobile check out. I had issues with the app, had to call customer service, they reset my pickup preferences, stayed on the line with me through the whole pickup process, had a few issues along the way. I was at the uhaul rental location for at least 45 mins trying to pickup the moving truck and left feeling very frustrated. However, I loved the customer service rep who assisted on the phone. She helped speed along the process when we encountered issues; otherwise, it probably would have taken a lot longer. If it's your first time renting from uhaul and using their mobile app for self-serve, I would recommend giving yourself at least an hour.Christina J.

Staff was excellent, but you do not resource this area. The equipment needed wasn't there. The contract was slated for a hopeful return, that didn't occur. The fall back was to get a text on Saturday, (before the Monday morning intended p/u). Central reservations (Amy-was nice and helpful as your system apparently is limited) advised me of a Logan, UT area that wasn't open on Sunday. Ogden site was open from 9 am -noon that saved my day, but was 4 hours of travel and $60 in gas. You need to be more up front and realistic on reservations. You're equipment quality would more than enough allowed me to optimistically PLANNED on going to the alternate location, rather than spring it on me on the weekend.dan R.
