Nothing was like it was explained over the phone. The lady that helped us acted like she didn't know what she was doing. We drove 2 hours & there is not a restroom????…

Deborah LKim was very polite and helpful. I ran late for my pickup and she called to check that I was coming. I showed up right at closing and she waited to let me turn the truck in. The truck ran fine. Very good experience and would rent from here again. Parking lot was a little rough but nothing to really complain about.

Brian DThis storage location does not open until 9am. You cannot do an after hours drop off because there is nowhere to park the vehicle. Additionally, I filled the gas tank up to where it was supposed to be. I was then charged for 2 gallons of gas. 2 gallons! How in the world could you tell that marker needed 2 more gallons in the tank? I thought it was shady.

The agent was able to do it with her IPhone but my Android phone would not. She told me she had the same issue with another person's Android phone. TAWANA TFirst month rent was supposed to be free because I had rented a U-Haul truck to move, After they charged my credit card the first month I of course asked why. They said it was that the first month after the first paid month was the free month. When they charged my card the second month I asked again about the free month and they apparently "missed it in the records and we will clear it up next month," I think you can see where this is going. After 13 months of renting a unit we have moved out and they said that the free month would be refunded to my card. We emptied the unit on November 17, 2022 and have seen no refund on the card by December 7th. Please note that for the 13 months that we used the unit they never failed to charge the card promptly on the first day of the month. I would also like to say that we moved out on a Saturday morning and I had forgotten which unit number we had rented (I thought I remembered but the lock was not the right one when I looked at it). I called the office for assistance and got no answer until a callback on Monday morning when a very nice lady called and asked if I had received assistance on Saturday and I had to tell her no (I took the opportunity to discuss the free month with her and she said she would discuss it with management and to her credit she called me back and said I would receive the credit on my card). I would also like to note that the security gate was open when I arrived on Saturday morning and that I did not see anyone there at all except the team I was with to load my unit out. I stopped by the office when we were leaving and it was locked up. All in all I had a good experience with the company. None of our items were missing and everything stayed dry for the 13 months of storage. My two reasons for the below average review are the free month I was told I would get and for the lack of supervision of the gate on the day we moved out. Hopefully I will see the refund soon on my card statement.

Everyone there is incredibly friendly and helpful, however, the units and facility area leave a lot to be desired. The roads to access the units are terrible and if I didn't have an SUV I would not have dared to try to drive through there. We also had to throw away quite a bit of our things because there was rat poop and urine on everything that we stored. Sadly, our $700 area rug was completely destroyed among other things. Our boxes were chewed through and covered in mouse and rat droppings. I would say if you're looking to store things that aren't furniture or valuable then this place is fine, but it was disappointing to have to throw so much away when we only used our unit for 2 months while we moved.

Keisha FAbsolutely no customer service. I had to hook up the Uhaul car trailer to my Uhaul 15' truck on my own. Associate did not leave the office. Was not shown how the fender on the trailer folds down. I drove up on the trailer and the door would not open. I had to crawl out the window to get out. Also, the associate did not check to see if everything was hooked up properly, tail lights operational, etc. Fortunately I have experience towing vehicles. I cannot imagine what it would have been like for others with little or no experience. Also, the facility was in terrible shape. Pot holes everywhere. Difficult to navigate around the facility. One last thing, when I was finished, my hands were very dirty. Associate handed me a couple of paper towels with no offer to use the restroom to clean up.
Robert LI was supposed to pick the truck up at 8am at one location. After 45 minutes on the phone with customer service there was no key to get the truck and it was the wrong equipment in the truck so I then had to go to another location which the truck was ready when I got there. I was refunded 50$ but that didn't even cover the cost of paying the movers for the hour lost that morning trying to get a truck I reserved DAYS before. Then when dropping the truck off I was charged for an extra day and now have to wait 3-5 for a refund on MY money that never should have been taken to being with. Absolutely horrible experience with U-Haul. Moving is stressful enough and this made it that much worse

So, I was a little upset that I had to go to a location that was further away from my house than I wanted.

I do not know what your policy is on trucks, but this one needs to be a local only rental and not a 500 mile truck. The lady I spoke with in Rock Hill, could not have been more accommodating and I will use them again if an when I rent with u-haul. I appreciate her helping me and being so polite.
