The reservation process was a disaster. We were told to pick it up at 2:45 on Thursday. The day before we are told to we have to pick it up by 12:30 cause they close at 1:00. Not iron guards fault. Reservation person unaware for some reason. We told area manager that he should pass that info on to reservations. He said not his problem. Guy was pretty much a jerk. Then when we show up to pick up trailer, they don't have it in their system. Iron Guard spent 10 minutes on phone getting things switched because area manager guy didn't do something that he was supposed to.MARCUS O.
This isn't about the location but uhaul in general: When someone has a reservation for a truck and they call 2 days prior to make sure they aren't going to have issues with picking up the truck (like they did with the last rental) that you actually have the truck. We rented 2 trucks in less than a week and in both cases the truck wasn't available when we went to pick it up. I will probably not be doing business with uhaul againShannon D.

The individual who assisted us for the rental was phenomenal. However, we initially were scheduled out of Henderson, KY. We were late to picking up our rental and then the dispatcher in Louisville rented out our vehicle that we had reserved for the next 24 hours. We were NOT notified and did not receive any phone call, text, or email. We drove an hour to get to Henderson only to find out this information. After spending half an hour on the phone with uhaul Louisville dispatch, we finally were able to get another Uhaul in Newburgh, IN, which was another 45 minutes out of our way. It was an utter disaster and the staff who I spoke to was very unfriendly and insisted that they did call us to inform us, but did not. I personally will not be using uhaul in the future due to the lack of communication and the poor customer service that came from the Louisville branch.Elizabeth B.

They were very professional! The lady in Evansville Indiana was very rude n when we got there she had already rented our truck!! We will never go to that one again. Alot of people have said that she has been rude to them n also rented their truck out from underneath them!!! Very unprofessionalLisa H.

Technical problems with app, long wait on phone for help via call to customer service, resulted in 1,5 hrs delay in pick up before location opened. Customer service number was not answered. None of the equipment I reserved was in truck. Had to wait an additional 30 min for location to open to get dollies and blankets. Then they did not have everything we had reserved. Also the return address changed in the app and I had to spend an additional 45 minutes online with customer service to get it corrected. Have not yet seen credit for items not available that we were charged for. Totally frustrating process.Gary S.

No documentation signed, no proof of documentation of mileage or fuel. Was overcharged for mileage and fuel. Per your agent I used 10 gallons of fuel for 34 miles of use. Contacted you for remedy of charges, still have not heard from a manager. DO NOT USE Iron Guard at the Newburgh Indiana location, unless you want to be financially raped.David H.

The representative never check the gas, and next thing I know I am checking my account and there is an additional 87 $charge. The representative in Oklahoma gave the vehicle to me with 3/4 of a tank, and that was the amount we left in the vehicle. I am requesting a refund.CAROLYN G.

I would definitely recommend them for all U-Haul needs she was polite and very quick!! I started out my reservation at Riverside U-Haul and they rented my truck out to the people in front of me that needed and had reservations for 15 needless to say after waiting 2 1/2 hours in line I was not happy when she said I would have to either reschedule or take a 17! I was even madder when she called out for the person who had reservations for the 17 to make sure he wasn't in line and she did not do that for me! Thanks to who ever she called that found me a truck i was able to move all my stuff 3 1/2 hours away.Paula L.
They did have the truck and the furniture pads that I had reserved, but they did not have the appliance dolly, which was a big deal as I was moving a washer/dryer and fridge. They were able to make adjustments to make this right, but I have to be honest that I would be nervous to rent from here again in case they don't have the equipment I reserved.Katherine B.

I rented a truck from another Uhaul location in Evansville, 10 miles from the Newburgh, Indian location and the truck was more modern, quieter and it was super clean when I picked up. The Newburgh location needs clean and up to date trucks.Theresa C.

The Iron Gate Location was the first place I rented a truck. I tried renting a truck from there a second time and my conformation came back at a different area. I also wanted to pick up at noon on Saturday. I get a call from the other place telling me that I was to pick up the truck at 9 am. I was able to get at 11 am before they closed. The online method did not tell me this. The renter was kind and understood the situation. The truck was clean.Robert P.

Had to call the 800 number once more during the drop off of the truck because after telling your representatives more than once that I wanted my drop off location changed to a different location than the one generated by your website, it was never updated on my account. However once the representative on the phone updated the drop off location for me, the mobile drop off was a much easier experience than the pick up. Both locations and representatives that I dealt with were fine but the web pick up and drop off definitely needs some attention.Brandon O.
