Jack , manager make arrangements for me to pick up truck after he heard about all the issues I had with obtaining a truck with location change. Initial check in with Teresa was challenging but she apologized and offered credit for mileage discrepancies.

Jack was wonderful with assisting me. The facility was clean and he had me on the road quickly. Unfortunately your survey doesn’t ask about the process prior to me ending up there. First, when signing up to rent the uhaul I got texts stating that I had to call uhaul, so I did. I was told I would be picking up 20 mins away from my house, not the location (or the 5 other locations) that were close to me that I had selected on the website (why even let me choose?). I stated how unhappy I was with the pickup location on the call and your rep did not care at all and continued to repeat the time and location before ending the call. Once that call was over I received another text telling me I needed to call the pickup location to verify everything. What do you guys do if I’m having to do all the correspondence? They stated it was there and ready for pickup the next day. I showed up the next day on time and the person responsible wasn’t there. The other people working at that location had to use my cell phone to try and contact her, no luck. They stated I was welcome to wait until she showed up, “probably like 20 more minutes.” When I called the uhaul line I was put on hold while they also tried to contact someone, again no luck. At this point it’s 45 mins after pickup time. I was told I’d be getting a $50 reimbursement and there was another location for me to go to, another 10 minutes out from where I already was. At this point I’m 30 minutes away from my house and get to drive back past several uhaul locations before I get home. This is the worst customer service I’ve received from a national company by far. If you were a mom and pop shop trying to get things going I’d understand, but you’re not. You’re supposed to be the pinnacle of moving rentals. The reps I dealt with may as well have been reading from a prompt because there was no attempt to provide satisfactory service. I got back home to start packing 1.5 hours after I was supposed to pickup the first uhaul, I’m glad you predetermined my time was worth $50. I would have gladly returned the money to deal with a competent company.
