The trailer we rented was not hitched correctly and came off while driving. The roadside assistance eventually came to our home and we had to drive it to another location to exchange it. Someone could've been killed and no one even offered a discount. ItCasey H.

Izzy is really helpful!!! He hooked me right up w a truck and was very fast getting me to my rental!!! Excellent customer servicebarbara M.
The truck was filthy and stank of cigarette smoke. I had to clean the cab, santize it, spray with Fabreze and air out over night before I could stand to be in it. The clerk told me that she was using the truck as her personal vehicle...and had to remove her belongings before I could take it. It had food residue in the cubbie and spillage on the cup holders.jay B.
I haven't had issues with Uhaul in the past, but this experience was not as good as my others. I usually complete online check in, but was having trouble this time so I went into the office. The office was dirty and smelled like cigarette smoke. The lady that helped me was kind, but clearly intoxicated. Her speech was slurred. She was twitching, jittery, and uncontrollably sniffling. She had a bit of trouble checking me in and thought I might have to pay, so I handed her my card. The credit card machine was unplugged and I had to wait for her to plug it back in. She was struggling because she was shaking so much. She was trying to plug it in, but couldn't stand still to do it. After all of that, she realized I didn't need to pay. Instead of handing my card back, threw it to the side on the counter, as if she forgot what she was even doing. When I opened the back of the truck, the furniture blankets were laying there. I folded them back into the pouch. The truck also needed swept. I do not suggest this location. It was the sketchiest Uhaul location that I have been to.Erin S.

Location was closed with deliveries, blankets and such laying about outside. The truck was older with ripped pretty badly torn up seats but otherwise clean in the cab. In very good working condition. Blankets were thrown carelessly just inside the â€œboxâ€ as well as a large appliance cart that was left unsecured. I folded the blankets and move them along with the cart to the far front of the box. App Check in went a while because the app wasn't responding at first. All in all though, it was a quick, easy, convenient process. I haven't received a receipt as of yet (over 2 weeks).Bea G.

Nice guy to work with. Sarah at the Richwood location was as well. But the people from Cincinnati who called a day before the scheduled pick up were rude, unprofessional, and "the manager" hung up on me when I mentioned that I would be recording the rest of our call due to his language and attitude toward a long-time customer. He did not give me any paper and he changed to my drop off location without my permission. Drop off location was very far away from my house I was choosing very closer one also after I drop of the truck that location charge me extra 6 dollars something like that which is weird there is no explanation before I drop my truck I called to the costumer service and they told me that you need to drop of the truck just that location and I did. Anyway it was a bad experience for meCengiz E.
We were overcharged about $35-$40 dollars at our turn in. Charged for 2 extra days, but was only one.Filled truck to half tank which was 1/4 of the gas gauge at pickup and was charged $18 for a quarter tank of gas. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Made my disabled husband stand outside in 26 degree weather waiting on rental car (which was late of course) instead of letting him stand inside warm building where there absolutely no customers inside. Again, I highly DO NOT recommend this location for a rental whether pickup or drop off. Never again will we use them.RICKY F.

Multiple attempts to call the published number on the U-Hauls website received a "call can not go through". Upon arrival to the location, the door was locked, lights off (at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday 9/7/2021). They had U-haul dollys sitting out on the sidewalk in front of the store. The drop-off space where I left the trailer was immediately next to dumpsters (extremely smelly location). While I have been a long-time U-Haul user/supporter, this dealership is a terrible representation of a great brand name. Approximately 3/4 mile down the road is a full-service location which I will gladly use in the future however I would strongly suggest you remove the privileges with Izzy's Gold - there are NOT a good representation of the U-haul name.LEONARD R.

This was the worst experience. The person was not there either time I went during normal business hours. I called and there was no answer nor no return call. Izzy Golf is a horrible location. Plus the return procedure failed several times. I called customer service and was disconnected twice. It was horrible.LAVETTE B.

I was asked to move my pick up time back because the guy was leaving and would make it back until 12:30 so that pushed back my moving time. I show up at 12:45 and there was a lady smoking a cigarette sitting outside who was on the phone with the guy. She asked how many miles I was going to use. I said 50ish because i needed it from florence to Alexandria then I would drop it off in alexandria. She said ok. Now I have been told I'm not getting that 155 back because I was told to bring it back to that location. When that NEVER HAPPENED! I DO NOT recommend this location or company at all. Unless you want to be charged 155 dollars more.Kalee H.

Our communication with this location was excellent. They also saved us from being in a bind for our out of state move. When we booked our reservation through 1-800-...-.... , we specifically requested an auto transport, instead 1-800-...-.... , reserved a tow dolly. I tried to correct it through 1-800-...-... , and was told they did not have an auto transport. We called this location, and they had caught the mistake and saved an auto transport for us. We greatly appreciate them being pro-active along with their excellent customer service.Joshua J.

Izzy, the owner, worked directly with me and was fantastic to work with. He made our move affordable with very reasonable rates. Even when we thought we'd need an extra day, it was no problem at all. Highly recommend this UHaul location when you need to make your next move!Diane P.

There was no sign identifying the business. I had to walk in to a back room to locate a worker and business counter. It seemed â€œshadyâ€. I was charged for and extra 2 miles over the limit. If I had not been searching for â€œIzzy's Golfâ€in the area causing extra mileage, I would not have been over.Gerald M.

Is the worts uhaul office that I ever been at, is a dirty and smelly place, I waited in the reception for about 25 minutes because the lady on front was sleeping on a room in the back, she woke up with a very rude attitude and she never Check the equipment I rented.Jose V.

The Kentucky Location was great. The Glendale Heights drop off location charged me $20 EXTRA even though I dropped off 2 days earlier beÃ§ause I dropped after hours and didn't check in my self "WHICH THEY NEVER TOLD.ME THAT AT ALL. This guy should not be a U-Haul provider. The place was filthy! It smelled like cigarettes and dog. A little dog came out to bark at us. It didn't bother me, but, I was surprized it was there. There was all kinds of junk there. He did not have a second furniture dolly there or the required number of pads we reserved. We had to go to the location in Elsmere, KY to get the missing items. The people there were very professional and helpful. It was a lady and a man that helped us and apologized for us having to go to Izzy Golf. Obviously, they must be aware of problems with that location. Drop Izzy Golf. He was cordial enough, but, the place was disgusting!KEITH GORDON Z.

Truck door was wedged open because clasp was open and it took 30 minutes to get door closed. Appliance dolly was not in truck. I had to get one from another location. I would not recommend this facility.Tom H.
Arrived before 11 am there was a sign on door stating at lunch be back at 2pm I came back at 2 and door still shut with same sign on it. The person in store next to it stated he sleeps in there because he drives long hauls there's a drop box outside buildingMELANIESUE P.

Got to location had to call 10 times.Izzy charged to 40 in order to hook car up on trailer.Trailer given flat tire plus he crash the trailer into the dumpster.Then hooked up a second trailer the back right lights didn't work he said he could not fix them.I had to go to another location.Now I'm mad as ever .Went to Uhaul store there was no one there that could fix the problem.Now I had to pull over somewhere in order call for help.email didn't work for me I called and waited 40 minutes then waited 2 hours for service.This from the start is not Exceptable at all.I need a manager to call me. 708-288-6095KIRK F.
