The place is a mechanic shop so uhaul customers treated as 2nd degree citizens. I walked in the office where a woman sitting on desk on her cellphone, she put the phone away from her ears and looked at me asking how can she help me " using eye contact without saying a word!" Then she said one minute " same way using her hand this time" and went back to her phone after about 15 minutes she hung up and gave me some attention. Then the mechanic hooked the trailer to my vehicle .... less than 1/2 a mile down the road the trailer cameout the hitch ball and remained connected with the chain only the guy that hooked it up never tied the bolt that secure the trailer to the hitch. For about 2-3 minutes of the most .......

The location and servicer was fine. What I had a problem with was for a $19,95 rental it cost me over $60 and the van was back in 4 hours.

Trailer lights were not working and I was told side markers were reflectors that did not light up. Only brake lamps and turn signal worked. With that said I called uhaul and was sent to another uhaul where they fix all lighting taking up 2hrs of my time.

Rented twice from this location with the same vehicle trailer. Both times the passenger side tires of the trailer were flat to the point where I had to put air in myself. The straps are failing due as they are frayed and the jack to raise and lower the trailer doesn't work. The owner does not care of these issues either.

When I went to go pick up the truck, which was not even the original location that I reserved for, there was no key in the lockbox. There was not even a lock on the lockbox. The location was closed so there was no one to help. Had to call Uhaul to get another truck but there was none available.

requested rt. 9 old bridge - was assigned Englishtown rd. fine. I reserved the trailer and a dozen moving blankets. the location is a garage and had no blankets. I was forced to go to a Uhaul location and buy bubble wrap so i did not have to drop off 2 separate items at 2 locations. The web site and reservation process is very unorganized.

Truck should be inspected. Side mirror cracked, windshield filthy, no windshield wash fluid, lights are so dim I could not drive after dark. Renter should be given a tutorial on basics about the truck. I drove out having no idea how to properly operate the equipment. All I got was a "good luck."

Give the owners uhaul rental equipment such as dollies and packing blankets.

There was a mix up and no one was at the location of our reserved time. When calling the main uhaul number, they were very good at handling the situation. They contacted the person and he showed up in about 20 minutes. Other than that I would recommend.

Not lie to the customers and over charge them for mileage they didn't use . We used 21 miles and were charged for 53 miles crooks ..... Honestly

I was charge for two days why I returned the van in time the store was close and the app was down no communication whatsoever I call the store the number was by the door 4 pm and I left voice mail was no reason to change another day
