The truck we reserved ended up not being available so we were stuck with a smaller truck that didn't fit all of our stuff. We were also informed there was no mobile check in available even though that was an option during reservation so then we lost out on an hour and a half of usage because we couldn't pick up the truck until the store opened. The truck wasn't ready to go when we arrived to pick it up. Very disappointing.MARKRICHARD M.

I was pretty darn happy with everything. I figured out how to unhook and disconnect everything having had past experience but I think it might be good for people to be offered a run through on it? Its too bad the trailer tongues don't have the post to lower so you can just crank it and unhook the trailer without having to lift it off the ball but that isn't something a local dealer can do of course.Karen T.

1. The parking lot is a real mess and maneuvering a truck thru that mess is quite difficult. 2. During the pick up of the key, the web site is calling for a mail box to draw the key when in fact the key was actually located on the vehicle itself. Really confusing.Alin S.

Not a thing! I had last minute changes that included a larger truck and an extra day. Bob was so helpful and stress was greatly relieved!Catherine H.
Due to pickup location not able to accept cash had to secure with credit card and was told could pay cash upon dropping off. At this drop off location was advised payment already processed on credit card. Wasn't able to reverse charges so I could pay cash. Didn't have the extra day in the system given from uhaul because of having to pickup at a different location. Charged extra day for insurance. The insurance wasn't covered nor was it mentioned that I would have an extra charge with an extra day given for the inconvenience of having to pickup at another location further away. On hold with customer service for an hour and still no representative available to take my call. Returned truck with more fuel than what left with. No credit for excess fuel. Overall. Won't be using UHaul agin for my next move.Connor S.

Barry's Bay location called 2 days before my scheduled my pickup that UHAUL did not notify me. Of the closure of their location.Nearest location petawawa. 110km one way. Extra 220km and 3 hrs of driving. Not acceptable. I require customer service.Donald W.

I have rented a cargo trailer 3-4 times in the past year and the owners at this location are amazing people. They could not be more helpful and friendly. I waited in the rain for 10 mins for an employee to hook up the enclosed trailer I rented. The 2nd word out of his mouth was cursing about this is not his job, saying he had to punch out and wasn't getting paid to do this. When I offered to help hook it up he said no cursed a bunch more then said he would be sued if it's not hooked up properly. I tried to joke to defuse his aggressive behaviour by saying well at least it's you being sued and not me. Then he said his lawyers would look after that because no (more cursing) way he's paying for it. I'm not sure if the employee has issues but he should not be dealing with customers or people. Worse experience ever renting anything.Andrew D.

The trailer had dirt and broken glass in it. No problem as I was able to clean. The ball on the trailer was not tight and I lost the trailer although the chains held and I was able to pull over. We had to massively crank on the knob to tighten the ball but it was very hard to turn. I had to have friends jump on the back of the trailer to even allow us to tighten down the ball. Something is not right with that ball. Also, scarred the crap out of me and my passenger when it let go. I have been pull trailers for decades and I have never lost one. that being said, mistakes happen and it is how you deal with the situation.Shannon G.

Our original truck had a leak in the roof. We had to be given the largest truck available. Furthermore, the billing for uhaul makes no sense.Nadeem D.
Honestly not giving the greatest review. I was SHOCKED to find out that I had to pay 190 $when we returned the keys. After UHAUL took 169 $out of my bank. I knew we would have a balance owing because we needed to make an extra trip. But I wasn't expecting to pay the total amount AGAIN plus the extra for the extra KMs we used. I was told my original payment would be returned in 2 days or less. It's going on 3 days now and no refund in my account. I have 5 small children and the money that I had to use to pay for the same fee the second time was our grocery money. We just moved into a new house & now they're suffering because I don't have the money to buy anything extra for them to eat. So thank you UHAUL for the "hold" on my first payment. Totally unfair to us. As for the lady at the desk, she was fine. She gave us the number to call UHAUL where they said the same thing she did. Not happy at allShawn P.
The first trailer we picked up we drove it home about a 20 minute drive when we got there the rite back brake was stuck on and the wheel was hot!we phoned a back it went lucky he had another one. I had no problem from there it was a 6 hour drive and returned it to the new home without a problemRod W.
