The truck cargo area was dirty and needed sweeping but otherwise things were clean.

Spent 30 minutes trying to return the trailer bon the app and spent another 30 minutes on hold also had to return back to the trailer another 30 minutes to follow additional steps told by the U-Haul rep to close the return on the app. This would have been avoided if the app would have asked me to use Google chrome instead of the app if I was using a Android phone.

Make sure the windshield is clean and there is fluid in the windshield wipers. There was no fluid in the truck we rented. Always have a full tank of gas so it is easy to have the same amount of gas in it when you return it. This location didn't have much to choose from. We wanted a pickup truck and a tow dolley, but had to rent a 15 foot box truck and tow dolley. All we needed to do was tow our car, we didn't have anything in the box truck.

My wife picked up the trailer and was not familiar with the hook-up. Asked for help and was told that it was self-explanatory. After struggling for about an hour, someone came out and told her that the ball on the receiver was the wrong size. It is not. They were going to let her drive off the u-haul site with an inappropriately attached trailer.Then they called me as I was returning it and asked if I could send them a photo of the hook-up. No help at all. Also their hours of operation are minimal .

I thought the mileage charge covered the fuel. The truck I rented was at half a tank when I picked it up so how was I supposed to be able to refuel it back to that point? I only drove it about 60 miles.

Same comment as above. This time no one was at the location when we returned the truck on Tuesday at 1p. We expected to have the location office open to drop off the keys. Drop box wasn't obvious and we had to call and wait for help from u haul. This could be fixed with one more screen that has specific location details in the app

Reservations and check in was a breeze! Great customer service! We called in to reserve the truck and when we arrived we were immediately greeted. We went through the check in process in less than 10 minutes and were on way! Thanks so much!

One of the customer service persons an older lady was rude and wanted me to stand and wait a while so she could make a couple of calls for the business at that location even after I called ahead to make sure pickup was ok to do in a few minutes of arrival. The younger lady that checked me in was more cordial and professional.

The truck size we were supposed to pick up was not ready for the mobile pick up. It said the key needed to be hand delivered - but it was after hours (our scheduled pick up time was 6:30, and they close at 6:00). We had to call Uhaul customer service since after hours and speak to rep. All told it took about 45 minutes to get a larger truck. In the end it worked out, but it was a hassle.

Web reservation did not work. Luckily they still had the trailer i needed. Focus less on selling pads and fix the online reservation system.

The location needed pictures, front and rear of my DL. The website used for uploading is dependant on good internet service and a decent smartphone. Neither were present. Location should have the abilitybro scan what they need and not be dependant on the customer. What should have been a 15 minute pick up took an hour or more. In 30 years of being a U-Haul customer all over the USA, picking up equipment has never taken this long. Or been this painful.

I had an urgent need to rent a 6x12' utility trailer to recover some items targeted for theft from my late Father's home. I arrived at the location to rent the trailer and was told that it was past the rental deadline time if 3:30 PM. After explaining my situation to the young lady working inside the rental area she was able to reserve the trailer for me and allow me to take it at that time. I really appreciated her willingness to help me in a time of need despite their policy of stopping rentals at 3:30 PM.

5 stars bc Jack's motor sports deserves it for compensating me on uhauls miscommunications. I rented this trailer closer to home and uhaul took the liberty to change it to Jack's motor sports which was 40 mins from where I live in the wrong direction of where I was going. Jack's reimbursed me for the inconvience and was very professional and polite and accommodating through the rental process.

The app on my Samsung phone wouldn't let me take pictures so that was annoying and could have been bad had someone else not been there with me. Otherwise, good experience

We almost received a rusted furniture utility dolly and they switched it out for us. Only thing I would recommend is this company take initiative to check the vehicles and check their status further than just gas levels. We received a dirty cabin truck and had to clean it before driving it. They didn't even know which truck we were supposed to get. They just told us the number of the truck and said go find it. Not impressed completely this time. Have dropped off rentals several times before but haven't picked up until this time.

Did not provide moving blankets. It seemed like an inconvenience to them to ask for what I paid for. They provided 11 dirty blankets instead of 24 clean blankets that I paid for. Will not use this location again.

Took forever to find reservation in computer and get keys. Didn't have right size trailer or appliance dolly that were on the reservation. Trailer wasn't connected to truck correctly. Would never reserve from here again.

EXPERIENCE FROM HELL!!!! I wouldn't recommend U-Haul to anyone! The reason I'm rating Jacks high is because of the level of customer service we received. They were the only company that was able to assist with us getting a truck close to 24 hours later. So, let me start by saying I called U-Haul at 12:12 in the afternoon to get a truck and was told someone would be calling me within an hour. I guess all of their clocks stopped working because 3 hours had passed and noone called me back. I called U-Haul and spoke to a lady and explained to her that I had waited for3 hours but she proceeded to tell me that it was the end of the month and the size truck I needed they were trying to find. So, she transferred me to a gentleman who said the only truck they were able to find was 40 miles away from my home. I asked if he could hold on for one minute while I went to get my card to pay but he hung up. After waiting for the length of time that I did to speak to a representative, you would think 1 minute wouldn't be too long for him to hold on. I called back and explained my situation to the next representative who was very nice, found a truck for me and told me that business closed at 7:00 p.m. I left home at 5 00 to go pick up the truck and the business closed at 5:00. This location was 30 minutes from where I live. Now I'm really mad because not only was my time wasted but my gas was also. I decided to call U-Haul once again to let them know what happened and I spoke to a lady who said she would transfer me to someone that would help me. Guess who that was? The gentleman from earlier that hung up the phone who never tried to call back or anything. I let him know he had hung up the phone on me earlier that day and of course he said my call came through another line so he didn't have the number to call back. Now, he is on the line speaking with me and said the truck he found earlier that day was 40 miles away and that was still available. I clearly said to him if I get there and there is no truck I'm going off on someone. He assured me the business opened at 9:00 am and that I would have a truck. The next day I drove 40 miles to pick up the truck only to get there and they were closed. Now I'm really really ??!!!!!! I called the phone number on the door and a lady answered and said she would have the owner call me back.... which he did. He was very apologetic and said we could still complete the transaction but I had to download U-Hauls app and if I had any problems to call him back... which I did. The app asked for permission to access my location and I allowed that. Location services wasn't picking this U-Haul location up so I called back to the number on the door and left a message for him to please return my call. After waiting for 20+ minutes I decided to leave and and try to rent from Budget...(this was no better). I called back to U-Haul once again and pressed the button where I wanted to talk about a problem I had.

This vehicle clearly needs maintenance. It rides very rough and is hard to handle. The left window crank is missing the knob. Otherwise, fine. Good service at Jack's Sport shop. Nice people
