JAY J.Truck rented through 800 uhaul number, arrived at location to be told it shouldn't have been rented as it wasn't ready. So interior was not as clean as it should have been. Truck was rented with purpose of TOWING car dolly at other location, however truck did NOT come with a trailer hitch or ball! Arrived at other location to pickup trailer to be told they didn't have any for us to use or buy and had to borrow one from a friend 5 minutes before they closed.

Nothing major but a little inconvenient and a tad gross. My main issue is with the errors I got with the U-haul app for both the pick-up and return of the vehicle.

They brought the truck from another location and we told them we would be there by the end of the day ! Got there at 2:30 and the truck had been given to someone else ! B.S.!
debbie D.I will be calling into corporate to request a refund. This experience was HORRIBLE!!! When we picked up the uHaul in South Carolina, the office was not open to purchase any wardrobe boxes, tape, etc. The employee was very short with us and didn't tell us anything about the process….and LEFT the site before we had even finished the contract. We get the moving truck home and there are no moving blankets or a dolly….which we were expecting it because it was put on the reservation. The brakes on the truck were squeaky and the tires were BALD!!!!! Because the moving blankets and dolly we rented weren't in the truck, we had to go out of our way to a home improvement store to buy blankets and wardrobe boxes. Then we get in the road and the check engine light comes on, the windshield wipers are terrible, and the steering wheel shook the entire drive. Then the back driver tire starts to wobble. This put my husbands life AT RISK! So we pulled over in Corbin, KY and called UHaul Roadside Assistance. We waited 2 hours before we were able to have a tire technician come out. The tire technician even mentioned that the tires were bald and shouldn't have been on the truck. When he noticed the tire needed replaced-he had to call uHaul to get permission to replace it. The technician said uHaul was picky about changing tires…..if a tire needs changed, IT NEEDS CHANGED! We were also never told that we had to return the vehicle with the same amount of gas (refer to the guy left the site before we got in the truck) I will NEVER rent from uHaul again and telling all my friends and family about this HORRIBLE experience.

Scott C.The side mirrors were scratched up, the U-Haul whined and struggled to get to 45 mph, no ac, people not in office at times posted online and did not return my calls! Worst ever.
KIM F.First the location I had to pick it up from was different than the location in my confirmation email, and I wasn't made aware of that until I showed up at the wrong place to get the truck. Then when I did get the truck the air conditioner wouldn't even blow cold air, which sucked since I was charged the same as people who rent trucks with A/C. The ABS warning light come on almost as soon as you started driving the truck every time, and if you turned the steering wheel all the way in one direction the truck would wine and an alarm would start going off, which was really annoying when trying to maneuver that big truck in tight places. If I ever decide to rent a truck again, I'll definitely be more picky about what truck I get, and at least make sure I get the same features other customers that paid the same price.

Richard M.The staff at Jam Pac was very courteous and helpful. The only negative issue I experienced was the location of the truck I rented. I arrived at Jam Pac to pick up the truck. While waiting in line to be served, I received a phone call from Eagle One, saying the truck I rented was at their business, not Jam Pac. My son and I drove a few miles to where our truck was located, putting us a half-hour behind on a very tight moving schedule. In fact, after working very hard to complete the move within the timeframe I'd requested, I didn't get the truck back to Eagle One on time, adding unnecessary stress to the move. I know Eagle One is establishing itself as a U-Haul rental site, but I don't think I should have to drive to a second location to secure the truck I'd rented. Clearer communication before the rental day would've prevented this. Still, the staff I dealt with were excellent.

Robert T.I was to pickup the truck at one location, i had no clue I did the ride share or what its called. The office at the location was closed and I had to go to the other office to get it fixed. Now about the truck, it was in ok condition for the mileage, the wipers did not work only when used the washer mode.(Safety issue)
