No jack to remover trailer from hitch. Had to use my car jack. Not helpful

Terry JenningsThe vehicle had no working rear lights so we could not go to the new location until the following morning. We booked the rental through the Janetville location as it was closest to home. We were told that they were not able to provide a 26ft unit at that location, so we booked through Hampton which meant we had to pay extra mileage. I happened to be in the vicinity of the Janetville store the other day and guess what...there were TWO 26ft vans in the parking lot! Not happy that we had to go out of our way for this rental
VaL HutsellThe review is about vehicle rather than location. The vehicle break was bad and it was giving a Shake to the vehicle even with shower speed and sometime when the acceleration was given it was having trouble. The pick up of the vehicle is very bad and I had hard time to travel all the way from Hamilton til Hampton. Hope you consider this comment and fix the vehicle to make other customer experience right. Consider this as request for giving a discount on the price which has already been billed for.

Patrick CunninghamCustomer service from this place is horrible and the uhaul privilege should be removed. This guy from james convenience likes to threaten and tell you lies. He threaten to charge me double and to have the uhaul trucked towed. My wife is 8 months pregnant and this guy made her go into the hospital with all is nonsense. Never again will i use uhaul. I was charged 453 for a truck that i put on 200kms and had for 3 days. Hmm little pricey. Ot impressed. I will let the fb world know about thia as well.

Rino MazzocchiStaff that was working was friendly and super helpful…UNFORTUNATELY, Truck was frozen to the ground in 3 feet of ice. I fell twice and got both my feet soaked in water past my ankles. Had to wave someone in off the street with a truck to tow the Uhaul out of the ice. The clerk at the store was laying salt and trying to break the ice but unfortunately it wasn't enough to cope with the conditions that the owner/landlord keeps the property. Also the dolly I had paid for was not with the truck and I never was offered or received a refund upon truck return.

DOUG LEWIS5 out of 5 for this location. After a terrible experience at another location I was blown away at the quality of service that was provided. The individual at this location was polite, professional and efficient. They came out to confirm fuel levels and condition upon drop off. Zero issues. Best uhaul experience to date.

Michael FlemingWhen doing everything online, can you please show the status of the fuel Guage on the app, a reference to the image uploaded on check in, and this mysterious chart that helps estimate the amount of fuel needed to top it up? Otherwise it was great. Add the feature above and you win.

Janice RiseleyCheck that check engine light isn't on and that photos on file have all the pre-existing damage. Also make sure the gas tank was full. Also don't change the pickup location the day before. Bring the truck to the originally scheduled pickup location don't make people go to another location.

Zackary DingwallThe owner started to take my info to get the van and stopped in the middle to help another customer who came into buy lottery tickets. I thought this was so odd and had to wait 5 minutes while he stopped helping me to help them? He was working with me on a transaction and stopped in the middle of it. The van was filthy and smelled rotten. I had to clean it before I could use it but the smell remained. It was foul. Never again. Thanks
Marva WardI was surprised at the final bill. I was led to believe the rate was $19,95 but I was charged $109. Unsure what the extra cost was a result of but it was not jade clear ahead of time. Very disappointed and I hope it can be rectified.

Donald MacDonaldI booked online and paid online. Once arrived to pickup trailer, it took 15 mins of the retailer having to do stuff on a computer and cell phone to be able to get going. And then The return was a long drawn out process of back and forth on the phone and computer. Just seems unnecessarily complicated.

Terry PetersonWorst rental experience ever. It's December in Ontario Canada, there was NO windshield washer fluid in van. It was so dangerous and unsafe to be driving that we had to turn around and return before able to complete our mission. Then the location we rented from couldn't even fix the situation just gave us the customer service number to call. Unacceptable.
RENEE F VAN DORSSERI reserved a truck 2+ weeks before my scheduled move. However, I was notified less then 24 hours before that a truck was not available on the day and time I requested, and that the location for pick up changed as well (farther away). What an inconvenience!

ADRIAN GREENThis location would be rated much higher if there was lighting around the U-Haul vehicles that were being picked-up. It was extremely dark and I had to use a flashlight to take walk around the vehicle. Had I known that the area would not be lit, I might have taken someone else with me for pick-up.

JOHN MEENANThe mirrors could not be adjusted and the bracket for the sun shield on the drivers side was broken. I had to manufacture a bracket to hold the shield in place. The printer was not working and I still do not have a copy of my contract and the representative was non apologetic and sarcastic. If the move was not an emergency I would not have accepted the unit
CASSIE HARVIEI wasn't able to use the trailer because my UTV didn't fit, so I went back to return but didn't have anything to replace so they send me to another location which I got the right size trailer. Sadly they don't want to refund me anything on the incorrect size trailer even just a partial amount. So disappointed

Ardy SherkEvery single interaction with Uhaul over the years has been horrible. This most recent took the prize for most awful customer service I've ever witnessed or been subjected to. I had to drive hours out of my way do to Uhaul not having trucks available despite me booking it weeks in advance. This ended up costing me $300 and an extra 2,5 hours of driving for a simple one day move.

Sandie MckenzieI will not be booking another truck through uhaul. I booked my truck on July 1st with a pick up time of 7am with mobile pick up and i was notified less than 24hrs before my moving day (July 30th) that I could not pick it up until 10am. How is that acceptable. I not only got 12hrs notice but UHAUL had ample time to tell me about the change as well as i had to shift all my moving help and was delayed by three hours on my moving day. Just unacceptable. I tried calling in to look for an explanation and I was on the phone for 2hrs.... horrible customer service. I will not book and will not recommend uhaul.

NELSON J GARBETTThis location should also stock car dollies. We needed a car dolly but ended up having to rent a car hauler because that is all this location had.
DARYL SCHINDLERBricks and wood scraps on the trailer, no hitch pin, one of the straps was broken and useable to secure the car. The site rep was very disrespectful. I will continue to use Uhaul, but not from this location.
