Mitch was nice to us in the beginning. He did explain that the tank needed to come back the same as it left. He told us that the tank had a little over a half a tank and to bring it back as such. When we brought it back, we had put $10 in because we only drove 20 miles, per Mitch. I calculated 15.4. Anyway, I explained that the tank had a little more then when we picked it up but he still charged us $13 more dollars for fuel. He was not willing to correct it. And although $13 is not a lot of money, it is the principle. He stated that the system adds it automatically. I assured him that he could have corrected it in the system had he wanted to. But he did not. Or he could have told us not to put gas that he would charge us the amount to get it to just over a half a tank. So, we paid $23 for fuel. It is unfortunate because word of mouth advertising is the BEST advertising and he will not get a good review from us. And the place is dirty

colleen gThe truck inside was looking old and used. When I asked about the lack of 2 wheel cart and pads was told that they no longer had them in the vehicle. When I would make a stop I would get a low oil level notice. I use to work for U-Haul and if we had ever sent out a truck like this one we would have been fired.

euGene HThe truck wasn't fully cleaned out. They left fabric protectors from the previous move behind. I didn't know what to do with them so I didn't use them but left them in the truck.
Robert RMy pick up time was at 4:00pm.. I got there at 3:50p.m. No one was in the store, but the big sign in the window said "OPEN". Therefore, I called the u-haul number. While, on the phone a man comes and points to a little hand written sign out for lunch from 3 to 4 everyday. This sign is nowhere near the flashing open sign in the window.

Amy RUpon returning my equipment I was charged for 19 gallons of fuel. I returned the vehicle with more fuel than what my paperwork showed I needed to. I demand a refund. This situation is already being handled. If I'm not able to receive a refund I will no longer be using U-Haul and will leave a review reflecting my dissatisfaction and disappointment with my experience with returning my equipment.

Miguel AWe had some difficulty with acquiring the vehicle transporter. Eventually, after being promised it would be available for pick up the next day and actually delivered to the stores location THAT EVENING, we had to pick up at another location, which was closing. That location was unfamiliar with the overall use of the equipment/hookup of vehicle onto transporter, so we did not load the truck. When we got it home, we learned the truck did not fit, but that office was closed. We spoke with the state UHAUL adviser. We took it to the Jas and Jos location and dropped upon his agreement. However, the 2nd UHAUL establishment demanded we drop back at his location in the AM when they open. We were leaving at 1230 AM and could not remain that long. We were docked 1/2 of the price because it was not returned to that 2nd office. This experience was quite traumatizing when it's the last few hours of a move AND we had to find another way to transport our vehicle. Then on top of it, we receive 1/2 our payment back. Jas and Jos offered good overall service, but the transporter issue went very sour with the inclusion of another location. We ended up paying almost 1000 more with another vendor to make a quick decision/turnaround for transport.
Kimberly TThe first location turned down my rental when I showed up. Both locations were unkept and not clean. Jas & Jos took almost an hour just to check out the trailer which further delayed my schedule. The store was sketchy and not not clean, people loitering inside, I was over charged for for a hitch. Unsatisfactory rental over all. The trailer was not clean and very old.

joy JThe truck smelled like weed, there were tobacco all over floor and passenger seat. Truck was very dirty. I brought it back with more gas than what was in it, and still got charged. I took pics before and after. That didn't matter at all.

Stanley CStore owner closed his store for "lunch" leaving a note on the door saying he would be back by 4pm with a contact number. I had to wait a total of 35 minutes to return the trailer til 4:15, when he arrived back to his store. He didn't answer the 2 times I called the number he left. Other than that the experience was smooth.
