The owner, Jason, was awesome! Friendly, fast service with no hassle or time consuming check-ins. They were responsive and flexible! Would recommend for anyone stressed with moving and acquiring a rental truck!

This location is a tiny shack built on the sidewalk. The posted hours said they open at 9 but the operator texted me that morning saying they open at 9:30. He arrived late in a U Haul vehicle and I didn't get started until 10. He had me sign my contract on his broken Iphone. The van was missing the handle on the side so I couldn't use the sliding door. It obviously hadn't been cleaned in a while. He was shady and told me not to use the app even though there was signage advertising it. He told me not to contact U Haul and not to complete the drop off online. I don't want that guy having my phone number.

Jason was awesome, made the process quick and easy. Only downside (and I knew this going in) was you need to street park it when you return the van, sometimes you get lucky and find a spot, sometimes you need to search a bit.

DO NOT CHOOSE THIS LOCATION unless you are prepared to be confused and able to park your truck on the streets of New York. There are no clear instructions, no one to help you, and this business is basically a scam. Uhaul support line was of no help and the overall experience was extremely horrible. I will not be returning as a customer and am warning everyone else I know.

The truck did not arrive until 1:20pm and I had to wait our front in the cold and I had friends waiting at my apartment to help me move. There was also 1 dead head light so I could not drive it at night. One of the tires was also very low with air.

I chose this location because I knew I would be in a hurry and wanted to rent the truck with human attendant. Instead a guy coordinated with me by phone and directed me to call UHAUL who had me work through the website which took forever. Not what I was expecting at all and terrible service rating because of it.

we waited two hours for the location worker to show up and to give us the uhaul. we scheduled for 9 am and received the truck at around 11. he kept saying he was close when he clearly wasn't, and he also had a horrible attitude when he arrived. we were not even able to pick up our equipment that the uhaul was intended for because we were so late. I've used haul many times but this was definitely the worst experience

There is no parking lot as advertised in drop off description. Had to find street parking with box truck, which took well over an hour after driving / moving for 12 hours with no A/C. Very annoyed.

Terrible service. Took two hours to get U-Haul. I also reserved moving blankets which he did not have and told me to go another location to get them ( they also were out). Will never go back to this location.

Jason Brooker was not only kind & efficient, he was flexible & helped me out when I was in a jam. Top notch customer service experience; if everything else wasn't as good as it was, I would still recommend UHaul because of Mr. Brooker.

my initial order was incorrectly transmitted as a one-way but it was always going to be return to the pick up location roundtrip the gentleman who assisted me with the truck was extremely helpful

My van wasn't ready for hours after my scheduled time. I received no word in advance that this would be the case, so I showed up to the location where there were no employees and had to call to get up to speed about the situation. I wasn't given any sort of discount for the inconvenience, just allowed to have the van until the end of the day, which was totally unnecessary since my job only took a couple of hours.

The U-Haul attendant was very nice but one hour late. The vehicle was filthy, the check engine light was on and the check tire pressure light was on. There is no parking for the vehicle, so when you return it, you have to find street parking in Brooklyn.

Your service sucks. Uhaul's website allowed me to book a cargo van for midnight on the night of the 5th. I clicked the link at midnight, near the location, which I had to drive to only to find out that the van was unavailable- that entry with my cellphone was impossible that the entire thing wa da sham and a lie. I was told I had to go back at 9am. This completely destroyed my schedule and my evening and my work. I went back at 9am only to be told that the location did not open until 10. The guy running the location did not arrive until 1040 and I did not get the van until 11am. A full 11 hours after I had booked the van. This completely destroyed my schedule and caused me physical danger, as I had to drive late into the night to accomplish what I was supposed to do in the daytime. Want a full refund or at least 50 % off.

I was given a truck that I was pulled over twice by the police because of a broken headlight and because the license plate was folded down. Also upon arrival the nice guy that gave me the uhaul was unaware that I was coming and said that he was actually closed for the day so I had to wait for him to come. That took about a half hour. When I returned the truck on the website it wouldn't let me go through the process online. It just kept saying try again.

This wasn't a location, it was literally a shack. If you can't afford to have an actual office for your staff, you can't run a business. Ridiculous. On the other hand, Jason who worked here was great. Not sure why he puts up with being forced to work out of a box.

I worked with Jason to pick up the car. I didn't realize that the van was at a different location, so Jason was nice enough to pick it up for me. He explained every and was great to work with him. I give 5 stars out of 5.

The experience was terrible. I had a reservation for 12,3 pm, but the representative was not there at that time. After I spoke with customer service, he called me at 12,45 saying he is having lunch (?!). He finally got there at 1,15 (45 min late) and I could drive off after 1,3 pm. The car was very dirty, definitely not cleaned.

I booked a 10' truck to be picked up using my mobile device. When I arrived to the pick-up location there was not truck and the small U-haul office was closed. I waited about 30 min until someone showed up. The attendant was in my opinion not friendly nor professional.... did not even apologize for arriving late and made me feel as if it was my fault as apparently he had called earlier that morning (8am) but didn't leave a message. Another couple arrived shortly after me to pick a van up and they got the same poor treatment, which was not really great to see. To my surprise, he didn't have a 10' truck, and gave me a 15', which was a bit large for what I needed. He said that it was an upgrade as they didn't have the one I booked and that I was going to be charged for a 10'. (which did not happen). I had reserved a hand truck and dolly online, which he provided, but asked for me to pay in cash for those items.... seemed odd. Overall, it wasn't a great service or experience and I would not recommend this location to anyone.

What an awful experience. I chose to use truck share 24/7. I get a message a few hours before pickup that this is not available for this location and that i need to come get my keys now. WTF. My boyfriend had to leave work to run over and get the keys from a weird shack. I mean, it's nice not having to return the van far from our apartment, but not worth the unprofessionalism and shady transaction with the guy who owns this place.

The owner/man who runs the location (376 classon Ave, Brooklyn) was over 90 min late. He called 15 min before the scheduled pick up saying it would be approx 20 min late for my scheduled pick up time, in which we arrived at the location for pick up. We then waited outside the office which was supposed to open at 1pm until 2:30pm. He ignored our phone calls and another renter also waiting for 45 min. until he called and said he would be another 10 minutes, but it would be 45 more. Once he arrived he promptly left us there for another 15-20 min until he could find the location of the vans without communicating what was going on. He never apologized and the meeting was chaotic and unprofessional throughout. He also kept saying that "he was doing us a favor" as if somehow we had been difficult instead of him. The van had also not been cleaned when we picked it up and had sticky cake smeared all over the front dashboard/radio. We had to text him the location of the van when we dropped it off, which felt weird but the least of our concerns at that point. We never heard back from him again. He also instructed us not to use the uhaul app on our return but instead text him. We were nearly 2 hours late picking up our furniture. We also had to drive around for 30 minutes looking for a spot to drop off the van, which admittedly is not this guy's fault but a bad business model as we then ran up the mileage on the rental and had to pay more. Overall, this experience was terrible throughout. We're moving in two weeks and will find another service to rent from. I'd genuinely ask for a refund because it was so truly awful but it would not be worth the effort to interact with this man again. Honestly this location should be shut down or given to new management based on our experience and the google reviews.

Have a vehicle on site on the time of reservation. Have someone on site at the time of reservation. Give your guys proper phones so the uhaul app actually works. Have a parking spot to return the vehicle.

Terrible customer service. Representative was leaving pick-up location before I arrived, and I had to chase him down to get my rental. He called me (and left no voicemail) 1 hour before my pick-up time, to tell me he was leaving and that I needed to get there. However, when renting a car, typically the protocol is you can pick-up your vehicle on or after your scheduled time. This was at 2:00 pm in the afternoon. Not even close the listed operating hours. Also, the van was dirty and the side mirrors were broken and wrapped in duct-tape.

The truck was not available until 12:10 PM (i hour 10 minutes late). My scheduled pickup was for 11 AM and I arrived at 10:55. Jason told me "I will just have to wait" and kept blaming the U-Haul mobile app for all the issues. I will never rent from that location (if you can call a booth on a sidewalk a location) again. Having to comb the streets to find parking when returning the truck is also a pain.

My reservation was for 10:30am. The truck didn't arrive until 11:30am. Then I was informed that the 3 dozen furniture pads/blankets that I ordered in advance were not available. While driving it, the engine light came on. It started raining later in the day and water was pouring down from the ceiling onto my passenger and onto the steering wheel and myself. There is also no parking to return the truck and finding a parking spot in NYC for a 15 ft truck is near impossible. I would NEVER rent from this location again. Extremely disappointed!

We booked the return at a location most convenient to our destination. Shortly after we left Durham we received a text from U-Haul telling us not to return it to Park Slope but to return it to Jenvic Corp. When we arrived at 376 Classon Avenue, there is no "location". The individual is virtual with only a drop box on the wall that is extremely difficult to find. We called the number and the owner told us to NOT leave the truck. He didn't want it. He does not do one-way. So we were stuck in Brooklyn on a 100 degree day with a truck and no where to put it. After a long call on the U-Haul 800 number finally U-Haul said to leave it in the street somewhere, but it was our responsibility to find a legal spot. It was the worst experience returning the vehicle I can possibly imagine.

This was wildly unclear process-wise, I luckily ran into someone else who was looking for their UHaul, and had a number to call. This set us at least 1,5 hours behind on a day that I had to be out of my apartment by a specific time. The equipment I rented to go with the truck was not there.

Location does not exist anymore, apparently the building was sold, so myself and two other people were confused on where the uhaul location was at when we were trying to pick up our vehicles. I guess this is just a street uhaul now? All paperwork just done on the sidewalk... Furniture cart and furniture blankets were not available for myself or anybody else that was waiting in line with me even though we paid for them. How is this inventory not tracked on your system? How am I supposed to carry and protect my couch if I'm told at the last minute that the accessories I paid for were not actually going to be provided? I would rather know this ahead of time so that I could prepare, rather than being left with no protection or furniture cart for my furniture! New Yorkers don't have cars, so we can't just go to Home Depot and pick up furniture pads and buy carts at the last minute, especially when movers are in the clock and elevator reservations only last 4 hours. Overall this was a disorganized and poor experience, I will warn all my friends from now on to avoid this UHaul location.

Please refund my drop off as I called and confirmed to drop off in the truck in Chelsea, multiple associates were unhelpful. My parents had to drive 90 minutes out of the way to drop off in Brooklyn vs right next to my apartment. And then lied to me saying it was fine if my parents dropped off the truck.

Guy didn't want to take the truck. Said wasn't taking one way trucks back. Hassled us. Location sucks to find a spot to park. Told him I'm Calling uhaul. Told me to hang up phone. Then after 5 min said would "do me a favor" and take the truck

It should be listed that this location doesn't have an actual location, but that you'll have to find street parking yourself. I was circling for 1 hour trying to find parking, and to then have to parallel park a big truck by yourself is not what I had hoped for. Won't be using this location again.

UHaul allowed me to book a truck for 7:30am and said we could do 24/7 check in. However, this site is not set up for that feature and we waited an 1hour and half till someone from the location could come and help us with our rental. This led to a delay in our moving time.

It is an incredible hard location for him to manage (no parking- all in the street), incredibly stressful for him and he really really is an extraordinary generous man to soothe the costumer's experience. 5 STARS TO JASON.
