Drop off location was closed. A Uhaul rental at a closed medical equipment store, GREAT IDEA!!!! Idiots! Improve for the next customer? Have people to assist customers!

I choose mobile check out and I didn't know I had to go inside some other business that was a glasses store. The people were very nice though just a little weird.

Biggest frustration was with U-Haul online system. Kept giving incorrect drop off location and instructions, then charged "extra mileage fee" because we dropped truck off at neighborhood dealer, two blocks from our designated destination, instead of location we didn't agree to an hours' drive away. Wasted both time and money.

The mobile app is one of the worst I have ever used! Every page tried to upsell and the opt out was very opaque. Getting the code to open the truck required a phone call. The truck was dropped in the agreed location, later when I attempted to "check in" the return, the web app prevented me as I was no longer at the location.

We were scheduled to pick up our Uhaul with the mobile pick up. Keys were in the vehicle however there were no instructions on the site nor in our emails. It was rather frustrating. After waiting on hold for 30 minutes we utilized the chat option and was able to be connected directly to a scheduling agent that was extremely helpful! Katelyn was her name and she was wonderful! The independent dealer did not schedule out pick with mobile and that was the issue. Thankfully it was resolved, just later than expected.

Was not able to get the lock on the door open to get the keys. Office help tried for 30 minutes and FINALLY got it open by shear chance. Check engine light came on just as I was leaving Roanok,VA. Stayed on for the entire trip.

I got charged a extra day because they don’t open till 10:30 am my drop off was at 10:00am And I did not know you had to go on the website they should have told me they don’t open till 1030??

The online instructions for returning the truck have you put the keys in the drop box. When I returned the truck, the representative told me to put them in the cargo area where I found them on pick up. This discrepancy should be corrected and the correct process reflected in the instructions as well as with UHaul representatives.

When I went to pick up the truck at the scheduled time I used my phone for pick up. Nobody was there to give me the key so I was unable to pick it up. I had to return the next morning at ten. They need a lock box of some sort for the keys. When I reserved, I chose the "automated pick up" option. I received a confirmation text and called the number but didn't get an answer and did not leave a message. That may have contributed to the problem.

A good experience all around! The ladies in the office were helpful and professional. It was very convenient to have a Uhaul right in town to help move furniture around. No complaints :)

We were in the office for 2 hours trying to get the computer work done. The 2 ladies in the office were having a terrible time trying to get it to work. We ended up being late to pick up the stuff we rented the van for. We could have been there and back in the time we spent in that office. It got so bad, my husband went on line looking for Ryder or Penskys or any other place we could rent the damn van. You can be sure we will never rent from Uhaul again. We were also charged for our estimated mileage and actual mileage was less and I have yet to see a credit return.

When I showed up, the poor lady had no idea I was coming. She was very friendly and apologetic. When I reserved and paid for my U-Haul online days before, U-Haul never took my payment and never sent along the info. It took me 2 hours before I could drive away in my U-Haul. That's a bit much. I had to reschedule the movers and my realtor. It was a pain.

Truck was dirty inside and out. People that rented it to had no clue what was going on it was on eye glass place very confused.
