- I booked 24/7 pick-up but the store did not fulfill that, so I had to sit in my car for an hour waiting outside for the shop to open up - Did early check in steps (license photos, etc) and had to do them all over again at the store

They weren't clear on the process to me. They were Very unprofessional upon return. They said, drive around the park the truck, they don't chk it in. They are not responsible. They did not come out to chk it. When i parked out front to ask, whats the process to the guy at the Desk Osmen, the black Nigerian guy name, started with a G, i think he said Gilbert is his name. He said he was the manager, he was very rude yelling as I was trying to get assistance from the other guy because Gilbert had a family of 4 he was working with. He was over talking, very disrespectful showing off for his people.Ge said I could drop it at uhaul, why, I got it here. I asked how do I know it's getting checked in and it's not be driven, if no one comes to chk it with me. He said that's not there business. They run a furniture business. Uhaul just use them for a location they don't get paid he said. The other guy osman seen I was upset and said the guy shouldn't talked to me that way. But call uhaul tell them you dropped it. This was an inconvenience of My time arguing with this Man in front of his Nigerian family it was humiliating and very embarrassing..UNPROFESSIONAL. I WANT A FULL REFUND. Uhaul needs to explain to people what to expect. Also, I was overcharged for a Safe Drive fee that I never asked for, or even knew about. That's real sneaky to be added a charge unknowingly, that's consumer Fraud by your company. I have never had such a very unprofessional experience like this. These issues must be addressed immediately. I suggest you use another location with customer service skills and safer. That street is not safe at night either. My first reservation was at the mass Ave uhaul. After arriving and attempting to check in, the application would not let me begin the Che k in process. After waiting for 10 minutes, the customer service number called back and told us that the location had neglected to put the keys in the lock box so that we could get the vehicle after hours. They then tried to find us a new vehicle, and told us there was one 15 minutes away. We get there and then only AFTER we check in we are able to fill out the information to confirm the rental which took about another 20 minutes. At this point we are at least an hour and a half behind the original rental time all because the first location forgot to put the key out. Fucking ridiculous. Once the review process was complete we go to get the key but we were never given the lock box code, so after our rental had already started we had to take another 20-30 minutes to call the service number again and have them call us back and get the key code. So we are already 2 hour behind our original time. And had to spend probably 30 minutes of our rental time to get the code. This was honestly the worst experience I have ever had and was appalled at how U-Haul functions. Absolutely ridiculous and will be highly reluctant to ever use U-Haul again.

The inside of uhaul was absolutely disgusting! I'm not one to complain but it was unbelievably dirty. Front & back . Trash left inside it. I called to let the guy at Jerusalem furniture know this & his response was " it's not my job to clean the uhaul, only to rent it. Unreal

I had a low tire and try putting air in it and the tire would t hold the air. I had to return it and called for a refund and never received a call back. I was not even able to do my trip.

They were terrrible! My truck was locked up and I had to wait two hours for anyone to show for an 8am pick-up. The communication was terrible and I went the day before the pick-up to scope it our talk to real people and did. They never told be about the pick-up app or how it worked or what was expected of me with no help. It was a horrible experience, and your app is really bad and not at all appropriate for most average people with super basic computer skills. You should always direct older people or people that don't want to use the app and do the uploads and troubleshoot and get frustrated on MOVING DAY!!!! It was so bad I will never give you another chance. You should be sued or criminally charged for "bait and switch" or just poor business practices. Worst experience of my life.

Will never use UHaul again after coming to this location. Was estimated at $143, I went a few miles over my guess and was charged $167 no problem. A couple hours later, and this location charged me and additional $80 for who knows what. Shit location, and would like a refund asap.

This was a really horrible experience, after picking up the U-Haul & driving to our location, we found that the back door to the truck's storage had a U-Haul lock on it, and we were never given a key. It took multiple calls to roadside assistance etc for anyone to finally help us, and when they finally did (over 1,5hrs into our rental period), they gave us a wait time of an additional 75 minutes. The U-Haul roadside assistance actually asked us to go to a local fire department to have the lock cut off, because it was going to take them so long to finally be able to help us. In the end we had a 5:30 U-Haul reservation, and couldn't even open the back of the truck until 8 at night. This completely threw off our move, and we had to move our entire apartment in the middle of the night, absolutely rushing to return the U-Haul in time since U-Haul offered us absolutel no assistance from their mistake.

You rented a truck with no back lights and no inspection sticker. The steering column was duck taped together. This truck should of never been on the road. Thank God my friend was behind me on the highway which is how I knew there was no back lights. How can you have a vehicle on the road with no inspection sticker and no lights???

Van is parked in a very tight parking lot. This location is not very accessible for me and I would have preferred the original location where I was supposed to pick up my truck.

Truck had no gas. Rental agreement said 1/4 tank. I caught I before I drive the truck away and I was not charged for gas. I did not sign up for the insurance but was charged for it. Truck smelled like cigarettes and the back was very dirty. I requested furniture pads online when I reserved the truck but this location did not have them.

This location is a scam. They use the truck to provide delivery for their store while tricking my contract to make me pay for their expense. This is my worst experience with uhaul. And no one is helping me resolve the issue.

We chose this location because it is the closest to our home. One of the employees was called to assist us. Our reservation did not show in the system, But he worked with us to make the reservation on the spot and we received the much needed truck. Great service!

This was frist time renting a uhaul, I was scared at frist but I got use to it, I wish someone would of opened it so I could of seen inside, He showed me how to open it by not looking inside I opened it & took pictures just in case but, over all I had a great experience !!!

Despite the difficulty I had with the U-haul, the men who worked there were very helpful and explained everything step by step on returning the truck. I will use their service again. (I bought a mattress very comfortable for someone with back pain).

The uhaul smelled like cigerettes and there were used paper towels in the cab. There was also crumbs and dust in the cup holders and storage compartments in front. The phone pick up did not work and I had to wait extra for someone to help me get the keys. It didn't ever send me a code tp open the lock box. Dropping off the uhaul was a struggle but I think it was just a bad service area.

The check in process online took me forever and it would not give me the 4 digit code to get into o lock box thankfully the crew at the pickup location was great. I was originally charged way more than I even asked for the customer service rep had to change me order. Overall the process was a drag and I really hope it is better next time

During my 6:30pm pick up the key was not in the lock box. Luckily a staff from Jerusalem furniture was working late and he was able to get me the key (it had been left in the return box). Probably would have been screwed if the staff hadn't been working late.

The truck at pick up point at 592 Washington Street had no dolly and furniture pads and I was charged $10 for each = $20 and I called one of your representatives yesterday on 6176237444 and he said U-Haul will reimburse me the $20. I think net time it's a good idea to charge a customer after confirmation with both pick up and drop off points.

I want to let Joseph know that we made it to Detroit without any problems. The drive was smooth, thanks to all of his driving tips. We appreciate him and the other three gentlemen. We were slightly upset that we forgot to get the gift they gave us after our transaction but it's cool.
