This place was more than fine, however the rest of my experience was anything but. This U-Haul journey started over a month ago when I needed a hitch installed. When I showed up, they told me that they rescheduled it (without letting me know) and was told they couldn't guarantee the parts to come in by move out (and I had already paid for this might I add). So I had to drive 8 hours out of the way to get it installed in time for the move. At the time I thought it was extremely frustrating, but I imagined it was just a fluke. I was wrong. Fast forward to July 1st, move out day. I had scheduled a 5'x8' trailer weeks ahead of time AND prepaid. When I showed up they had upgraded me to a 6'x12', a trailer I can't even tow empty (and again without giving any heads up). I told them I couldn't tow it, and they tried to find me a trailer in a different location. There were none over 10 hours away. After many hours on the phone (all of which was supposed to be spent MOVING) the only solution appeared to be to drive 10 hours away to where I was moving, pick up a trailer there, drive back 10 hours, and then move all my things out, then drive back another 10 hours (of course with the trailer those last 2 10hr trips turned out to be more like 15 each). You turned a 10 hour easy move into a 40 hour move, coating 100 $s of dollars in gas, hotels, and extended rent (my land lord luckily gave me some slack since you all were so poor at doing the bare minimum). I am beyond infuriated. Simple communication would've fixed this. Doing the bare minimum would fix this. Yet neither happened. This isn't a fault of the employees I talked with, no, this was a fault of all the higher ups. This is a repeat issue. Your cooperate structure, bare minimum wages, improper training, and lack of responsibility did this. If you can't even handle a simple line of communication, or ensuring an already paid service, how will you handle me as a customer? You have already lost me, my family, friends, and colleagues as costumers. There is a chance to win us back but compensating for all the money on gas, hotels, but most importantly admitting there is a fundamental issue with how things are run.Peter G.

Even after I had a reservation, the place was closed and no one was there. The owner basically lives in a small travel trailer on the premises. Neighbors said they saw him leave for the weekend. I ended up having to call uHaul to get this all sorted out.Jason B.
