Gentleman who helped me was very customer service oriented & explained everything in full detail & made sure I understood everything. Lovely salesperson & will go back to him for another rental in a couple months!!
Charlie GI rented a vehicle for what was intended and agreed upon as a one-day rental. However, upon reviewing my invoice, I noticed that I was charged for an additional day's rent, which does not align with the actual duration of my rental. Regrettably, instead of addressing the billing error, the conversation was redirected towards the benefits of my corporate account and various policies related to in-town moves. It's important to note that my rental was utilized for an out-of-town move, making this diversion not only irrelevant but also dismissive of my primary concern. This experience was disappointing for several reasons. First, the failure to acknowledge and correct a clear billing error undermines the trust and reliability I have placed in your services. Second, the shift in focus from my legitimate concern to unrelated topics felt dismissive and did not provide the customer service quality I expected. As a customer, my expectation is not only for accurate billing but also for responsive and considerate service when issues arise.

Parth SThis is my second U-Haul rental within three weeks, the first location was at 100 Nonquon RD Oshawa, and this location on Ritson at Taunton Oshawa, both clerks were very rude for no particular reason, both persons need some customer service training, especially when the customers are non confrontational. At the Ritson location I checked in before I got to the location, when I got to the location the clerk was acting as if I was begging him to rent 15" truck. Upon returning the vehicle he accused me of not refilling the truck with fuel. I drove a grand to total of 6 miles, the needle didn't even move, i still added fuel to the truck. He said, "you didnt", after showing him the needle before and after he said, "whatever", and continued to mumble under his breath. This is unacceptable, especially when I had proof with the receipt from the gas station plus the location of the needle. Overall poor customer service from clerk.
Everton YI did not even placed the order and it was someone else order that was put on my records yesterday by this uhaul location. The store was not reachable on phone and when the lady I believe her name was Alyssa called back after 3 hrs of me trying to reach her response was as if this usual matter and only when Manager on job who will come tom they can look into it. No person from the location even called me after this. I live 150kms from their location 2275 Barton St Hamilton loc and have never been to this place. I can give a benefit of doubt that this is a human error but is this is how you handle it?

denise mThese guys are always rude. They just pretend to be nice but they never answer your questions or concerns in a nice way. Yesterday, I booked the U-haul and the person at the front asked me to sign on the estimate agreement sheet. I started to review the estimate but he instead forces me to sign it first quickly & then will explain me everything on the agreement. I was like - no, I will review it first & then sign it but he was kind of pushy. This kind of customer service is highly unacceptable & I won't be using their services again. This location is a BIG RED FLAG. Disappointed.

Manji SI was told dropping off at this location would not result in an extra charge. I was charged $278 for wrong location. I would like to speak with someone to address this.

ERICA CThe truck was cleaned and maintained but the tire pressure light was on and the washer fluid was low - those were the only issues really. The renting process from the owner was incredibly efficient and he was very aware and knowledgeable of what to do. He provided specific instructions on what to do, advised me on insurance and made the whole process very friendly. I find it hard to believe that he would let the tire pressure and washer fluid get low. Most likely the previous renter did not inform him of the issue.

He even charged $16 for insurance from me without my consent and even demanded the original copy and original documents to confiscate those. This all happened when I went to return the uhaul.

sarah BThis is not a good location, store was closed for key pick up. Pick up time scheduled for 9:30 am and store doesn't open until 10:00am. For some reason the van had been left open (driver's side door and passenger window) and key was left under driver's seat. Found U-Haul app problematic and inconsistent. Had to start over a few times and once I got the message to go pick up key, was not able to get further information or key box code, since store was still closed. Overall very disappointed with the experience at this location.
Antonio TYour website indicated that the store opened at 9am, got there for 9am and store was not in fact opened, forced to leave and revisit store around 10am. Only rented the truck until 3pm, which was indicative on our paperwork, and at 230pm we had the truck back and then had to wait 20mins as the store was closed... at 230pm on a saturday? Overall just a bad experience. Lots of wasted time. I will say tho that they had the truck we needed and the truck was relatively clean.

The back stinks so much I don't know how can you rent something like that I had no choice but to take the track because my previous reservation was a 26 foot and it was broken down in Brooklyn, I couldn't even pick it up and then I got stuck. Worst experience ever I will never rent from you guys myself.

donald wHello. I wanted to reach out as the link to give feedback on my receipt was not working. I tried several times and was never sent a link. Just over a week ago, I requested a 15 ft truck for today, June 10th for 6 hrs. I used your online booking and saw that it would cost 29,99 for the truck rental and $1,09 per kilometer traveled. I chose to insure the vehicle and rent a dozen blankets. Yesterday, I went to your Uhaul site at Taunton Rd. And Wilson Rd. I purchased a couple of moving supplies and confirmed my reservation for today. I confirmed the price of the truck and kilometer charge and he agreed that it was 29,99 and 1.09. This morning a received a revised plan to pick up the vehicle from a different location. I was sent to a Jug City convenience store on Ritson Rd. N in Oshawa. When I arrived, the young girl took time to find my reservation. She then asked if I had responded to a text asking me to upload photos of my license. I told her I had not received this. As I opened my texts to check for the message it pops up. I tried to upload the photos but my phone would not send the photos. She tried and got it to work on her phone. She is filling out the contract and tells me she needs my credit card and asks for an approx. Number of kilometers we would be driving. When I tell her I rented blankets she says, "Oh. I saw that on the contract but I removed it." She said she would have to start the process over. She tried but the said she could not amend the contract so it would have to be corrected when I came back. She phoned someone for help. I received my key and was told the moving blankets were at the back of the store. I was expecting a stack of folded blankets like I had seen yesterday at the other location. These blankets had been thrown on the floor between store stock and were difficult to reach. I saw a small grocery cart at the back and put the blankets in it. The store was so crowded by items that it was difficult to get to the front door. No help was offered. When I got to the truck, it had garbage that left by someone on the passenger seat and half empty bottles of water in the drink holders. By now it was 9:30 am and 30 min. of my rental time was gone. I was still told to be back at 3 even though they wasted my time. I took a photo of the mileage and fuel gouges. Upon return of the vehicle, I again had to maneuver to the back of the store with the blankets. I waited for the same girl to assist me as she was helping another customer. I showed her my picture of the original mileage and the current mileage as well as the gas. It took her a few tries to complete an updated contract. I also questioned her as to why the rate per kilometer was $1,75 instead of $1.09. I showed her the rate listed on the Uhaul site and told her that I confirmed the rate yesterday with the other location. She took a picture of the rate and again had to call someone to clarify this issue. I was told that I had an American vehicle and the rate was different. Then it dawned on me that the speed was probably in miles as well. I told her that she should have explained that the speed was in MPH. By now the store had four other customers waiting and she was alone with all of us. I was given a new contract with the amount and just wanted to leave. As I was about to leave she says. " I will be charging your credit card another $5 for the blankets. She had not added it to the final bill I signed. I even put more gas in it than when I got it. This was the worst rental experience I have ever had. Other customers who witnessed the transaction were telling me about others places to rent from that were amazing. Vinroy TI booked cargo van at Jug City U-haul pick up location. It was really great experience picking up and dropping off the U-haul vehicle at Jug city Pick up location. The representative at Jug City was friendly and very efficient. My transaction was very smooth and hassle free. I would love to use this location for my personal need as well as will recommend it to others for any U-haul needs.
