Great experience overall. Great customer service from the desk attendant. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. Not much need for improvement in my opinion.

DEBORAH JThey overcharged me on mileage by 450 dollars, so no, I would not recommend this location to ANYONE. I don't think it was malicious, just a super, super careless mistake. If this person has been paying even the slightest bit of attention, they'd know it's impossible to travel more than a couple hundred of miles in a six hour span (I did a grand total of 47 miles). But I guess that's asking too much. They didn't even bother to print me a receipt, so I couldn't see their dumb mistake and address it until I got home. Awful experience being charged exorbitant rates after taking such care of the vehicle and even overfilling past the original half tank line.
Michael NI had booked my reservation almost two weeks in advance #14594670 and upon my arrival there was No key the said box of #3. Spent over an hour trying to speak to a live representative through the 800 number to be told that he would have to cancel my approved reservation and restart a new one for a larger truck in which I didn't need. While this was being processed I seen a manager proceed to go inside the store and I muted my phone while telling her what had happened. This was a waste of time because she not once came back outside to assist or have followed up. This is definitely poor and unprofessional customer service. It had been 24 fours and I had not received any receipts. Went back to this store location on Monday November 18, and it was three young clerks working in which one of them I had spoken to on Saturday when I stopped by to ensure that Sundays pickup would be smooth with no problems. The young lady that claimed she was the manager on duty was so nasty to me along with other customers within the store at that time. I left the store. I immediately called the 800 number to file a complaint inside my vehicle and a rep named LaTasha answered and assured me that within three business days I should receive a call from the District Field Manager named Aisha Bean but now it's going on another week and no follow up call. What's the purpose of having a paying customer as myself that utilized this established here at Just Because Gift Shop Richmond, VA frequently to be treated in such a rude manner? Why no one has followed up? And due to the mishap with no key being left in the drop box for me to retrieve on a close day per my reservation, the guy on the line issued a replacement for the the largest truck. Why was my credit card even charged $54,85 that was a mishaps on the store managers roles and responsibility? Awaiting to hear back from the powers to be. Merci

MYRON HI rented a U-Haul van on Sept.15th on the U-Haul app. I drove for a total of 6,9 miles but was charged for 135,98 miles and the extended day rate of $89.00. I spoke with an agent after the trip, and she said it looked like the after-trip miles from the previous customer were entered incorrectly at 4481. My actual before miles are 4851.6. The U-Haul agent said she would work to correct the charges. On Oct. 11th, I emailed U-Haul to let them know that my account has not been corrected. Someone did email me back to state that they were working on it but as of today Oct 16th I have not heard anything back. Merci

Lisa MTruck smelled funny, flooring in rear of truck was very greasy. Got my belongings dirty. Also used y'all's guide on how much gas to buy and ended up giving you a 1/4 of a tank of gas for free.

Edward MCost of $1 per mile is too high. Rented truck for 90 minutes and 44 miles. Ended up with a $44 mileage charge and put $10 of gas into truck. This means between mileage/gas I paid over twice the rental fee. I should have done my homework and read the fine print regarding mileage. I will use other locations in the area in the future that give some complimentary mileage.

Elise SThe App used to do a mobile pick up is not intuitive and not that easy for the layperson to use. After the second time of being bounced back to the beginning, I decided to just complete the pick up by just going into the rental office. Also, I received an email with a link to remind me to check the vehicle over. It asked me for location access and I must have touched the wrong button because I could not access the link. It would not let me retry to approve location access. Eventually, the link itself expired.
