Worst customer service I've ever received (or lack thereof). Rented a uHaul from this location. Was not informed of the after-hours service fee and owner wouldn't even provide the courtesy of contacting me to explain the situation. I returned the rental at a time earlier than specified on the contract and with more gas than required and they still wouldn't refund the after-hour service fee (that was not explained or outlined to me whatsoever). On top of that, uHaul would not go above and beyond to refund (said their hands were tied) and hid behind the owner's refusal to even sit down on a call. Horrible customer service by both parties including uHaul, would not recommend. Avoid at all possible costs. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Scam artists. Use a different rental company.James L.

Ordered truck for 9am pick up with a dolly & 10moving blankets. Arrived at location & was told I was lucky to get last dolly as it was first come first serve. Then he gave me keys to the truck the dolly & the blankets & told me truck was parked down the side street. Had to take dolly & blankets & walk down street to get truck. If you pre arrange a pickup time with the equipment you ordered with it one would expect the truck to be loaded & at the front of location for pickup.Darwin H.

I got there for a 10am pickup n manager did not arrive until 10:15am and then answered a phone call and talked for about 15-20 min about a stolen vehicle and i can even tell you the persons last name!! Then he does the contract and explained nothing except when i asked questions. He seemed put off having to answer my questions. Then i was not allowed to park on the property and it was suggested i could park in the superstore parking lot!!!! He finally came outside and i was ready to do the inspection n check the gas gauge. It was at 5/8 and i filled it to 3/4. I had to rush to get the vehicle back by noon and he commented that i got back at 12:07. Then he said we would agree to disagree about the amount of the gas that was in the vehicle. What an ASS HATTerry K.

Dismissive staff, a bit off putting. Retuned unit got home and received a text that the truck was still due back in 2 hours. Tried to call but the phone was not in service. Drove back and the staff we're playing on their phones and said they were too busy to check it on and if I really wanted I could do it myself. So nice truck, good location, just use the self check in and out for better service I guess.Christopher C.

I booked a guaranteed booking but my truck was not available at the time I booked. The day before my move they called to tell me it wasn't available until an hour later than I had booked it, messing up my moving schedule, and they did not give me the 50 $credit for not honouring my reservation.Kevin W.

The gentlemen checking us in was extremely rude and condescending. Also we booked a 20ft truck but he gave me a 15ft van. We reserved it for more than 24 hr as per the uhaul manager booking but he wouldn't rent it to me for longer than that and made me call his site superintendent. So I had to come back the following day for the same truck that day there from the previous night. I would never recommend that location or would use uhaul again. I'm extremely disappointed and it was an insanely negative experience.Zoriana W.

Staff were incredibly helpful, very well-trained, organized, and efficient. Booking online and confirming location/equipment was very confusing/challenging. We were not expecting the rental to go smoothly. The staff at K Mart exceeded all expectations, making this one of the best rental experiences we've ever had.Daniel P.
When I go to Home Depot to rent a van, the experience is better. Home Depot cost is approximately the same but theirs is an upfront cost whereas U-Haul sucks you in to thinking it will be cheaper. This might be a good strategy for getting new customers but I do not think it encourages repeat business.Donald K.

Very disappointed with the customer service. The staff there kept saying it is a new vehicle, I don't want even one spec of dust in the vehicle. Gave us a cloth to clean the car from inside before returning it. Very demeaning behavior. I will never come back to this location. After returning the car when we were walking towards the truck to get it inspected, he kept saying I hope you didn't scratch anything and I hope it is very clean from inside. I have never experienced anything like this before. Horrible! Horrible experience!! I have used U-Haul services before but nothing as disappointing and horrible as this one!Kevalkumar P.

They didn't have the furniture pads and only had an appliance dollie they didn't put it in the truck. They didn't tell us they didn't put it in the truck, so we had to go back and get the dollie.Peter L.

No issues with the representative I worked with or the check in process, I received good service. My issue is that I had to move my personal vehicle somewhere else (street parking) because "the owner will have it towed if I leave it parked in this lot" (the same lot where the U-Haul truck was parked). The truck was missing a side mirror on the driver's side, which I had no idea was supposed to be there. The policy of trying to match the gas gauge to what the last customer left is blatantly predatory, because matching is nearly impossible - meaning the customer will more times than not fill the tank higher, and of course Uhaul will not reimburse you for that. And if you're under: too bad, now you need to pay a bunch of arbitrary fees and I'm not convinced that Uhaul actually puts gas in. You should get the truck with the tank full and leave it with the tank full.Scott S.

The truck I Picked up was ran poorly. Trying to back uphill to the house to load up, it kept stalling out. When I was returning it, attempting to park it where told, it again stalled as I was turning causing power steering to cut out and the front tire to go over the curb and onto the grass. The truck would not start so I was unable to move it. I went into the K Minimart, told the representative what happened, and started telling me I was 3 minutes late. He then came out to look, called his boss and told him I had "crashed the truck". Really? One front tire was up on the grass. He refused to close off my contract, and told me to come back the next day. After 45 minutes, using my own truck and tow rope, got the Uhaul unit off the curb and parked properly.. When I returned the next day the manager was very nice, told me I should of just left it where it had stalled out. Apparently I shouldn't have moved it, yet his representative didn't say anything while I worked in vein to straighten it out.JOHN M.

The guy changed my original booking snd rebooked at this location. Which wasted my time but later told me not returned by 4 hr I will be charged additional late fees (even though he wated my time!).Md M.
The Gentleman in charge at his place was very rude and dismissive, I originally booked my truck for 8 am to 4 pm. I got a call to say that I could not pick it up unit 4 pm which totally messed all our plans. I collected the truck on the day at 4 pm and returned it at 7,3pm and put the keys in the drop box as requested. I got a call at 8,3 am on Sunday morning to say that I had not returned the truck! I explained that i most definately did and had and asked if he had even looked outside to see if it is there! he had not even checked that before calling me to say it was not there! No apologies for the ridiculous call, terrible customer service and very rude!!Lynn B.
