The location and truck were fine. The app experience is pretty terrible, it hangs at inopportune moments and does not properly refresh the requirements sent to it by the associate on the chat with you.Pedro D.

This was the worst experience ever. And I guarantee that I won't ever use Uhual again. I was scheduled to pick up at 10:30 and there were no instructions given on how to pick it up. The workers at the facility had no idea what to do. It took well over an hour to reach someone to figure it out. The representative was clueless and I still had to pay for three hours and it wasnt even used for that long. I wasted an hour on the phone dealing with you guys. I will never use uhual again! The service was poor & a major waste of my time and moneyTavia C.
The vehicle I rented did not have proper air pressure in the front left tire. Which is a safety issue. The warning message was on the dashboard so they should have seen it. I tried to call UHaul for roadside assistance but they had me on hold for at least 20 minutes. It was dark outside and I had to find someone to put air in the tire, and I am not certain they put in the correct amount.Kadisia A.
The number provided for customer interaction should not be out of service and unreachable to even the corporate customer line. I had a item locked in the cab and no one is able to direct or differ me to the proper points of contact to resolve the issue. We experienced a bogus charge of 1 736,00 $ from this location the day that I picked up this rental. We had to experience a disruption in our move because K2 Automotive overcharged our account and put us into the negative! We needed money to move and we had to wait to be refunded. Then when I tried to check the truck in the card would not process from my uhaul account. I attempted to use a coupon that was given to me due to my complaint in lack of customer service with K2 Automotive and the same card they overcharged did not process. I waited from Sunday, November 1, 2020 until Wednesday, November 4, 2020 to receive the final bill and withdrawal from my account and the 50 $certificate was not honored! This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had with Uhaul. I have chosen to take my business elsewhere in the future.Alicia L.

Uhaul is becoming to be a nightmareTempress R.
My reservation was moved hours before my scheduled pickup. This is the 3rd time this has happened. This time, I was late moving my daughter out of her dorm and almost didn't make it to the changed rental location in time, which was in a secluded, industrial area with no lighting or security! My reservation was from 4:00 to 8:00. I wasn't able to get the rental until close to 5:00 and had to be at my daughter's dorm in VA Beach by 5:00. Needless to say, that didn't happen. I'd just like more notice if I am being changed from my preferred location, especially if I'm being sent out of my way or to an area that isn't safe! The initial location rep was NOT helpful and could only tell me that the vehicle was somewhere else and I was not able to rent what they had on-site! This is my 2nd time using this location for my truck rental. I can't say enough good things about this site. Staff is courteous, equipment clean and in good working order! Should I need to move or transport any other large items this location will have my business in the future.Lisa B.
The staff at this location were fantastic! Very professional and courteous! 5 star service! Just one suggestion which has nothing to do with this location but another one of your providers (Williams Auto&Son LLC) 5936 Jefferson Ave, Newport News, VA 23605. This location does a great disservice to the U-Haul brand. For some reason my online reservation was bumped to this location (1 1/2 star) When I arrived there was another customer ahead of me on the phone with the rep for this location. Apparently there was no one at the location in order for us to pickup the equipment we reserved online. She had the rep on speaker phone because she wanted someone else to hear how this person was speaking to her. I was taken aback by the level of disrespect that spewed from this man! Well to ensure I wouldn't suffer the same abuse I called another location 9910 Warwick Blvd and got my reservation moved there. I told the other customer to hang up and call corporate in order to get her reservation moved and report this person. With the ratings and similar complaints for this location (Williams Auto & Son LLC) I'm surprised that this place still represents U-Haul.Lisa B.

either make the self pick up process much easier (took 30+ minutes to pickup despite the advertising for 5-10 minutes) or advertise a longer wait time. the app would connect on and off to the internet despite there being good reception.Jacqueline L.
