The wait to pick up was long and outdoors in a not super safe area of town There was a random guy walking on the street who kept asking for cigarettes and he made me and my friend nervous while we were waiting.

I was suppose to get a truck at 5 o'clock PM Friday and didn't get one until well after 6pm. They gave me the run around and had me go to a different location across town who also didn't have a truck for me and threaten to charge me double if not returned on time after I had a reservation set already. After having a rude experience across town I was sent back to the original place who I was suppose to get my truck from and all of a sudden they have a truck for me. After waisting my gas and time, I don't think I'll ever rent from U-Haul again. I would like my money and time back, they made a easy experience a stressful one. Do you guys not look at reservations ahead of time and see if you have enough trucks or any at all? Overlapping people's return times and pick up times is another reason for bad service. Poor experience overall.

We picked up the truck with the tank almost empty, but the paperwork said that the tank was 3/8 full. We brought this to the worker's attention before even pulling out of the lot. We asked and double-checked several times if it really was okay to return the truck at the same fuel level, and we were told it would be. They did not adjust the fuel level on our contract for us - they just said we could mention that they gave the okay at the time of drop-off. We had to take a picture of the dash to be able to prove this situation, and that dispute took too much longer than a typical U-Haul drop-off. This could have all been avoided if the workers simply adjusted the contract for us when we voiced the concern and given us a printed copy.

There was only one person working at the tire shop and seemed really surprised we wanted to drop off a trailer. He had to call a manager who told us to leave the trailer in one of the open spaces next to the other trailers. No one signed off or inspected the trailer. I was a little concerned so I took photos just in case.

In your comments above it mentions you are looking to give credit where credit is due, so hopefully that is the case here. I requested furniture pads when I placed my online order. Once arriving at the location I was told they were not available and it would be taken off when I checked out. At check out, I was just asked for the keys, and when I asked about the credit for the pads, I was told again it would be taken care of and taken off and It would reflect on the final receipt via email. I was skeptical, but left and waited on the receipt. After receiving the emailed receipt it was not taken off. Please provide a refund for the pads that were not provided. If they are not available at a location, I should either not be allowed to check it out online, or It should immediately adjusted as I pick up the vehicle. Very disappointed to even need to write this review.

El costumer service fue horrible la persona que estaba atendiendo en ese momento no sabia cómo hacer la renta del truck tuvimos que esperar mucho y para colmo me cobraron dos días de renta y extras millas. Please evite rentar en este lugar.

I reserved the truck 1 month in advance, but was notified day before pickup that the truck would not be available!!! Karen Raynor, Reservation Administrator, frantically assisted in finding a vehicle for me. Very stressful since I had my 100 year old mom packed up to move, but had no truck. U-Haul has to do a better job meeting it's committments to customers.

The pick up store made me wait 45 min even though I made an online reservation and the person who was helping me check in didn't know how to use the computer and asked me five times for my info. It is a poor customer service so sad. He didn't even confirm mileage, gas or truck.
