(1) Any kind of written instruction ahead of time to expect the truck in a field with a lock box off of the road and no business or building would have been suuuuper helpful. There is a Uhaul sign, but it isn't illuminated. I picked up in the evening, couldn't see the sign, and was very confused on where to go. Lighting it would help a great deal. In addition, the app kept telling me I wasn't at the right address until I literally stood next to the truck. (2) There is no curb ramp. You should add one, as driving a 26' truck over a full curb at an angle (there's not enough space to take it straight on) was pretty nerve wracking as someone who doesn't often drive large vehicles. AT LEAST note that there isn't one in the written instructions ahead of time so the customer doesn't waste their time looking around for one and then just "hope this is what I'm supposed to do".

Was just an empty lot No building no nothing. When we called them they said they had moved. You would have thought with all the text stuff and when I said what time I wa bring back that would have be said. Pretty poor on Uhaul communication dept. Then they said to just put keys u set the seat and not lock it.

The truck was returned clean, with less miles than allotted, full of fuel and returned an hour early. And was charged almost $300 for a rental that was supposed to be $169. Not thrilled.

Andrew ReifschneiderFor starters the fuel tank was not at half a tank as reported on the contract. Was below the half tank mark by about 4 gallons. While driving truck empty, was worse when loaded, truck pulled to the right, obvious alignment issue. Also both outside rear drive tires were at the wear bars on the tread. The inside of the cargo area was dirty and needed to be blown out with air and swept. Inside of the cab was however very clean, detailed, and no foul odors.

Within 10 miles of leaving for destination the exhaust system developed a hole in the system making the noise level in the cab 95db and required us to keep windows open due to exhaust for fumes for a trip of 1000 miles.

terry fundDo not mistakenly buy any SUPPLIES from UHAUL! I did and if I drive 75 mile each way, 150 miles total I could return supplies at no cost and refunded. Cost of idumbs I purchased cost $147,18 and I returned them at $239.59. I was told that the you will refund the $147.18. I feel pretty SCAMMED. I will be sure to pass this on on social media and anywhere else I can.

Michael FrieszThere is no K and P Welding at 3301 Avenue I. Return address is a vacant lot with 4 ft x 8 ft sign stating something like "Avery motors is not a U-Haul dealer. Call ### #### for instructions " This Averys (not actual name) motors is a repair shop next to the vacant lot. It was obvious they were tired of renters knocking on their door to return u-hauls.I found a drop box to insert key and contract. I was very uncomfortable dropping the only document I had relating to the transaction. I expected someone to inspect the truck and read the odometer upon truck return. This is why I checked NA on two questions regarding friendly and helpful, above. Later, I wished I had found where the dealer was and driven there to receive the service I expected. I did take a picture of the odometer and the contract. I am glad I took pictures of vehicle damage as I picked up the truck. I lost some sleep over being charged for damages I did not cause. I always thought your company was of high quality. If I use your product again, I will be more careful and document each step.

Konni EinfaltThe fact that they don't have anybody present at the location really doesn't bother me. The trailer was where it was supposed to be as planned. Peggy asked that I call her when I get there and tell her which trailer I picked. I called and Peggy didn't answer the phone so I left her a voice message. She called me later, asked if I had the trailer, and made it sound like I had done something wrong. She said she didn't see a missed call or a voicemail so she insisted that I had not called her. At this point we were talking to each other and we could exchange pertinent information but she kept bringing up that she didn't believe that I had called her. I didn't see the point in arguing with her and trying to prove that I had called so we just took care of exchanging information. If you don't bother having an actual person working at your location you might expect that not everything will go exactly as planned.

LAURIE LUNDGRENjust an empty unsecured lot with a telephone number to call when you drop off. I called the number but nobody answered. Left a message and asked for a call back confirming their receipt of my dropped off equipment. Never received a call back. Plenty of other Uhaul places in Scottsbluff that are attended and secure. Use them instead.
